Heavy Impact (Moon)

After a light hyper sleep I have made it into earth's orbit. Activating my cloaking device so as to not alert any of these dirty lower lifeforms, I shall make my descent to this blue orb. Considering they took out the main force I shall be considerably careful in my approach with them.

Kalen would close the terminal as he made his way to the pod where he would be fired from the ship back to earth. The halls of his ship were quite large, so much so that his engineer droids would be able to float above and below with ease. Taking great care he would turn to one of the terminals and press a few keys, this was to make sure the cloaking device was still active and the shields were up. He needed to make sure everything was in order before his departure. With a couple more key strokes he would be back on his way to the pod.

Once he made it to the deployment deck he would motion for a holo screen to show itself. After a few clicks for a moment the shields of his ship would go down so the pod could leave its protective shell. With a few more pushes he would be inside of the pod and head for the destination of the last Zydon transmission. Jump City.

Upon arrive in Jump City a pod would break the atmosphere and crash into the Lake. Luckily due to the Kalen's cloaking system it would take alien tech to know that he had arrived. Though the hole his pod put in the ground would say otherwise. Within his pod he would begin pressing a few keys on another holo screen. There were some particular readings he needed the pod to send back to base before Kalen could continue with his mission.

Kalen continued to type on his terminal until he noticed someone approaching his pod. At first he would have ignored it but then he noticed how much tech the person had on them. He was surprised at how much alien tech there was. Pressing a few keys he got a visual of the person preparing to knock on his door. The pod itself was small enough so that, once the man knocked on the reflective one way surface earthlings would consider glass, he was in range. Eyes glowing, Kalen would with a few more key strokes seeming like a distraction would slowly disable the man's weapons. Being a Technopath had its perks.

He first started with the gun that the man was holding. Before the man would know it that thing would be little more than a brick. He planned on continuing to shut down everything from his weapons to the pace maker in his heart... problem was the guy didn't have one of those so Kalen would have to do this the hard way. Pressing a few more keys the pod would open. Then kicking off with his levitation belt propelling him at the full 100mph he would ram himself into Eric's stomach. If it made contact the  two of them would be propelled towards the lake. Kalen would stop short a couple meters but Eric would probably end up in the water.

Kalen eyes narrowed, seems like the guy was unfazed at getting hit out of nowhere with a person moving at 100 mph. Seems like these humans were tougher than he thought. When the being began to pull out a picture of the interior of Kalen's pod. Kalen's eyes narrowed, how dare he? With his eyes still glowing their golden color with a snap of his finger that picture of his would immediately go dark. It was nothing for Kalen to get rid of such a thing.

Then the guy asked to see Kalen's pod. Without letting him answer he would make his way to the pod and begin looking. Kalen would have felt rage but instead felt annoyance. What was the point of asking. This lower lifeform, dared trample upon Kalen's property? Kalen smiled slightly. It was time for this scum to learn the pecking order. Within seconds he would appear behind the man.

"Actually I do mind." he said in his Zydon tongue.

With that he would release from his Zydon Gauntlet a powerful energy blast capable of destroying steel at the man from point blank range. From what Kalen saw of the man's speed even if he dodged it would be impossible for him to escape this completely. Kalen didn't care that he heard the man speak fluent Zydon, Destroying his ship, and by doing this he might be compromising his mission. This upright primate had insulted him, his pride. For that Kalen was going to make him regret his decision. With his eyes still glowing he prepared himself to shut off whatever defense mechanisms. The man had installed. If getting hit with a Zydon at 100mph didn't phase him, surely a steal denting energy blast wouldn't kill him. Right?

Kalen would take a few steps toward his pod. Luckily the mongrel didn't touch anything of value. Still Kalen thought he was going to have to sterilize it when he got back to the ship. Looking over he noticed that the being was still alive. How disappointing, Kalen thought. He was sure that the force would be enough to at least incapacitate him. Oh well, if humans were this hard to kill it at least explained how the zydon force was defeated.

Turning towards the knocked back person, he crossed his arms and glared at the being. Personally he wanted to capture the being and dissect him. Mostly so he could figure out how they worked. He wanted to know, what could he do to hurt them. Since the normal means he had devised seemed ineffective he would have to go back to his ship and come up with other methods of protection before returning.

"That is none of my concern... I have no interest, in playing your games." He said, his eyes still trained on the human. So far he wasn't exactly sure of the man's capabilities, but this would be a good time as any to find out. "Since you are alive, and I'm feeling generous I will give you two choices, forget what you saw here drop all your gear here and leave... Or be captured by me and dissected on a lab table."

With his eyes still glowing its golden color, his ship would covertly activate it's recording gear. This would help Kalen review this conflict later if it escalated.

"Your choice."

Kalen would watch as the being attempted to escape. Usually Kalen would have given chase, but right now his mission proved to be more important than crushing an insolent insect. Even so, something told him this wouldn't be the last time he come in contact with this kind human. Looking back over at his ship be began to walk inside. Let him run. Hunting him down would be a waste of time anyway Kalen thought. The point of his mission was to covertly investigate the disappearance of the Zydon main force, how and if they were wiped out. Not to chase after some socially inept human. That could lead to him getting more attention than he bargained for at the moment.

Kalen would look at his pod and begin to inspect it. From the looks of it, his pod had been damaged by his blast. Though luckily it was still operational, Kalen doubted the video he had begun taking would be of any use.. but data was data. Anything would be useful for his mission. Getting into the pod, he noticed that he was still being watched. His pod had marked the cliff 200 feet away and was showing a full view of the human watching him.

Kalen ignored it and got inside of the pod. The door closed once more and Kalen had begun entering information once again. His pod would begin to let out a light rumble as it began to scan the geography of the area and subsequently, Jump City. Kalen wasn't planning on staying long but he needed to find a place to stash his pod when he came back for his... objectives. After a couple seconds he found just the place to send his pod. With that he continued his work on the keyboard.
