The little halfling and the girl(Red)

Daniel nods as the boy takes the gold with a grateful and excited smile."Yes, Mi'Lady. I'll go get my men to pack immediatedly. You should get the child and yourself ready as well. Feel free to take clothing and supplies." Toji giggles happily as he's tossed and caught, snuggling up to his guardian.

"toji we shall grab everything we can and i'll make us a bag to put it in" Rose says to toji as she takes him back to the room and puts him down to satrt makeing a bag out of the blankets on the bed. after a while has past the bags are made and full of clothes and a small bag is now filled with food thanks to the servant boys help

Toji nods as he's put down. Dashing around, the little speedster helps gather things up. When it's finished he stands, bouncing excitedly. They were leaving!!!He didn't have to be around those meanies anymore!!

Rose smiles at Toji's excitement. then a knock is heard at the door and Sir Daniel walks in. "is everything ready Sir Daniel for our trip" she asks. as she lifts the bags. and then lifts toji onto her back.

Daniel nods."Yes, Mi'Lady. My men have everything they need, and are ready when you are." Toji hums happily, nuzzling into her back as he wraps his arms around her neck.

Rose tosses one of the big bags and then carries the other bags out the door. she turns to Sir. Daniel "lead the way good sir" she says happily. she smiles as toji hums happily. "you ready to get out of this horrid place my little toji" she asks. then she starts to sing a song that she heard from one of the pubs and noticed Sir.Daniel knew the song as well.

Daniel nods, stepping into the hallway, where a couple of his men now waited.At the question Toji nods rapidly."Yes!!!!" Tilting his head as Red begins to sing a song, he watches in bemusement as Daniel begins to as well. Shrugging, he tries to as well, though not quite getting it.

Rose smiles happily as she walks down the hal and then turns a corner only to see the Wizard standing there with a stack of books in one hand and his other arm in a sling. Rose smirks at the wizard. "i should have told you that your shoulder won't be healing any time soon. my claw dug into your bone as well......don't think i won't do it again cuz i will and will be happy to do it again." she says with a laugh. then she watches as the men pass by him with unease and then walks away with them. once a few feet away she looks at toji. "want to zapp him before we leave you might want to do it now" she says as the wizard starts to follow them.

Toji shrinks into Rose's back as he spots Corgi, shaking slightly. As Rose snarks at him, Toji stops, then sticks tongue out at the horrible man, taking courage in the woman's presence. At her suggestion, he raises a lightning covered fist, pointing it at the sneering Corgi, who quickly forms a protective barrier...only to blink as lightning scorches a line across the hallway, a clear warning. As the mage stops following them, Toji turns, nuzzling into Rose's neck.

Rose smiles as toji turns brave around her and then shoots a warning shot at the wizard. "you are turning so brave my little toji. i'm proud of you" she says softly as she pats his hands. before she even gets that far she shouts out as something hits her leg. she looks down and see a small letter opener made of gold metal hit her stuck in her leg. she bends down and takes it out of her leg. she looks up to see the Duke glareing angrily at her. then he is suddenly stumbling towards her in his anger and rose can see he is drunk and in a rage. she laughs as he suddenly pulls a sword out and points it at her. only to swing it at her as she steps closer but she catches it in her hand and winces as she notices it has black steel in its edges. her hand hisses and blood drips down her wrist. "your not worth my time to kill you." she says.

Toji giggles at the compliment,humming happily as Rose pats his hands.Yelping as Rose shouts, he blinks as the duke, looking red faced for some reason, comes toward them. Crying out as he swings a sword and Rose catches it,the little boy glares at him with black gold eyes."Stop being mean!!!!"

Rose twist her hand and is now holding the sword in her hand and pointing it at the Duke. even though it is causeing her pain she does not show it. she swing s the sword above her and throws it at the roust pig on the table behind the duke and hits it straight in the eye as she hoped it would. "i told you once before that if you lay a hand on me or toji in any way that i wouldn't hesitate to kill you, are you ready to die duke....?" she asks as her hand bleeds.

Toji blinks as Rose points the sword at the Duke, saying that she was going to kill him. Frowning, the little boy wraps his arms around her neck, snuggling."Please don't.....He's mean,but ye don't have to kill him...."

rose faulters and then jumps back to the group and starts waling away again the woound on her leg gone but her hands will take a few days to heal. she walks outside finally and sees the horses ready to go.

Toji pushes his face into one of the bags on her back, sighing slightly.Daniel looks up."Ah,mi'Lady Rose. What horse do you wish to ride?" He gestures at the animals.then blinks,peering closer."You're wounded...."
