“There is no place for your dictatorship in America.”

UNIFICATION FRONT

Unification Front Direoz7kT

Grade: B-

[HISTORY]

When the State of California was granted as a personal fiefdom to the hero of the Zydon War, there were various malcontents spawned from this unilateral action. Men and women of nationalistic minds who saw this gift as a betrayal of the Union. Without having seen the new government in action they deemed it a dictatorship and decried its evils, both real and imagined.

Initially just a club of trouble-making protestors, the leadership of the Unification Front took a hard-line policy of non-tolerance against California. Anyone who accepted the new status quo was branded an enemy. Their enmity was particularly levelled at the Californian meta-humans whom they believed formed the backbone of an imagined secret police.

Yearning to safeguard American democracy and return California to the fold, they began to arm themselves. Protests turned into violet raids. Anybody with a more soft-hearted approach was pushed from their ranks. Eventually members of the American government saw the advantage of commanding their own paramilitary. They began sponsoring the militia in secret, granting them boons of advanced technology in order to further their agenda.

The Unification Front now kidnaps meta-humans and respected officials from California in order to drag them across state lines. Once in America, they leave them for the legitimate authorities to find, so that each kidnapee may stand trial for perceived acts of sedition in helping the Californian regime.

America denies their existence. And if they did exist, it double denies they receive government support. But the fact of the matter is the Unification Front are gearing up their operations. They hope to destabilise California and return the USA to its former greatness.

- The leadership stylises themselves as military rank.

Personality: The Unification Front's personality stems from its leaders, who are ex-military all. They demand discipline and efficiency but their reach only extends so far. During operations expect precision strikes and expert coordination. When not under direct supervision the common member will be no less productive than any other thug and thus neglect his duties.

Their national fervour can be considered a form of radicalism. They are quick to defend their home country whether it is in the wrong or not. They are willing to take up arms to defend said country even when no one has asked. Their belief is in violence, not diplomacy and while they primarily incapacitate they aren't above killing their foe.

Many are ignorant to good reason, and those that aren't are in too deep now to change their opinions. They see the loss of California as a personal affront and their main goal is to reunite the state with the rest of the union.

Place of Origin: Nevada and Arizona.
