By The Camp Fire (Grayyyyyliiineee)

The truck stopped in the woods, allowing the five teens to exit into the campsite. The trail wasn't far from here, but they had wanted to get close to the river.

They had finally made it to new Jersey after a week of traveling cross country.

JaK exited and grabbed two of the heaviest packs on the back of the truck. Each weighed two hundred pounds, which JaK hoisted onto his shoulders with a mild grunt indicating uncomfortability and slowly walked to where they were setting up camp. "Lets get a move on the fire and tents, the suns gonna go down in an hour or so."

There had been mention of a cabin a few miles west of here. They would hike there the next day, but tonight was all outdoor fun.

Once the truck came to a complete stop, Haruhi jumped out of the truck. "Ugh what a relief." She said finally be out of the cramped vehicle. She took a deep breath as if enjoying the fresh air already. "A whole new world~" she began to sing, "A new fantastic point of view~ No one to tell us no! Or where to go!" she did one twirl and went to the back of the truck to help with the luggage. "Or say we're only dreaming~" she threw a couple cases over her shoulder then grabbed the cooler full of food. She walked up to Jak, "Need help there City Boy?" She asked him teasingly.

"Nah," JaK said dropping them down. "You trained me better than that." JaK said with a smirk. He took off his shirt. It was humid in the forest.

Kris got out of the driver's seat and smiled, "Who says you can't go home..." The woods were how he remembered. Kris began to look for the dried wood they'd need to make a fire, putting leave and underbrush on the bottom of the fire pit. Kris would then through a match into it, lighting the fire.

Cynthia would help with getting stuff out of the truck "aah~ kinda reminds me of home except more...American" she said with a chuckle. She would then start clearing an area to set up the tents, humming a little tune to herself, she hadn't been camping in years and never before in America. She was excited about the whole new experience.

Aeon could be seen sitting by the soon to be firepit. Somehow she had made herself a cup of tea and was sitting quietly, sipping the tea cup. She wasn't offering to help. Instead she had a can of raid in her hand, which she was using to mistify any insect that drew near.

Bow got out of the truck, still hugging her teddy bear. She yawned and pouted lightly when she saw Kris throw the match at the fire. "That'll take too long to get going good... Here!" She threw a small ball of fire at the pit and giggled. Her tummy then rumbled as she hadn't anything on the voyage over. She blushed in embarrassment and whined. "I'm hungryyyy~ Let's go hunt for food!"

"You bet I did." She agreed with Jak as she put down the cooler and reached in and pulled out a water bottle. As she took a drink she saw Jak take off his shirt and looked away blushing slightly. She'd seen both her male band mates without a shirt on many times before, but she was still caught of guard here and then. She pulled out an apple and began munching on it. She grabbed a second one and turned to Bow. "Want one?" She offered.

JaK grabbed a rock and snapped his fingers contorting it to a hammer instantly. Afterwards he reached for a nail and began to put up tents. Hammering away at it. He could use his powers to make an igloo like structure, but he wanted a man made camping experience.

As he hammered away his muscles flexed, and sweat glistened off his body. The nail was spiked into the ground with each hit. He had to put up 3 tents. One for him and kris. And a set for the girls.

As JaK continued to hammer he started to whistle and add a little rhythm to his hammering. Starting a tune would liven things up.

Cynthia glanced at JaK and blinked before looking to the girls with a grin "if we all go hunting then we could use each other's powers to an advantage, I could keep our feet silent as we stalked a deer or something or rabbit" she said "but someone would also have to watch over the camp too" she said "and we'll need a net to put our food in at night to hide in a tree so bears don't come sniffing around too much" she said, perhaps she'd seen one too many survival shows, and maybe she was still a little excited.

Aeon smirked as she watched JaK admiringly spike the nail into the ground. She was blushing, and her hands were cupped around her face as she leaned forward. "That boy.." She mumbled. As JaK started a little tune to his work she heard mention of hunting and leaned back looking at Bow. "You're going to kill, Rain?" She said to all four of them. "I'm surprised. I took you for the animal activist type."

Kris gave JaK and Bow a rifle, he had his shirt off, he was absolutely riddled with scars. He was rubbing dirt on himself to mask the smell of the city. He then pointed towards where he heard a stream, "That's where they drink, that's where we wait." Kris then walked into the shadows with only a knife, disappearing moments later.

Bow was staring at JaK as well, not able to conceal the fact that she was mesmerized by his physique. She barely even heard the two girls begin to talk but turned to face Haruhi as she offered her an apple. "Y-yeah! Thanks Haru!" She got the apple and started munching on the fruit before turning to Aeon and pouting. "Just because I believe in the fair treatment of all animals, doesn't mean I don't agree with hunting. As long as you eat what you kill, there's no har-...well... I-it makes it sort of okay..." Her mind started racing with images of baby fawn weeping about the loss their mother and it made her face drain of color. Then she was handed a rifle and she bit her lip, looking at the gun and trying to think of how to use it. This was mostly a training exercise to test her memory to see if she had ever fired one of these things before...

JaK dusted his hands together. He hadn't finished setting up camp, but if everyone was going hunting. "Well are we going to let Kris brag about getting all the dinner or what?" JaK said as he got a running start and ran up a tree. "Lets help him out!" JaK said as he began to move through the tree branches towards the direction that his bandmate had disappeared too.

"You stay back and keep an eye on things Aeon," his voice echoed back. "If a bear comes, spray it with your raid." JaK's voice trailed off.

Cynthia smiled and picked up a hunting rifle and looked to Bow "that's why you only get the weak males Bow, don't shoot the females because then they can't breed and make more, but if you kill of the weak ones the stronger ones will survive, its natural selection really" she said with a nonchalant shrug as she loaded up the rifle with bullets and put some extra into her pockets then followed after the guys calmly, watching where she walked so she didn't trip and keeping the gun pointed down.
