Majorly Flash Frozen! (REBIRTH Mission)

Summary: Major Force & Professor Zoom have built an extremely powerful machine in a small abandoned base in the Earth's polar region powered by Major Force without the JLA or world's leaders having any knowledge of what's going on, thanks to major Force's league access. Their plan is to activate it and draw an oncoming solar flare towards the Earth, at which time Major Force will try to absorb all of it's radiation and become one of the most powerful beings on the planet. Zoom is helping him because he wants the Flash & the rest of the JLA destroyed, plus if the plan fails and Earth is destroyed by the flare, he can escape into another dimension of the multiverse. Major Force isn't even sure if he can do it, but his lust for power has turned the once JLA member into a traitor. Elite has picked up on what's going on, and with no time to convince the Justice League one of their members have gone rogue, it's up to them to stop the two super-villains or the world could be destroyed.

A small polar bear walked up to the wall of metal. Nothing was getting through that, the bear decided. The bear walked around the large facility, admiring it's sheer size. Major Force was no genius, according to the briefing she had received. He must have a small army of scientists in there. Were they working for him willingly? Or did he simply threaten to destroy them if they didn't follow his orders? Annie wasn't sure.

It was getting cold out here. Way too cold.

She found an air vent. Finally. The bear stretched it's arms out about 8 feet, and pulled itself up to the opening. Annie wished she was stronger, it would have made this easier. Molding herself into a much skinnier frame, Annie crawled through the air vent. She had to squeeze herself through a wire screen. She took some deep breaths afterwards. That had taken a lot of effort, and it had been just plain weird. She shifted back into a girl, being quite tired of being a bear.

She dropped out of the air vent and into a room. Instead of gracefully dropping to her feet, she landed hard on her butt. Ouch.

A guard heard the sound and came to investigate. He opened the door and saw the girl in a red sweater. Confused, he lowered his rifle. "What are you doing in here?"

Annie frowned. She was hoping that nobody would notice her. She stretched an arm out across the room, and grabbed the man by the face. Her hand formed a medical mask over his face, preventing him both from breathing and calling for help. He brought his rifle up and hit her arm with all his might, breaking it in half. Annie winced in pain. It hadn't actually damaged her, but she felt pain because she expected to. Pain was what made her human, instead of a monster.

The man ripped the mask off his face, but Annie ran forward and molded her left arm into a blade. Stretching the blade out, she stabbed the guard in the stomach. He was still short on breath, and wasn't able to cry out in pain. He dropped to his knees.

Annie looked down at the blood on her arm, terrified. She hadn't wanted to kill anyone on this mission. She never wanted to hurt anyone. The blade had come as a reflex, without her even thinking about it.

The guard was still alive, although he was hurting pretty bad. He tried to shout. The first one was too quiet for anyone to hear, but he would probably get louder. Annie formed her right arm into a hammer and slammed it down on the man's head, knocking him out.

Well, she was in. Not everything had gone perfectly, but this was her first mission. She could do this.

Stuffing the guard into a locker, Annie borrowed his appearance and his rifle. Her powers allowed her to look just like the guard, right down to the uniform. Taking a quick look in a mirror, she smiled grimly. It was time to get to work.

Meanwhile, in the makeshift holding cell of the facility, the scientists and other team members had been thrown into a vacant room and the air ventilation had been turned down, way down, to freezing temperatures. Additionally, Major Force was a ruthless man and was taking his time beating one of the supposed guards senseless that had decided to challenge him so that the others could remain safe. Their skin had began to turn white and pale form the cold. The other guards and scientists that hadn't gone along with the plan and were freezing in the room just watched in horror as Major Force pummeled this man ruthlessly until his face wasn't even recognizable. Oddly enough, the entire time the rogue guard hadn't made a sound.

*pant pant* "And that's what happens, when you decide to try and stand up against me when I say stay down. Feel lucky punk, I'd make more of an example out of you, but I've got business to take care of."

"MAJOR! Stop messing around and get into the lab stat. Were about to begin test phase 1, I need to set the power dampeners to your bio signature immediately, and although I'm nothing like that buffoon Flash, my patience does still run quite thin."

Professor Zoom's voice stormed out from the Major's intercom.

"Ya ya, professor, I'll be right in. Remember that beating you just got, after this is done, I'm gonna come back and make you wish something sweeter. If ya live."

That being said, the atomic rogue hero exited the room and turned to one of the other guards outside the room that had decided not to go against Zoom or himself.

"keep a close eye, if any of them freeze to death...leave em."

Major and Zoom had killed half a dozen men in under 2 minutes just raiding the base with all security drills up and running. The scientists and staff were terrified of them and followed their commands to the letter. Escape was no option because Reverse Flash would catch them within seconds, no matter how far they got and Major Force was putting up severe interference with his radiation that emmunated off his body. This way nobody could radio for help.

As the man lay on the floor in a heap, others rushed to his aid only to be staved off when he raised a hand.

"Save your strength everyone, you'll need it to keep warm."

The voice rang out in the cold, followed by a puff cloud from his breath.

"I heal pretty quick..."

With that, the man turned to look at the others with a golden yellow eye as his face slowly turned back to it's normal appearance, revealing himself to be JaK Sage. A moment later, he staggered up and knocked on the entrance door in a specific rhythmic fashion for the guard on the other side to hear. Since he and his partner could not radio each other thanks to Major Force, they both had to infiltrate through different means.

Major Force stormed out of the freezing prison. A guard offered him a shaky salute. Force told the guard to leave any captives if they froze to death.

"Yes sir."

Major Force left to meet up with Professor Zoom. A few seconds after he had disappeared from sight, the guard walked up to one of his comrades...and punched him in the face. His fist turned into steel just before impact. The surprised guard fell to the ground, unconscious and with a broken nose.

"What was that for?" The third and final guard asked, leveling his gun.

Annie turned to face her supposed ally and calmly started walking towards him. The man fired his gun...or rather, he tried. The rifle didn't fire because the trigger seemed to be stuck. The guard looked down to notice that there was a small wad of clay blocking the path for the trigger to travel. When had that...?

A metallic hand punched him in the face, knocking him out cold.

The door opened. Annie, still disguised as a guard, smiled at JaK, but her eyes were filled with concern. She hadn't seen him this hurt before, and this was after some time to heal.

Annie threw a salute to JaK, and then dragged the two guard bodies into the freezing room. She looked at the prisoners. "We need two of you to get into these uniforms. If anyone asks where the third guard is, I'm in the bathroom."

The prisoners were confused, but they weren't going to turn down the only hope they had. Two men quickly changed into the uniforms, bringing a blush to Annie's face. It couldn't be helped. They didn't have time to look for a changing room.

The plan seemed to be going well so far. Now for the hard part. They had to stop a powerhouse and a speedster. Annie looked to JaK. "Ready?"
