January 5th (Kris)

Bow was spending today in the park. She had started early in the morning with a nice stroll watching the sun rise. Before the sun was full up and bright she sat on the swing set and swung until little kids started to show up and play all around her. She smiled and got up giggling as one of them tugged on her skirt. She turned around and got on her knees to look the little girl in the eyes.

"Hello the-" She was interrupted by the little miss. "Why's your hair pink lady?" Bow blushed a tad and giggled. "It's pink because I have lots of love right... here." She touched the little girl's heart and her eyes got wide. "THAT'S SO COOL!!" She ran off to tell her mommy.

Bow giggled and started walking around the park again, thinking about everything she loved. She was so thankful for this new year and had a feeling it was gonna be the best one ever. In the history of the world! As she laughed a bit at herself she thought she saw a familiar fedora. She glanced over a few times, but kept walking. Nah... Can't be him... What would he be doing in the park? She was blushing just a tad as she thought back just a few nights before...

Kris was just reading under a tree, it was relatively warm for January. He looked up and saw Bow, waving her over, his cheeks had a tint of red, partially from the cold and partially because of what happened. He took off his jacket and rested it beside him so she would have a place to sit, smiling as he did so. "Hey, Bow," He said with a stupid smile, "Lovely weather, huh?" He didn't say it just to make conversation, though that was a main reason. Okay, so he had a tiny crush on her, so what? He was Kristoff Makarov, he didn't get choked up by girls... Unless their name is Rain Lynn Bow.

Bow blushed even more as he waved her over. She made her way slowly to the tree trying to calm her heart. Come on Bow... He's just a boy... So what you kissed? He probably doesn't even remember... It was New Year's after all... Just calm down! She smiled and sat down by Kris on his jacket, which she did take note of and thought it was absolutely adorable. She giggled as he tried to make small talk and leaned against the tree, letting out a sigh. "It is beautiful today, isn't it?" *giggle* Her heart was still pounding in her chest, but she managed to stay at least sort of poised. Her cheeks said differently though as they turned bright pink.

Kris fiddled with his thumbs, his heart was pounding in his chest. He couldn't think straight, he just smiled dumbly at Bow. He would then sigh, "So, how about that party?" He hoped she remembered, that would make this whole thing easier, he didn't want to awkwardly explain that they kissed.

Bow blushed from head to toe when he asked about the party. Her eyes darted around as if to see if anyone had heard him. When she looked back in his direction she accidentally made eye contact and quickly looked down at the ground and pulled out some grass to fiddle with it. "Well... the food was wonderful wasn't it!? *giggle* A-and midnight was pretty fun too..." She blushed even more as she alluded to it, hoping he would know what she was talking about so that she didn't have to just say it.

Kris rubbed the back of his neck, looking bright red, "Yeah, it was." Kris then chuckled nervously at Bow and tried not to make eye contact, he was too nervous. He sighed and looked at her. "What did it mean? Was it just a spur of the moment thing or- Actually, nevermind," He quickly changed his mind, of course she wasn't into him like that. He was a just contract killer while she was perfect. He looked back down and twiddled his thumbs for a bit.

Bow blushed from head to toe when she realized he knew what she had meant. She hadn't guessed in a million years that she would feel like this over just a New Years' kiss. That's all she had thought it was. Or did she? Looking back she understood that she did have a crush on him. A major crush. She bit her bottom lip as she remembered that she had even stole his fedora. That was just to get his attention, wasn't it? It took a moment to register that he didn't even finish his question. She wasn't thinking and looked him straight in the eyes. "Now you have to finish the question!" She looked away quickly and blushed, playing with the grass again. "I mean... Please continue?"

Kris was taken back by her yelling at him to finish the question. He sighed and looked down, scratching the back of his neck. "Really, it's nothing to worry about," He said rather unconvincingly, his smile was crooked and he just couldn't to make eye contact with her. It was annoying, he was never this bad with girls before, atleast as far as he could remember.

Bow pouts and keeps playing with the grass, looking down at it to avoid eye contact and hide her blushing like crazy. "I wanna know what you were gonna ask... You have no idea how I might of answered..." She blushed even more as she gave him the small hint that she liked him. It was a true girl's hint, completely hidden and only the most perceptive of boys would ever be able to uncover the true intent of the statement. She was hoping Kris could.
