It was a sunny day in midtown, the more illustrious part of Jump City. Not to far from here was the zoo, the museums, and a slew of banks. But right now, Terra was at an ice cream shop, she felt she needed to treat herself. She paid for a giant chocolate cone and walked away, licking it happily. It wasn't too often that Terra got a chance to just walk the streets and eat an ice cream cone. She usually was stopping some villain who was robbing something, or breaking something, or causing some sort of trouble. She continued to lick her ice cream as she walked, stopping in front of a bank that had a busted window and the door was hanging off the hinges.

"Ahh crap, not now of all times," She said walking over to a trash can and throwing her cone away. She can't say she was surprised. She looked around, in search of the culprit, but all she saw was the evidence he had already left. She thought for a moment and then walked over to a nearby alley. There he was, a robber sitting there counting his loot. Man, he sure was stupid. "Couldn't even go five feet without making sure you got enough huh? Well I can make sure you won't be leaving with any of that" She said and placed her goggles over her eyes, getting ready for a fight.

Eric got a call that there was a a robbery. Just another person that wants some money and fame. These people can be so stupid to think that they wouldn't be caught. Eric's helmet was adjusted right so he could fight in it. He drove on his black and red sleek motorcycle.

He got to the scene of the crime and heard voices from a nearby ally. He hopped off the motorcycle, putting on the kick stand so it wouldn't fall over, and threw the key in his pocket. He took his back pack, adjusted it, and took out a pistol. He walked over seeing a girl and a guy with a money bag.

" Didn't get far?" Eric said pointing the pistol at the criminal. The helmet on Eric's head covered his hair and face and muffled hsi voice just a little. " Put your hands up and put the money down." Eric demanded walking past the girl.

Terra looked at the guy that had just arrived, "Hey now, I had this all under control," She watched him walk by her, "Just do as he says, or there will be trouble," Terra said clenching her fists and looking at the robber. He looked at the two of them and grabbed his bag, running quickly away, "Aw crud," Terra said and her hands glowed yellow as a sizable chunk of rock beneath her broke free from the gound and she flew after the robber. She took another chunk out of the sidewalk and sent it flying after the robber, missing him by inches but sending him flying into the ground. He quickly got up and continued running, Terra flying right behind him and continuing to send small rocks down on him, but he dodged out of the way every time.

This went on only for a minute or so until Terra got an idea. She concentrated hard and raised the cement in front of the robber, creating a wall tall enough so he couldn't jump over it. Terra landed right behind him, "Hands in the air bub," She said and the robber dropped the bag, pulling out a gun on her.

Eric watched them run off and battle. Wait a second, this girl has yellow hair, goggles, and can control the earth. It's Terra! The Terra that betrayed the original Titans but came back around and saved the whole city! He walked behind them and pointed his pistol at him again.

" look buddy! Put down the gun! I am authorized to shoot as a Teen Titan!" Eric threatened raising the gun a little higher, aiming just right.

The robber saw the gun and dropped his, "Alright alright! dang, can't even take two steps without getting ambushed by heroes nowadays," He said and then set down the bag of money. Terra turned to the Titan, "A Teen Titan? You know Hotwire then! She said and smiled, "I met him the other day, he kinda went all fanboy on me," She said with a laugh. She walked up to the robber and grabbed the bag, "That's right buddy. Maybe you should focus your energy on something good and not on evil deeds," She said opening the bag to see a lot of money. Man, he hit the motherload.

" Wow you gave up easily." Eric said laughing grabbing the guys wrists and holding them tight. He heard the nearby cop sirens and watched the car pull up with speed. Eric practically threw the criminal on the cop car and watched the cops throw him in the back.

" Yeah Hotwire is really cool. He's a little awkward around girls, which is funny too watch, but still." Eric said laughing taking off his helmet and throwing his hair to the side with a simple hair flip.

" By the look of it, you must be the hero Terra?" Eric said sticking out his hand. " I'm Eric." Eric greeted smiling.

Terra nodded, You guessed right, no surprise there. Nice to meet you though," She said and smiled at him, thinking he was quite handsome for a hero. She watched the cops wave at them, then drive off, sirens blaring, "Man I gave up an ice cream cone for that," She said with a laugh then looked at Eric once again, "How are the Titans these days? Anyone familiar stick around?"

" No Titan's really stuck around. There off doing better things around the world." Eric said smiling. He couldn't believe he was talking to "The" Terra, he wasn't so obsessed but you couldn't say that everyday. HE didn't show any fan boy emotion on the outside and started to treat Terra like any other girl Eric would meet.

" Well, for doing such a good job. Do you want to go get another Icecream?" Eric offered reaching out his hand.

No Titans stuck around? Well that was a bit sad wasn't it? She smiled at him and nodded, "Sure that sounds great," She said taking his hand. She just met the guy, but she already felt like she'd known him for quite sometime. She wondered what powers he possessed, if any, and what other kinds of powers were on the team now. Maybe that's what she should do, re-join the Titans. It wasn't a bad idea, seeing as she was once again teamless.

Eric guided her to his bike and put his helmet on her. He threw his leg over his bike and made sure she was on too. He took off in not that much speed considering he didn't want her to become too scared.

After about a mile he stopped in front of an Ice cream shop. He hopped off and smiled. " This is on me. What would you like?" Eric said taking out a wallet from his back pocket.

While they were riding Terra held on to his shoulders, not scared but still not wanting to fly off the back. She felt tiny under the bike helmet, as it was a little big on her. Smiling from ear to ear, she hopped off the bike when they got to the ice cream shop. She took off his helmet and handed it to Eric, Just a chocolate cone sounds great," She said with a smile and looked at him. Maybe this time she would actually get to finish it without a villain messing things up for her.

She looked at the man behind the counter, noticing he looked like he just wanted to go home. Holding back a laugh, she waited for Eric to pay for the ice creams, glad she had agreed to come and get one with him.

" Okay." Eric said smiling holding the helmet like a football then guiding Terra through the crowd finally getting to the Ice cream line. " Two Ice cream cones, one vanilla one chocolate." He said with a friendly feel handing the man behind the counter some money.

He looked at Terra and smiled then took the two cones the man gave him. He then gave the chocolate cone to Terra and licked his cone happily. " Enjoy!" Eric said with a smile.

Terra grabbed her cone and smiled wide, Why thank you. I plan on it," She said with a laugh and licked her cone happily. She looked around for an empty table, since there were a few around the parlor, each with a giant umbrella over it to block the sun. She saw one and looked at Eric, "Want to sit down?" She asked pointing to the empty table and smiling at him.

Eric nodded then put his arm through hers like a married couple. He sort of ran to get to the table like it was the last table on the earth. He picked Terra up and put her down on the seat laughing. He then sat down from the seat across from her, laughing.

" not to come off like a creep but where are you staying?" He asked still eating his ice cream with joy.

Terra looked at him, a little embarrassed at the answer she was about to give. Ever since she had left school, she was no longer staying in the dorm that was offered. She instead had stayed wherever the wind took her. Right now it was not to far outside of town, amid some rocks and such. She had carved a cave into the earth and that's where she stayed, but she didn't want to tell him that.

"Oh you know..." She said as if to brush off the question, "A few nights here...a few night there, it's all very comforting," She said with a smile.
