Naruto or Avatar based RPG?

We should set it after Korra looking for the Earthbending Avatar and maybe put it in a more modern world

I'm cool for whatever setting as long as it's Avatar based. Um, I call making a wicked awesome water bending dude! Um...I have no clue about a name...maybe Darrow or Nodd...Those are two of my generic medieval type names...

We don't have to choose canon characters do we? Because, Im not sure if I know some of the canon characters well enough to do them justice in an RP...

No it'll be OC and ya lets try to mix it up? I think Josh should be Avatar if there is an Avatar seeing as I only brought this and the AU section was only made because he wanted us to be able to have an Avatar character on the site. So seeing as we owe him for the very chance to do this hell be Avatar. Next ^ you've called waterbender and I would like to be an Earth or Airbender, but I'm assuming that Ninjafox would like to be an air correct so in that case I'll take Earth. But, if Josh is to be Avatar I guess that leaves me with Fire unless Ninjafox would like to be Fire.

OT: None of what I'm saying is set in stone were just brainstorming here. We can actually probably have more than one type each, I was just suggesting this.

Alright but let's mix this up a little bit too. Who're the Avatar's enemies? Because, if that's still up for debate, I wouldn't be against making my water bender evil

Oh, okay thank you, so who's going to start it or are we waiting for more people. Or for a conclusion on what the setting will be?

Erm we still need to make a final decision on plot. So right now lets think of what we have.

We have 4 different benders played by 4 diff roleplayers and each a different age...I'm thinking we make a roster thread for our chars and explain them and then make the world of avatar thread. As for as the goal and point of thread I'm still iffy on that.

Josh will be Earth Avatar, which comes after water. So it'll be after Korra has passed thus in a more futuristic setting. I'd say really early industrial/colonial times. They have actual ships now like the titanic, but still dress urban and maybe have rudimentary planes such as the ones used by the wright brothers. Maybe soldiers use muskets and fire nation needs no gun powder for them and finally they have basic cars in big cities.

About the conflict I'm not sure yet...

#1) We could all four be Avatars and there's controversy because this is the first time that's ever happened. Like we were all born on some certain day or whatever.

That's just one idea, feel free to spit out more. Like the water nation turning evil for whatever reason.

Yes, I think that would be very cool if each nation claims that they have their own Avatar but it is a controversy on which one is the real one! Since, it is in an early colonialish time, there may be new technologies that simulate mild bending! I can imagine Darrow developing some sort of gun type weapon that shoots rocks rather than bullets!

I think Darrow knows that he isn't the Avatar but likes fooling the water nation into thinking he is the Avatar...That's where Darrow would be if we went with that idea anyway...

Possibly for a conflict, if we go with that idea, is that every nation is warring with every nation basically! World War I: Avatar Edition??

HMm I kind of like that idea to... Maybe it can even be an accident.

Where four different kids, from four diff nations picked the same toys by chance and only one of them is real avatar (Or we can all be the real avatar) And because of that all the nations are at war as debate went on about who had the real avatar. After the war raged for a while the nations decided to take the benders and send them on a quest to seek an ancient artifact that only the true avatar would be able to get/find.

On the way the Avatar(s) must learn all four bending styles. Like you said some of them can know or not know that they truly are or are not and if were all the avatar some of us can be diff parts of his personality. Like goofy, courageous, cruel, caring...

Also, on their quest other nations might try to interfere and kill who they believe to be the fakers and in essence try to aid they're own bender. Whether that bender will accept their aid, reject it, or have been plotting against the other benders the whole time is up to us.

We can call it... "Avatar: War of the 4 Kingdoms" Sound good? Not even saying will make it that far, just gives us something to work towards.
