The One Man Army "Platoon" Platoo10

Grade: Anyone who feels like dealing with a war-vet D+/C- mentally ill Villain.

Terry Long is an Ex - U.S. Marine, lost at war during Vietnam. He was born roughly around the Victorian period and first discovered his powers during the revolution against England. When the shot heard around the world was fired, and the colonies had to result to gorilla war tactics to defeat the British. The red coats described it as if "the savages were everywhere." Well really, there was only one and that's because he kept duplicating himself; making it appear as if they were surrounded. Years later Terry found himself fighting in WWI in the trenches, then WWII he was an entire unit that stormed the beaches of normandy. After that historic day, the US Gov started to use Terry as their secret weapon and called the metahuman soldier Codename: Platoon. Due to his ability to fill every spot in a full regiment of men. Terry was actually commonly used as a one man recon and sometimes took out entire bases by hismelf and exposed outposts. Without him, America might not be the nation it is today. Sadly, during Vietnam his entire unit of himselves was ambushed and captured. He and his duplicates were all torchered by the vietkhan for years afterwards. Wanting to get the American's secrets, especially the serum they used to give him his powers, the torcher eventually drove the man to the brink of instanity. Eventually he did escape their clutches after he one day had a duplicate dress up as one of their soldiers and escape. Then the rest of the clones commited suicide knowing only one of them needed to live to survive. The next couple of years he spent trying to get back home to America, while on the way nightmares of his life's blood stained past began to plague the soldier. Catching up with him emotionally, because no man should experience that much bloodshed and he had dealed with three generations of it. It bothered him to the point that when he got to the US and saw how much it had changed since Vietnam, he thought they had lost the war and couldn't realize that it was just over. He assumed he was now madame Liberties last hope. Platoon was now deep behind enemy lines in his own made up fantasy, but the war wasn't over, oh no, it was just beginning. He was going to give these communist bastards hell or die many times over trying.

Full Name: Terry Long
Codename: Platoon
Alias(es): "The One Man Army"
Age: 200 +
Classification: Metahuman

Hair Color: Dirty Brown
Eye Color: Grey
Height: 5'9

Powers:

Duplication & Longevity: Terry Long has the extraordinary ability to duplicate not only himself, but all small objects on his person into a virtually limitless number of clones. However, he usually will not go over the number it takes to fill a battalion. Each clone bears a different marking on it's face and will repeat once the clone dies. Every clone that is killed will dissolve after death even if the original is slain. As long as one clone of Terry Lives, he will survive. It is also for this reason that he never ages, for every time he is cloned it brings him back to the prime of his life when he first discovered his powers at the age of 25. The clones also share the knowledge of anything they see, but do not have a hive mind or communicate telepathically. Other than the fact that they mentally all retain the same knowledge of current events, they might as well be different people. Making different judgement calls at times then their counterparts, but will still operate as a unit. The clones themselves also show the ability to be able to clone themselves into multiple clones plus clothing. However, only the original can duplicate weapons as well and once the original is killed, the first clone it spawned is the next original and if that one is dead the one after that and so forth.

Experience: From serving under George Washington and fighting at the Battle of the Bulge. Platoon, has developed iron clad nerves and very good leadership skills. During his time in the army, he achieved every rank and therefore is a master battle technician. He has also served in every position, making him able to fill every role with his clones and do an average to expert level of work in the field. In addition, it makes him a natural with every machine in the air, water or land as well as weapon or machine/firearm. He also picked up many different fighting techniques from facing over 10,000 different men across the battle field in his life time in combat at some point.

Weakness:

Does not kill the unarmed or non-hostiles; if you have no means of defending yourself whether he knows you're an enemy or not he will not kill you. Operating by the armies code of ethics even through he's technically not a soldier anymore. He also refuses to fatally wound any woman or children unless those women and children are packing oozes or something and even then he'd have to think about it considerably. Basically, Long only goes for the hill when it's absolutely necessary to complete the mission.

All of his clones feel the same pain the other is feeling, meaning if one is shot they all feel the shot. However, the pain won't linger if the clone that was originally hurt dies and the pain of the wound is considerably lessened for the others.

If every version of him is killed, he himself dies.

His body stays young, but his mind has finally started deteriorating slowly but surely enhancing his condition.

Is human with no overwhelming physical attributes different from the next person.

Cannot duplicate himself with items bigger than a hand gun.

Terry cannot re-absorb the clones once they are made, so once they're out that clone will exist forever until death and may even decide to go off on it's own. Although it's unknown if there are other hims elsewhere in other parts of the world. It's highly doubtful seeing as he only loves America and if any of him were left, they would've enlisted in WWIII

Likes: America, children, patriotism, any US Military, truth, justice, equality, an honest woman every now and then

Dislikes: Vietnamese, British, French, Mexicans due to battle of Geranamo, Hitler, racists, anyone who disses the USA, Due to the disease pretty much everyone.

Equipment: Combat Knife, Rations, Revolver, any other weapons he can buy/make or get his hands on. His dog tag says his real name on back and his code name on front, oddly enough with the number clone he is at the moment. EX: Platoon #11, Platoon #1, etc...

Habits/Quirks: Commonly speaks in army slang/jargon and yells American catch phases like "For Truth, Honor & Justice" but doesn't realize that he's actually trying to detonate the statue of Liberty itself. He and his clones try to blend in with disguises even though he doesn't need to, assuming that we actually think he's in disguise and not some regular joe.

Personality: Terry Long is extremely Patriotic and believes in the American dream with a passion, but due to a mental disorder that is common in most post-war vets. He thinks the war is still going on and that were are all insurgents to him. The disorder itself poses all of us as an enemy he's fought in the past like a Axis soldier, Union soldier or a Regular. Pedestrians all look like citizens of those nations as well as our buildings. He is also constantly trying to think of ways to bring down the establishment, wanted in 46 states for acts of terrorism. Really Terry's a great guy, who has loved America since he helped fight for it back in the 1800's and has always been a model citizen and soldier, but 200 plus years of active duty can make anyone lose their mind.

Place of Origin: 13 Colonies

Fair Enough. Taken the first power gets contained somewhat, not allowing overpoweredness...
