RPG character Name: Kyte Code Name: Akunin Villain or good guy?: Evil

| Kyte Kaosu Uchiha===IDENTITY=== Full Name: Kyte Kaosu Uchiha Codename: Akunin Nickname(s): Kaosu Alias(es): Mugen Nisshoku, Kokuyouseki Kiritsukeru, Sairen Karuga, Tanner Mantel Age: 5,044 Birth date: 01-10-X024 Classification: Wolf Demon Affiliation: Chaotic Neutral (Generally Neutral, but has Evil tendencies. Neutral for short.) ===PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION=== Hair Color: White/Silver Eye Color: Kyte appears to have a rare case of heterochromia, a genetic mutation that causes the irises to be different colors. Kyte has a case in which his left eye is an emerald green, and his right a sapphire blue. Height: 6'2" Weight: 240 Other: Kyte often disguises himself in a human form, though his demonic form is already human enough. This human form has the same height and weight, but his hair becomes brown and his eyes become blue, now resembling a regular human. When Kyte wishes to switch from this human form, a black blaze envelops him, and he is then revealed within 2-4 seconds in his demon form. This change isn't very noticeable, and would require you having a clear line of sight to him to see. When he wishes to revert from the demon form to the human, the changes simply morph, taking about 1-3 seconds. The morph from human to demon is necessary for Kyte to activate his powers for now. Both morphs; human to demon and vice versa, cannot be stopped by anything; even if one were to control Kyte's mind. Kyte, when on the job (Demon form), wears a long red trenchcoat with a black wife beater underneath, along with black pants and black combat boots. He also wears a black leather holster for both of his guns behind his back, which also holds his sword through another strap near his neck. ===POWERS=== Powers: Kyte has professed in the martial arts for many years of his life, for he has realized that he cannot rely on his sword for everything (Though he is working very hard to amend that). Kyte has mastered Wushu, Kung Fu, Wing Chun, Jeet Kune Do, and Ninjutsu, and has blended them all into a style that is meant to destroy his opponents if they try to trade blows with him. Light wounds take half a minute for Kyte to heal. Medium wounds take fifteen minutes. Severe wounds take half an hour. He can heal from fatal wounds as long as he can deal with them immediately after he gets them. Fatal wounds that are unable to be dealt with will cause his body to shut down and recuperate in about an hour. The one art Kyte has been more committed to in his entire lifetime is the art of the blade. His swordsmanship has been known to, due to a combination of his demonic influence and thousands of years of experience, leave impressions on reality itself, his slashes extending a bit beyond the blade, anywhere from the tip to ten feet. His swordsmanship has also been known to be quicker than any seen by mortals. Kyte's senses are increased, especially those of scent, sight, and hearing. He has enhanced nocturnal vision, allowing him not to be totally blinded in the dark, and can see things with great detail. His scent and hearing are those of the ranges of a wolf's scent and hearing. For some reason, he is able to control his sight and hearing, but not his scent. So he can block out most of his hearing and the sharpness of his sight, but he hasn't learned to quite control his scent yet. However, he can block up his nose and mouth to stop smelling. -Sabotaging Complicated Systems Kyte can introduce chaos into complicated systems, most commonly machinery. An example. A gun, or at least a handgun, needs to retract a slide on the top of the gun so the magazine can push rounds up into the chamber. A single cartridge is loaded into the barrel. Pulling the trigger activates the striker, and the striker hits the cartridge of the bullet, igniting the gunpowder inside. This causes a very minor explosion in the compressed space, firing off the round. The empty cartridge is then ejected from the barrel. Kyte's Chaos could cause any number of complications for this system. It could cause the slide to not quite retract to where it should, preventing a round from entering into the chamber, causing a misfire in which nothing happened. It could cause the cartridge loaded into the chamber to be in a only slightly odd angle when the striker hits it, causing it to be discharged from the barrel in a wrong angle, and therefore not hitting its mark, or even causing the round to explode the barrel, ruining the gun. -Hysteria, Pandemonium, and Paranoia Kyte's Chaos can place abnormal effects on people, causing them to panic, or feel paranoid, and is known to cause riots in large amounts of exposure. Kyte can make a scene if he has to escape. ===PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE=== Likes: Blood, violence, alcohol, soda, blades. Dislikes: Anything that ticks him off, which he's usually not bothered by for long. Strengths: He's very intelligent, and is able to assess situations very quickly. He is also athletic, flexible, nimble, and strong. Weaknesses: He's very stubborn, and it takes a lot for him to back down. Kyte is known to be very arrogant, and confident in his abilities. The name "God" can cause Kyte quite a headache, and he often refers to it as the "G-Word." Silver can sear him only slightly. He'd receive nothing more than a first degree burn from it, but that's not to say every contact with it would burn him. If something were to legitimately have God's blessing, only from the Christian faith, it would be very effective against Kyte, possibly causing a flaming wound, or stalling his regeneration. Skills: Highly intuitive thinking, master swordsmanship, martial arts; Wushu, Kung Fu, Ninjutsu, Wing Chun, and Jeet Kune Do, infiltration, much knowledge of the known world due to his extensive time of existing on it, assassination, survival, and overwhelming. Equipment: Noctis, a four foot long broadsword that Kyte can wield easily in one hand, but that anyone without strength around Superman would have trouble with. It is of a magical nature, but has no innate abilities in and of itself other than it cannot break, and that barely anyone other than Kyte can wield it. Tenebrae and Lux, two modified handguns Kyte created himself. Packing enough firepower to blow small holes in concrete, he also carries a few modified rounds of his own, including incendiary and scattershot. Kyte holds Tenebrae in his right hand and Lux in his left. Lux has been specially modified to discharge shells from the left side, unlike regular handguns. - Tenebrae:
- Lux:
He has around five or six tactical knives on him at all times for the case in which he needs a weapon but doesn't have one. - Spoiler:
He also has six throwing knives and six shuriken for when he runs out of bullets. - Spoiler:
Habits/Quirks: Kyte has some odd habits and quirks, though they are not very odd to him at all (Of course). One being he has a thirst for blood. Most of his attacks with his blades will cause blood to spray; even onto him. You could consider him a kind of cannibal, if he was a human. If blood is present while in his human form, he will become uncomfortable depending on the amount. Personality: Kyte has problems with higher authorities, though he isn't blatant minded enough to disobey them if it's going to cause trouble for his false identity and his way of living. Kyte can be very attractive to woman, and is susceptible to flirting with them when he's not destroying somebody. Kyte can usually predict where a situation is going to end up, and adjust himself accordingly. If there's a bomb in the building, he's not going down the the first floor to try to get out. He's going to jump out of the window of whatever floor he's currently on and haul. Kyte sees the glass as half empty. Most people would think this a disadvantage, but it's saved his life more times than he can count. He has no problems killing someone unless, of course, he cares for them or simply doesn't want to. Kyte, however, can usually switch moods very quickly. "You can't spell "slaughter" without "laughter"", as he usually says. Kyte knows there are no true heroes, and there are also no true villains. It isn't simply black and white. It's a whole bunch of gray in between. People are fueled by motives and goals, and he accepts that. As to what his goals are...the world will just have to find out. ===PERSONAL BACKGROUND=== Family: Kyte's father, which he's never seen. When Kyte was born, his father was no longer around. The only thing he really ever inherited from Kazuma was his blood and his name; Uchiha, a play off of the Japanese word uchiwa; meaning fan. The name was inherited because the Uchiha are forgers of their own destiny; wielding the fan that can control the flames. Kyte's mother, who raised him as long as she could. She raised him happily, and he grew up to be a good kid, until she was killed by military officials for a reason yet unknown to Kyte. He since then sought out revenge against them, and that cold revenge led him to a secret school for assassination and the deadly arts. Place of Origin: Tokyo, Japan. Current City: Jump City. History: As aforementioned, Kyte joined a clan for assassination and the deadly arts. The leaders of this clan saw the cold rage burning in Kyte's heart, and decided to take advantage of it, thinking they could use it for many deeds. They were not in the least bit incorrect; Kyte excelled well in their studies, quickly rising to the top when he realized he would have to pass this crucible to move onto his mission. However, he went on one mission for the clan in the suburbs of Tokyo, along with a few other operatives. The mission turned out to be a success, but another clan working for the government happened to catch Kyte in action; observing both of his forms. Not wanting to lose a valuable operative, the clan sent Kyte to where he now is; the very same clan funding all of his expenses to keep him hidden. They pay for his hideout, and all things inside it. Kyte has been living here for quite a while while the clan tries to sort out the problems they have in Japan. Since then, Kyte has seen a bunch of "locals" around, including the tower which stands as a giant "T" out in the bay. He has also heard of many people with special abilities, and wishes to combat them, though he hasn't had the chance yet. Sample RP- Spoiler:
@Dar: Really? I thought ice did conduct electricity...though I might be trusting YahooAnswers too much. In any case, thank you, that may be a crucial factor in my roleplays for years to come. My thanks.
BIC:
Kyte watched as the same girl who had defended against Krious' last, darkness-oriented attack (Kyte still had not figured out how to transform the energy for such a feat), had pulled up an icy, rock wall. His eyes gleamed with amusement as his flames melted the wall, although, likely to all of the Titan's shock, it had managed to do much more than that. The rock wall, which had been well beyond freezing point temperature before the fire had collided with it, was now red hot, and in some places melted.
It really brought Kyte some amusement with how he could devastate forces in combat, and his velvet, black, leathery wings sprouted and expanded, but not to their full wingspan; as to have done so probably would have brought Krious some discomfort.
And that wasn't what partners were for.
Behind the wall, Kyte could hear Ben Tennyson's voice echoing, as he was "rallying the troops," or so it was called, with some information on him. His red eyes glowing, Kyte softly smiled, as if he had seen an old friend. His voice carried across the battlefield with no effort at all, being clearly heard by all of the Titans, and Krious, as well.
Ah...Benjamin Tennyson. How long it has been...I'm quite flattered you can remember me on the spot just after seeing my blades. It's quite...touching.
His voice was rich and deep, and betrayed but a bit of his power.
If it pleases you to know, you were correct: You will never overload Gekido, especially now that I have Kosei. How cleverly smart you are, though...
It was then that he heard Benjamin specifically talking to him, saying he was pompous and that only Krious would accept his attitude, also saying that he was hiding behind Krious and that he should come down there and face off with him "Like a real demon." It caused his velvet tone of voice to chuckle throughout the area.
Oh, Benjamin... With a strong flap of his wings, he caused wind to buffet around him on the ground, but he did not lift himself up. It was almost as if he had blinked. While I admire your desire for me to come play with you...it simply wouldn't be fair. I can tell your nice little watch isn't working; again, might I add, and we both know that if it were, you wouldn't need to play coy games to try to fight me. You'd be on the front lines yourself.... Besides, I only like playing our games with you and I. Three and up can be a crowd when you're trying to prove yourself...
Benjamin's words would have no effect on the now nearly emotionless Kyte.
Don't worry, though, mein freund. I will come slaughter you soon enough...I think I'll start with your friends, first, though.
He nearly smirked, an idea occurring to him. He made sure the Titans heard his next words.
How was it, by the way? Fenrisúlfr's funeral, I mean. It's a shame I couldn't be there...I had business to attend to. Did it feel good staring upon his cold, dead corpse; the same person that had once been your friend, and finding he was too weak to hold out in a fight against me? I wonder how delightful his despair was before my blades pierced his flesh and he fell into the abyss, when he realized that God had abandoned him...
Though it pained him to say it, he knew it was worth the despair. It was then that he saw something out of the corner of his eye; some human had launched razor discs at him. He judged the velocity at which they were flying, especially from this distance, and then his eyes glinted with amusement.
You're very brave, human. But I guess you didn't get to see what you were dealing with...
With that, he plunged both blades into the ground, and then spread out his hands. Not a moment later, did the blades pierce his flesh. The one that had been aimed for his nose, now that was an inconvenience. It had hurt, yes, but he was beyond pain at the moment. Nothing could beat the burning hole in his chest that would never heal. The blades sliced through his hands, too, and buried themselves in his knees. To despair them even further, he gave a heartless laugh as hot blood spilled all over him, from what would have been mortal wounds.
He proceeded to pluck the blades from his nose and knees, before retrieving his blades, hauling them over his shoulders, and then slashing down with both of them. He had hoped to not do this, since he was trying to get them to focus on Raith as a spy, but knew after Ben's rallying, they probably wouldn't even think about it. Some Titans would feel warm, nearly hot air rush over them, while others would feel a chill. No sooner than they had felt it would a roaring begin to surround them, a tornado forming right in their impromptu trench to sweep them all up, as Kyte had sent both a cold and hot current of air sweeping across them to form it.

| Okay. I like the new direction you're taking with this character. I do have a few things you'll need to address, though.
You don’t mention strength as a power, though you make reference to it under speed. If he doesn’t have it, he obviously won’t be able to wield his extremely heavy sword.
Regeneration needs to be more specific. How long does it take him to heal from medium and severe wounds. Can he heal back from mortal wounds?
Chaos needs to be better explained. It's fine if it is used in a number of ways, but we need to know what those ways are. Just like a spell list, we need to know everything he can do with this power.
Being a master of martial arts are now considered a power. You could still be a dabbler, but if he's spent thousands of years learning multiple martial arts, then that's considered a power. Something has to give to make way for that. Being the best swordsman in the world would also be a power.
For weakness, he's going to need more than stubbornness and arrogance. Being demonic, I'd imagine that holy symbols, light energy, holy water, or even fire would all be quite threatening to him. In any case, he has to be defeat-able, and stubbornness doesn't cut it.
Let me know when you've made these changes and I'll take another look.

| Strength- Ah, right. That part was supposed to be just because of the sword itself. Kind of like a sword choosing its wielder. It's like the case with Thor and his hammer, Mjolnir. Someone "worthy" can wield it, and in a crossover, Superman could lift it. I'll just edit that little tidbit into the description of Noctis.
Regeneration- Light wounds, half a minute. Medium wounds fifteen minutes. Severe wounds half an hour. He can heal from fatal wounds as long as he can deal with them immediately after he gets them. Fatal wounds that are unable to be dealt with will cause his body to shut down and recuperate in about an hour.
Chaos-
-Sabotaging Complicated Systems- Kyte can introduce chaos into complicated systems, most commonly machinery. Kyte's Chaos could cause any number of complications for this system. It could cause the cartridge loaded into the chamber to be in a only slightly odd angle when the striker hits it, causing it to be discharged from the barrel in a wrong angle, and therefore not hitting its mark, or even causing the round to explode the barrel, ruining the gun.
-Hysteria, Pandemonium, and Paranoia-
Kyte's Chaos can place abnormal effects on people, causing them to panic, or feel paranoid, and is known to cause riots in large amounts of exposure. Kyte can make a scene if he has to escape.
Weaknesses- The name "God" can cause Kyte quite a headache, and he often refers to it as the "G-Word." Silver can sear him only slightly. He'd receive nothing more than a first degree burn from it, but that's not to say every contact with it would burn him. If something were to legitimately have God's blessing, only from the Christian faith, it would cause second degree burns.

| Sorry that this is taking a while. I've been quite busy lately.
Chaos sounds okay, as long as those are the only uses for it. You also got rid of speed, which does a lot to help make him balanced. Your powers are minor enough that you can be allowed all 5 of them and still be considered balanced. However, we need to make his weakness a little stronger. He doesn't need to explode or anything, but headaches and burns aren't going to do much to Kyte when he's bashing your skull in with a sword. His regeneration power is strong, but I'm willing to approve this character if any weapon designed to take down demons actually does what it's supposed to. He can't be immune to effects that are supposed to affect evil/demonic beings.

| Making some Powers redos. Taking out Regeneration and Chaos. Kyte has developed to a point where his powers are maturing. He's realized that in situations with superhuman abilities, it's good to be able to rely on superhuman abilities of your own. Therefore, he's received the ability to turn into different demonic forms. Kita no Mu Keiro- The Demonic Path of the North. This is Kyte's usual form, from before he got his new powers. This form allows him enhanced regeneration. Wounds can heal up in seconds, depending on how severe they are. However, unless completely obliterated, it's very hard to kill Kyte in this form. When taking this form, Kyte's hair takes a shade of amber brown, and his eyes glow blood red. - Spoiler:
Nishi no Mu Keiro- The Demonic Path of the West. This form is all about the strength required to deal with beings with enhanced strength like Superman, or Darkseid. When taking this form, Kyte's hair takes a shade of blood red. - Spoiler:
Azuma Mu no Keiro- The Demonic Path of the East. This form helps Kyte react more naturally to attacks, increasing his speed by a considerable margin so he can deal with speedsters when need be. When taking this form, Kyte's hair takes a shade of midnight black. - Spoiler:
Minami no Mu Keiro- The Demonic Path of the South. This form harnesses the black flames of Hell that come forth when Kyte transforms. They are considered magic. When he transforms usually, these black flames cause no harm or significance in the human world, for they are in another realm. However, this form harnesses them as flames that can burn nearly anything, and stay ignited for as long as Kyte remains in the form of the Southern Path. When taking this form, Kyte's hair takes a shade of deep purple. - Spoiler:
Once Kyte takes a cardinal form, he can turn back into his regular human form at any time, but cannot access any path for a half hour. Zen'nō no Mu Keiro- The Demonic Path of Omnipotence. The final of Kyte's forms. In a sticky situation when fighting multiple opponents with a variable arsenal of powers, or fighting one who has it all (I.E. Superman, etc.), Kyte may take the form of Omnipotence. Despite its name, the form is nowhere near omnipotent. It is merely a combined form of all of the cardinal paths, getting all of the abilities of them, at a weaker level of each. It has about three fourths of the intensity of those powers, but due to their combination, makes them more deadly than them all. Taking the form of Omnipotence turns Kyte's hair into a shade of pale white. Once Kyte takes the form of Omnipotence, he cannot use any other form's powers for a full day. - Spoiler:
Cardinal forms last for half an hour. Omnipotence lasts for fifteen minutes. Flight- Kyte is a demon on biblical definitions, and therefore is a fallen angel. Since he is technically an angel, he has wings, and can fly. They are not present on his person until he wills them to form. EDIT: Edited to include flight, since it's become a recent issue. | |
