| Alfeo[size/]===IDENTITY=== Full Name: Alfeo Damato Codename: Demon Heart Nickname(s): N/A Alias(es): The Passed Age: Roughly 550 years old (he appears to be 17) Birth date: Between 1533 and 1542 Death Date: Between 1540 and 1559 Classification: Human-Demon Hybrid Affiliation: Good
===PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION=== Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Solid Gold (Full eye) Height: 6’ Weight: 40 ibs. Other:[/b His body is warped from his immersion in the underworld. The once human body he inhabited is now changed to combine his original human characteristics with those of a demon. He is almost emaciated, completely deprived of fat. His rib cage sticks out prominently and his stomach appears to be nonexistent. His face is gaunt and thin, but his body is covered in a layer of muscle that never degrades. A thin tail sprouts from his lower back, it’s maneuverable enough to be used as an extra limb when multitasking or to balance when making sharp turns, but not to be used as an effective weapon. The tail is the same color as the rest of his flesh. His legs are reverse jointed. His feet exhibit claws instead of toes. The claws although sharp, are not enough to pose a large danger to flesh, though they can sometimes break skin. Small black horns sprout from his head, they extend about 4 inches out and have a slight curve backwards. Although his body is morphed, it still exhibits much of the same attributes as a normal human body. He tans, although he’s pale from isolation. He bleeds although his blood is black and gives off incredible amounts of heat (close to 100 degrees Celsius). His limbs may be demonic in appearance but they are the color of human flesh Although he fights for the side of good, he is often mistaken for evil because of his demonic appearance. For this reason, he rarely goes out during the daytime. [b]Clothing: Being so unnaturally misshapen, his body can not accompany certain clothes. His shirt is a tight black T-shirt that gives his ribs even greater definition. His pants are blue jeans that reach the second pair of joints in his legs. They are ripped at the “knees” to allow free movement, as well as in the back under the belt loop to allow his tail to extend. To cover himself when he goes out in public, he wears a large black coat that reaches his knees. A black fedora covers his horns.
===POWERS===
Powers:
Demonic Powers Lightness: His actual weight is around 120 pounds. Which is still relatively heavy, but because of his size, his long coat, and his enhanced legs, he can fall from high heights and land safely. Insatiable Insomniac: He never requires food, water, or rest. That’s not to say he can’t sleep, but his body absorbs its nutrients and sustains its matter on demonic energy. He can sleep, but he does not experience dreams. This is to say that he can become exhausted, but never require sleep. Agility: his improved legs allow for quick turns and the ability to run on all four legs, a movement that would be awkward for a human, but allows Alfeo to move at speeds approaching 20 miles per hour. Immortality: This is to say, living forever if the conditions are right. Meaning that if he’s mortally wounded, he won’t just heal right up, he’ll die. But if he’s allowed to go on living naturally without any fatal inflictions to his body, he would live forever. Disease has no effect on him.
Necromancy Re-Animate: A skeleton can be brought from the ground, anywhere in the world, not just near a graveyard (the reason being that skeletons don’t remain in their graves when they’re buried, they sink down into the earth and are readily available to those who dare to bring them back). Spiritual Communication: Alfeo can talk with spirits and ask them for favors or information. They aren’t much help in a fight, but can be a nuisance.
Alchemy Transmutation: This is his most commonly used alchemical ability. Elements are broken down, mole of molecules by mole of molecules, and the electrons, protons and neutrons are magically rearranged to form different elements. This power can be used in three different ways. - Molecular Rearrangement and Structural Consistency (The elements are changed and they remain in the same shape and form unless the form of matter they are changed too causes them to shift positions. For example, a solid square of Titanium turning to a liquid square of water which then changes shape to form a puddle, also here, you see more complex forms of transmutation as one element is transmuted into two)) - Molecular Rearrangement and Structural Reformation (The elements are changed and they are arranged differently to form different shapes and structures visible to the naked eye, For instance, a circle of Magnesium is changed into a Trapezoid of Silicon) - Molecular Consistency and Structural Reformation (The elements remain the same but the structure of the target as a whole is reformed as something new. For example, a sphere of Nickel is changed into a triangle of copper) This power requires no transmutation circle except for objects larger than Alfeo himself. In these instances, all Alfeo has to do is put his hand on the object, a surge of black and gold energy will run throughout the object, creating a visible transmutation circle on the surface of the object. Transportation: Matter can be transported between two Transmutation Circles. As long as the material fits within the circle it is primarily laying on, it does not need to fit within the target circle. This power always requires a transmutation circle, no matter the size of the object.
Transmuation circles are weathered away over time by the magical energy that courses through them during alchemhy. For a circle to last infinitely, it has to be made of something that resists magical weathering (note, only magical weathering, resisting physical eathering is not a requirement). Another magical object would work as it is already magically charged, flesh works as well (people are magically charged, only some learn how to unlock their potential) and tattoos are common transmutation tools. Chalk however dissipates after a certain amount of uses depending on two factors: 1.How much chalk is laid down in relation to the size of the object being transmuted. 2.The size of the object being transmuted in relation to the size of the circle (not the chalk).
There are three rules that Alchemy follows. 1. The Law of Conservation of Matter, matter can not be created or destroyed. If you start with 13 grams of one element, you will either end with 13 grams of the same element or 13 grams of a different element. Each element will differ in its density; so one element may take up 16 square feet of space for 3 pounds, while the other takes only 1 square foot for the equivalent amount. 2. The Law of Conservation of Energy, energy cannot be created or destroyed. If you wish to perform a transmutation, the energy for the alchemy must come from somewhere. (Alfeo commonly uses solar or geothermic energy to power his spells, but he is not exempt from using his own life energy, although this tires him considerably and has, on one occation, removed him from the mortal world). Artifacts imbued with magical energy cannot be recreated by magical means, only naturally can they be made. Herbs can be grown, but not transmuted. For instance, Roseblood, an herb filled with dangerous magical potential can be created by alchemy but it will be lacking any magic power. 3. Life cannot be created purely from Alchemy. The body or shell of an animal or human can be constructed from a complex combination of elements, but the animal will remain exempt of life. It is lacking a soul to power the body.
Magick (Other Spells unrelated to Alchemy or Necromancy) Illusion: false realities can be woven around areas of space and animated to Alfeo’s will. This power can be maintained for almost 10 minutes and can extend up to disguising an object the size of a small car (although he finds it more fun to simply Transmute it into something new). The most common use for this ability is in the disguise of his unnatural body parts, his tail and legs can be made invisible and his coat and jeans can appear to be normal and whole. But this only extends to appearances, so people could still feel his tail even if they can’t see it. This spell requires concentration to maintain, so walking is permitted. But an illusion cannot be maintained during combat as Alfeo will have to be too focused on the fight.

===PERSONAL BACKGROUND===
Family: Mother and Father, both deceased (both deceased around . Place of Origin: Florence, Italy History: A romantic of the Renaissance age, Alfeo Damato was an aspiring mage who fell in love with the scientific art of Alchemy. At the age of 14 he performed his first Transmutation on a small broken toy and was immediately regarded as a magician through out Florence. Alfeo always enjoyed helping others and his Alchemical genius allowed him to solve many difficult problems. As he aged, his Alchemical feats became more and more impressive, until he restored the Sistine Chapel to its original paintjob at the age of 17. This feat earned him the admiration of men and the love of women all through the Italian states. One girl in specific caught his attention however, her name was Annalisa Erminia, and she was madly in love with him as well. In secret they were married and would have lived in the swamps near Venice, unnoticed and happy, if not for the English Man. John Dee was an English Alchemist loyal to Queen Elizabeth. Skilled in the regions of Divination, Astrology and Necromancy, Dee believed himself to be the greatest Alchemist in the world. Hearing claims of an even greater alchemist in the Italian Peninsula, Dee traveled south to seek out the alchemical prodigy and learn of him his tricks, believing him to have cheated in repairing the Sistine Chapel. Dee thought that the Italian boy was a fraud and desired to restore his name as the top alchemist. On the way, Dee encountered a young girl. In a quarrel with her on the subject of Alfeo’s alchemical skill, Dee slew the girl and flew back to England, unknowingly leaving Alfeo’s love shattered, for the girl he had killed was none other than Annalisa. Enraged by this turn of events and at the loss of his love, Alfeo turned his Alchemical talent towards a darker branch of Magic: Necromancy. Using Alchemy to reconstruct a body for Annalisa, he ventured out into the world, seeking her spirit so that he could restore it to her makeshift body. Finding the soul he believed to be hers, Alfeo transmuted it into her body. Unfortunately, his attempt backfired. As Alfeo tried to replace a life he had to forfeit an equivalent amount of energy, meaning his own life. However, when he felt his life energy leaving his body, Alfeo attempted to end the Transmutation. This, however, was not allowed. Alfeo was transported to hell where he spent a century being punished for his attempt to defy the laws of Alchemy, his body was mutilated to demonic proportions. And he was sent back to the Mortal world to live out his life devoid of his love. When he returned to Florence however, he was greeted coldly. For his dabbling in the Dark art of Necromancy, Alfeo was exiled from the Magical community and banished henceforth from the land of Europe. His choices were to head East, to settle in the Middle East or Asia, South to live within the multiple climates of the African Continent, or West to the recently colonized Americas. Alfeo selected west, for the privacy of such a new continent would allow him to hide his disfigurement from the world more effectively. He has lived in secret under a large polluted lake outside of what is now Steel City.
Sample RP Alfeo stood and sighed. He had spent the last ten minutes searching his laboratory for Blightleaf, an herb that caused either death or life depending on the condition of the person it is administered too, as well as the state of the herb. He had planned to make a potion that would heal any wound for the homeless of Steel City, a large village of twisted metal stretched out over miles. It was only for use on the injured, so he would give it only to those in need of it, otherwise the healthy would kill themselves trying to use it. But there was none in his study. Running through a door to his left next to a table of burners and flasks, Alfeo entered his storeroom and jumped onto the ladder. The storeroom was a circular chamber about 10 feet wide that stretched up 40 feet to the basin of the lake over it. The room was separated into three by overhanging wooden decks built at 10 ft. intervals up the walls. Three ladders were stacked on top of each overhang and attached to tracks on the floor and roof or bottom and top o each deck. Wheels on the bottom and top of the ladders allowed Alfeo to climb vertically but move around the circle of shelves freely. When he reached the storage shelf for Blightleaf, he realized it was empty. A note in his own scrawling read
Note: fetch Blightleaf from Amelia’s shop in the upper district, urgent. 12/06/92 Almost 20 years ago… He thought to himself in despair. Releasing the ladder, he fell to the floor 25 feet below, immediately coming out of the drop into a brisk walk. Exiting the storeroom, he checked his sword and made sure it was standing on top of the transmutation circle that created a gateway to the one on his hand. I suppose I’m going out. He sighed. Walking for the tunnel that lead outside. As he walked, he began focusing on his deformed legs, creating the illusion of natural human limbs in place of his demonic replacements. 20 feet later, his path ended at a rock wall cutting people off from his little world, Only to him or a magician who manipulated earth (which he had met many of) was it an entrance. Placing his hand on the wall, he sent out a wave of energy and a transmutation circle appeared on it in golden light, outlined in black energy. With a shudder, the rock grew smaller and smaller as the elements it was composed of were transmuted into oxygen. Alfeo’s ears began to pressurize as the excess oxygen filled the tunnel and his laboratory, rustling papers behind him. Fortunately, the tunnel was deep enough that when the wall finally cleared away, the vacuum inside depressurized with little impact on his inner sanctum. Walking outside the tunnel, he stood under an outcrop of earth that served to keep rain off of his ‘doorstep.’ Putting his arm out again, he sent a wave of energy into the tunnel and a floating transmutation circle appeared in the air. In an instant, the rock wall had reformed and his doorway looked like a piece of the landscape next to the lake. He walked towards Steel City, praying he wouldn’t get shot again. The last bullet wound took so long to heal up.
And yes Simca, I know, Please tell me if you find any runic looking 2 sword that moves to its own page displaying the picture and it isn't 500 pixels wide. And what display are you using that makes the site stretched?
