"The Order of the Throne has three objectives; The eradication of all forms of the unnatural. The perseverance and ascension of all mankind. And the pursuit of the Throne of the Almighty." - The Gospel, Chapter VII, Verse XI

THE HIERARCHY
The Hierarchy are divided into groups 2 groups of 3; the saints each reside in a different district of Jump City and the Brothers and Sisters each reside in different districts of Steel City. There is 7 seats total in the Hierarchy but the last seat has been vacant for centuries. However, the Gospel tells of the day when the final disciple, the Heir to the Throne shall appear;

THE CRUSADERS
The Sacred Order of the Throne (NPC Villains Open For Use) Richard-the-Lionheart

Bishops
Bishops are the next step for Apostles who have steeled their faith and resolve in the Order. Bishops are warriors able to perform at high physical levels and can hunt, assassinate, as well coordinate assault and stealth missions. These crusaders are gifted with technologically advanced armor and weaponry that mimics the age and time the world is currently in. Don't be surprised if one of these disciples whips out an energy sword and while preforming kung-fu moves. While highly trained and highly skilled these disciples are rare and usually reserved for tactical missions while the Apostles are used to swarm and perform full frontal assaults.
Spoiler:

Priests
These are the trainers of the disciples of the Order. Their main function is to instill the knowledge of the doctrine, combat skills, and resolve necessary to graduate the Apostles into Bishops. Although they are men of the cloth don't think they're pushovers. Each Priest is a highly trained combat master. Anyone storming their facility with the thought of just ripping through Apostles in bunches will also have to deal with these made men and women. The harsh training regimen and mental programming the disciples endure at the hands of these holy men will leave scars deeper than any physical wound ever will. You know you're in for a rough time when you fear what your priest might do to you more than a meta-human with heat vision.
Spoiler:

Apostles
The foot soldiers of the Order. Apostles are numerous and armed with regular body armor and blunt weaponry. Although some are skilled, many are new to the order and don't yet have the will, skill, or knowledge to stand up to supernatural threats unless a seat of the Hierarchy is leading them. Apostles come in two flavors Steel City blood red and Jump City pure white and maroon.

Powers: N/A - All abilities are a result of The Order's weaponry, training, and equipment.

Weaknesses: All disciples of The Order are human. No augmentations of any kind. By their Gospel's standards only humans can be disciples of the seat of power's teachings.

Skills/Strengths: Each disciple of ToT is extensively trained in whatever classification they are in. Whether that be in doctrine or as a warrior. The higher the rank usually indicates the higher the skill and knowledge they possess in their particular area of expertise. The lower the rank the less personality they have. Low rank warriors usually just yell simple phrases from their gospel and follow orders. Higher ranking warriors are usually able to think for themselves and make more capable decisions on their own with high ranking officials usually boasting high intelligence, cunning, and skill.

Equipment: The higher the rank the more useful their equipment. The lowest ranking warriors usually only carry typical S.W.A.T. level body armor styled as knight's gear. While mid-ranked warriors will have some high-tech armor and weaponry followed by high ranking officers carrying mythical and sometimes extremely cutting edge weaponry and armor.

___________________

Habits/Quirks: When rallying Disciples of ToT will universally chant "No Ash! No Bone! For the Glory and the Throne!"

Disciples of ToT as a formal way of addressing each other will say "Praise Be..." before sentences and introductions. Even when undercover, disciples of ToT will accidentally say this when addressing others.

Disciples of ToT all carry a tiny black book with a throne image on it called "THE GOSPEL:"

When praying or reciting doctrine from "the Gospel" disciples of ToT will TENT their hands:
Spoiler:

When captured or defeated disciples of ToT will drop to their knees if possible and tent their hands and begin to recite the Gospel from beginning to end and will continue to do-so over and over again. They will stop to perform normal bodily functions or if they feel they are able to escape or break free they will do so but if unable to attain freedom from captivity or are being monitored they will continue to pray on their knees with their hands tented. Even if they are restrained they will recite the Gospel and if gagged they will mumble or murmur it.

When addressing the Hierarchy disciples of ToT will take a knee and tent their hands when addressing their superiors with title first (Monarch/Archbishop/Cardinal) until given permission to relax and after given permission to relax will continue to report to them with surnames (Saint/Brother/Sister).

Some disciples of ToT will have tattoos of their Gospel insignia somewhere on their person.

Place of Origin: Global Scale Faction(s) with over 50,000 disciples world wide.

Jump City = The Church (CoT) - Large church with beautiful acres of land and a huge unseen underground facility filled with disciples in training.

Steel City = The Brotherhood (BoT) - Multiple nursing homes, orphanages, community service centers all as fronts for covert operation centers for the brotherhood's disciples to congregate at.

History: The Order of the Throne was created over 1000 years ago by the 7th chair of the Hierarchy, the Heir to the Throne. However this individual disappeared and left behind a Gospel that has been handed down for centuries as the other disciples of the Hierarchy continued to grow the Order under the Gospel's teachings. The Gospel told of the Heir's adventures and spoke of legendary weapons and technologies long lost and where to find them. The Order spent the next millennia collecting these artifacts and building it's following world wide while purging the world of all those that the Order felt were impure.

The Gospel left behind by the Heir states that mankind was given the world of Earth by the one who created life. The world belongs to man and exists for his salvation. The creator of all things made man and women in his image and bestowed in mankind honor, courage, and love for their fellow man and lastly gave mankind dominion over the creatures on Earth. The Gospel goes on to state that the creator of man watched over mankind in the world's early stages from his throne. From his throne he guided man and averted natural disasters with a flick of the wrist and terraformed the Earth so early man could grow crops and raise livestock. When man was threatened by creatures from beyond and beings with the power to wield the elements against man the creator smote them from the seat of the throne with his holy weapon and then created weapons for man to defend themselves. And with the creator's divine blessing mankind flourished and spread throughout the lands creating society as we know it.

The practitioners of the dark arts and creatures from beyond were jealous the creator favored mankind and conspired against man. The dark forces of the other realms sought to bring an army from every corner of the conceivable known universe to snuff out mankind once and for all. The creator able to see everything from his throne sacrificed his eternal life to create a barrier through the dimensions that sealed away all manner of evil from freely entering the world of man. However after many centuries at peace the creator's barrier will from time to time grow weak and creatures from beyond are able to slip through from their realm and wreak havoc.

But the creator left mankind a gift; his only heir and a great weapon to slay all manner of creature that would seek to cause harm upon mankind in the creator's absence. The Heir then formed the Order of the Throne to honor the creator and help keep order throughout the lands. However with the Heir of the Throne missing for over 1000 years now super-powered beings, demons, mages, and all sorts of half beast and elemental users ran amok the globe with power unchecked, growing stronger and more numerous by the moment. The only hope the Order saw now to restore balance was to find the Throne that the creator once sat and watched all of eternity from. Any man who took the seat would have the power to reshape the world in the way he saw fit. Thus is the mission of the Order. To restore balance to the world the Order would take possession of this Almighty Throne and purge the world of vile creatures once and for all.
