The Return of Slade! (Open to Titans & Villains)

Fenrir was laughing alongside Ben as they walked to the training chamber. He always liked to visit every now and then. The pancakes had been a delicious way to start the morning, as well.

This is my first time in the actual training room. Well, I mean, as myself right now. I hope it's a good expe-

The power went out, and then the lights came back on, revealing the training room to be full of ninja...but they looked robotic. The one known as Deathstroke introduced himself, saying he hadn't had the pleasure of meeting all of them, an example of which Fenrir was a part of, and said he was an old friend.

That was when all of his cyborg lackeys, including the ones in the hallway (Which Fenrir had just now noticed), pulled out pistols. Deathstroke said they should get better acquainted. Fenrir looked incredulously and aggravatingly towards Ben.

ONLY in Jump City, I swear...

He looked towards Deathstroke.

Old friend, huh? Then why do I get the feeling that those aren't squirt guns?

He quickly drew his sword.

Ben, I'm out of the loop on this one...who is this guy?

Metamorphi awoke one morning and sniffed the air *Sigh* Waffles, this means that their`s already no food for me he yawned and stepped out of bed, he walked into the training room, saw Deathstroke and the robot army, maked sure he wasn`t dreaming, checked the ingredients of the drink he had yesterday and poked one of the cyborg ninja`s. He grew serious and sent a punch to Deathstrokes head.

Jinx felt the worry start to set in right about the time all the lights went out.

She'd stayed up most of the night before trying to decide whether or not to take See-More up on his offer; once she'd finally decided yes, See-More hadn't been there (wimped out, most probably) and she'd been tagging along with Slade (Deathstroke, now). Of course, she hadn't know he'd be here, and her eyes had gone as big as saucers. He'd laughed, and told her he remembered her, and filled her in on this plan, and she'd assured him she was going to stick with it this time, blah blah blah. The problem was, now she was scared.

Before, when she'd been a straight up bad guy, she'd known where to draw the lines. Now, she wasn't sure what she was, and people and experiences had further warped her view. Now, this was Deathstroke's game. And she was going to have to play it, even if she was regretting it. Or was she? Even as her boots left solemn, long, ringing notes through this empty corridor, she remembered when her old team had taken this place, however briefly, and she realised that Deathstroke's mission wasn't too farfetched. Not at all. She chewed her lip. She wasn't the only small time crook in Deathstroke's entourage, but she didn't know the others very well. So here she was. And she knew Deathstroke would know if she slipped up.

And he wasn't called Deathstroke for nothing. She swallowed.

"Come out, come out, wherever you are!" she called, getting antsy now. One door slid open to reveal nothing. Another. And this one looked like some kind of study. A souvenir room. Where was everybody?

Virgil yawned awake, stretching and heading for the shower, forcing himself to get dressed. He was planning to eat his weight in waffles and play more video games than was healthy for him today. He thought it was a good plan. He was emerging from his room when he realised something was wrong,

The lights were out. He clicked his fingers, a few sparks arcing back and forth and lighting his surroundings, if only the slightest bit. "Hey! Guys! Really funny!" he called, his voice echoing down the hallway. No one responded. His eyes were barely adjusting to the dark. Then, Deathstroke's voice rang through the building, and Virgil used a very choice level of swear words as he ran back into his room, finding his mask and placing it on his face. Just in case. Just in case.

He ran back out into the hallway, the sparks from his fingers catching on what looked to be metal. He frowned, before a sudden impact knocked the breath from him, and he went flying down the dark hallway, the place pitch black momentarily. He felt his back make impact with the wall, and he knew there was something here. He stood, increasing the electricity, but only slightly, trying to save as much energy as possible.

He ducked another attack, sending a few bright arcs of electricity at the thing. The brief spout of light illuminated at least 20 odd super-charged cyborgs, and he couldn't help but let out a low whistle.

"Sweet," he stated, getting knocked around again. "Not so sweet!" he called out, slightly louder. He wanted to blast these things, but they moved so quickly it was hard to strike. He was finding it hard to concentrate (he was hungry and his energy levels weren't as high as he'd like), and he swore, finally bringing down one of the things. Then, he did what he thought would be the best idea.

Find everyone else.

He grabbed his disc and zoomed through the tower, remembering delayed about the simulator. He smacked his face, zooming there. The doors were still open, and he stumbled through as they slammed shut. And that was Deathstroke

"I think we have a problem."

Deathstroke spoke to Fenrir directly, and specifically called him an angel, which almost made Fenrir drop his sword. He knows?!

Metamorphi charged forward at Deathstroke. Meta, wait- Too late. He ran forward, getting intercepted by Deathstroke as if it was the easiest thing he had ever done. It seemed Deathstroke had some kind of grudge against children being made into superheroes. He said that the generation preceding them was just lucky, because they had Robin. He also called them undisciplined, unguided, and sloppy. Fenrir laughed.

Deathstroke launched Metamorphi at him. A wingbeat later, he had caught him with ease, putting him down; he knew he didn't like to be saved. Ben said they should roll out the Titans welcoming carpet.

Ben, I couldn't agree with you more. Let's do it.

Toji and Rex instantly went into action, as did Fenrir and Ben, Ben turning into Rath. Virgil joined them from the hallway. As Ben sprang forward, Fenrir beat his wings, launching forward and keeping pace with Ben, helping keep bots off of him. Rath took the lead, however, and was knocked back by four roboninjas. Fenrir took the opportunity to attempt to cut them in half, simultaneously launching a holy blast at Deathstroke.

Sorry for being so sloppy with the welcoming committee, Slade, Fenrir said mockingly. Here's a gift.

Black Jack sighed as he pulled into the Titans garage and parked his bike coming off patrol. Cracking his neck and walking into the tower the scent of Ben's legendary waffles made his mouth water. However, as he entered, somehting in the air told him there was trouble. The sound of voices he didn't recognize was bad enough, but the sound of clicking guns was all he needed to know somehting was off as he entered the kitchen from behind Daethstroke and his machines. Listening to the talking and waiting for the right moment a she drew cards from his deck and held them in his fingers, Black Jack watched as Ben, Virgil, and Fenrir went into action before clearing his throat loudly.

"Well, well well Mr. Deathstroke, it seems you got me at a bad time. I'm tired, hungry, and very cranky. But I suppose smashing your toys will help me vent eh?" he said as he threw his cards at the robots and struck thier guns. All the cards hit the guns and caused small explosions in the hands of the robots, before Black Jack outstretche dhis hands and caused a shield of cards to fly around his body at fast speeds. "Never anger the fighting Irish eh boys" he called out to his friends as he prepared for battle with the other Titans.

Julie had wanted to sleep in, but her lovers appetite had awoken her so she had comforted herself with the thought of a granola bar. Though it seemed her plans had been canceled.
Pressing her wristband to activate her supersuit she glanced at Ben to see him going Rath and being kicked back by the robots.

"Oh. Hell. No. You did NOT just touch my fiancé." With a sonic scream to shorten any circuits possible she could she continued the vocal assault before actually engaging combat...only to be flung into a wall a few minutes later. Luckily she managed to turn around mid flight abd pushed off the wall with her feet, doing a roll in the air and landing a good kick.

Metamorphi struggled to get free, his face was red, then he saw the foot and became Steel, for some reason though he was still sent flying. He was about to become paper and regain his footing when Fenrir caught him Don`t do that, that would of been a tickle anyway! Metamorphi held his stomach, this guy had a strong kick. He ran back at Deathstroke Sloppy? That may be true for my teammates *cough* Ben *cough*, but it is completely false for me! he sent forward 10 punches with expert precision, showing his training.

Jinx was satisified that the coast was clear; Deathstroke had wanted all of the Titans in one place. She made her way to the rendevouz point, which was emanating signs of a fight. She went to place a hand on the door, then hesitated; she could leave, now...

The doors slid open, as though they knew she was there, and she made herself cross the thresh hold, the doors slamming shut behind her. "They're all here, Deathstroke," she made herself say, but the words died as they passed her lips; a fight had already broken out, and she was expected to do her part. In doing so, she narrowly avoided a fist to her face; it was a Titan girl, the one she'd seen in newspapers with Ben. She swallowed, parrying the punch and her hands glowing pink.

"This is going to be fun," she drawled, trying to force herself back in to the character she'd long since abandoned, throwing a pink ball of energy at Capricious.

Virgil swerved out of the way of another cyborg. The main problem was Deathstroke, and he was whooping everyone's butts at that point. He tried to summon more power, but all that came was weak sparks, and Virgil shook his hands, swearing. There was a cyborg lying on the floor and sparking. Someone had taken it down, and he dove for it, placing his hands on the sparks and absorbing any electricity left inside. He grinned as power surged through his body again, summoning a ball of electricity and aiming it at Deathstroke.

He let it fly, but Deathstroke's reaction time was not normal, even for a meta. He could only hope this would at least leave a small mark.

"Team work, guys, team work!" he called, though he knew at this point, people probably would not listen to him.

The energy hit her hard and she fell back with a small groan. Looking up she saw...Jinx! But..she didn't recognize her, they had met when Julie still had a secret identity! But she no longer donned a mask.
"Jinx!" she ducked an attack and ripped the chain from her neck as it turned into a whip that she cracked in the air.

"It's me-" she cracked the whip against a robot effectively and sidestepped another attack, moving into a niche in the hallway so it was her and Jinx.

"It's me, Julie, we shopped together? Had a pizza? Why are you doing this? Don't make me do this..." The Titan didn't want to hit her with a sonic boom or her illusionistic nightmares so she did something else instead. Delving into Jinx's head she made her see a different reality, there were no noises of the fight, no evidence of it. All she'd be able to see was a white space that seemed to go on forever. And before her stood only Julie.

"Jinx." Julies voice would seem booming, echoing in the infinity. "What did you do?"

Jinx grimaced as the other girl hit the floor. She wasn't sure exactly what Deathstroke would expect her to do, now that she was here, fighting Titans...

Capricious was back on her feet, and Jinx was listening to the girl trying to reason with her, as Jinx ducked a low flying robot - courtesy of Static, who was preoccupied for the moment with a few robots. They transitioned to a quieter area, and Jinx's resolve wavered as realisation came crashing down on her.

"Crap! Julie..." she muttered, her hands dropping to her sides. Quickly, the world around her phased to white, and Jinx's pink eyes widened as she turned around, finding white every where. She couldn't help but flinch as Julie's voice seemed to accuse her, and she avoided the question.

"Where are we?" she asked, and then she locked eyes with Julie. "I'm sorry, okay? Being the bad guy is the only thing I know how to do."

Static though he'd been doing so well, until his own attack hit his team mate. He groaned, sending one robot crashing into another.

"Oh man. Oh man, oh man, oh man," he muttered to himself. He began to hover, his mind working in over time. His powers would not work if he tried to help Ben right now - he'd just electrocute Ben at the same time. He'd already caused enough damage, and as he watched the chaos unfold around him, he started to feel less and less comfortable with this. "Sorry!" he called at Metamorphi.

"Black Jack! Fen!" he called, "Help Ben! Everyone else, help me! Everyone has a weakness. Even this guy," he said, his voice dropping to a mutter as he zoomed nearer the main huddle of his allies. "We just have to find it."
