"Requesting mission parameters."
Cerberus Tactical Squad Kyle-martin-shot3

Basic Information

Paramilitary group originally affiliated with the Private Security and contractor "Vigilance" before allegedly going rogue when the company fell under suspicion. Prior to this, Cerberus has established itself as a highly efficient and deadly precision strike team of Nine fully trained and equipped commandos. Details on their deployments aswell as their employers are not known, however rumors regarding their employment by the United States, "rebellious" groups and other undesirables are not completely unknown to those within the know. They do not have a spotless record of success, however Cerberus Operatives have never been officially confirmed killed or apprehended, choosing to live and get paid another day rather than face a certain death. Cerberus operatives have also been known to employ mercenaries to further increase their own survivability.

It is unknown who these guns for hire are off dutty. However it can be assumed by the fact none of them have been found yet that each member is competent enough to avoid detection until they heed the call of duty.

Personal Information
Threat Level: Collectively S, each individual cell A-, and each individual member B

Tactical Information

  • Einherjar Articulated Power Armor: A sophisticated all-purpose suit of "medium-weight" power armor, designed to fill a variety of ever changing roles or needs of the user, and only outclassed by more "specialized" power armors like those of Adonis and Elisabeth. Prior to any modifications made by the user, all base models come standardly equipped with an air filtration oxygene mask which primarily eliminates dangerous airborne toxic or poisonous gases; it also enables the user to remain underwater for an extended period of time without being tailored for aquatic missions. Each base armor also comes equipped with a hardened communication radio designed to primarily operate reliably between each cell member, even through jamming or interference. Per the user's needs, the suits can come equipped with Nightvision, thermal, ultraviolet or infared visions.

The suit provides superior protection against conventional street weapons or close quarters weapons, also able to withstand prolonged gunfire from military grade weaponry outside explosives or .50cal rifles. Small personnel explosives like frag grenades are likewise less effective overall. It's also offers the user resistance against the elements, varying per the user's needs in the field but fire or electricity is typically the norm.

Excluding the aforementioned outliers, these armors grant the user "superhuman" feats of strength and enhanced agility. They are able to easily flip over your typical car, and likewise keep pace with one on foot. Another indirect advantage of this armor is that one can only be used by someone who has undergone sufficient surgery to incorporate becoming hardwired into the armor. That is currently the only way which a user may effectively use it as a second skin.

  • Portable Generator: Each EAPA suit comes equipped with a portable generator which feeds the suit with the power it needs to function, typically located on the backs the base models. Due to the importance of these generators, their casings are especially hardened to withstand EMP or external attack- unintentionally making it more difficult to damage an EAPA through the back.

  • Chimera Arsenal Weapon: Also referred to as, "The Chimera Weapons Platform" for it's ability to fill the various weapon roles, this weapon is a testiment to it being worth more than the sum of it's parts. What this weapon lacks in subtlety or looks, it makes up for in versatility. The base model is designed to make use of conventional munitions, and it's primary role is that of a "heavy" chaingun akin to most military LMGs with the capability of different firing modes that can be changed on the fly. The base model can also be equipped with attachments to further refine it's role. Need something to dissuade close quarters combat? Attach a tank of napalm and you have a flamer. Need to take out a high priority target from a great distance? Add the long barrel and scope and change the firing mode to single fire. Need to take out a light vehicle with attackers? Attach the mini-grenade launcher and let it loose! Or do you need to lay waste to just about everyone on the battlefield and need enough bullets? The base EAPA comes pre-equipped with a compartment to store belts of bullets!

-Loadouts for the Cell in Jump-
    • Thrusters: CHEP Members come equipped with "jump jets" installed in different locations of their armor, granting them greater maneuverability in all directions. When used in this manner, the user can quickly move up to an additional 100mph in any direction of their choosing using a quick burst. CHEP members can additionally in a very limited capacity "fly" but due to risk of overheating, members are ill-advised to do more than "super jump" across rooftops.

    • Portable Force Shield Generator: A sophisticated deployable which as the name implies, creates a barrier when deployed. Once deployed, a person sized "wall" of repulsive electromagnet energy emerges from the device. Mostly used for prolonged firefights, these barriers can also effectively be used to block off potential escape routes, or simply make it harder for determined attackers to approach CHEP's location. The barrier itself actually diverts force evenly across itself, rather than simply obstructing a ranged attack's path. Able to redirect up to 10 tons of force.

CHEP Members don't have any overly fancy or complex modifcations to their Chimeras, though are capable of utilizing nonlethal (or as nonlethal as a merc group leans) methods to deal with targets, in particular tear gas, electro darts, capture nets, etc.

  • EAPA-C: Specially designed, "light-weight" variants of the standard Einherjar Articulated Power Armor. Lacking the raw, awesome power of the armor worn by the CFOP, and lacking the versatility of the standard EAPA suits, the C- or "Chameleon" variant compensates for that with an impressive cloaking field which mostly hides the wearer from sight. It also partially hides the wearer from thermal vision so long as they remain still, and the only times the cloaking fails is through sudden kinetic exertion or disturbance usually associated with moving too quickly, or firing a weapon with the latter completely breaking stealth. The wearer can still be harder to detect even with the "shimmer" effect caused when moving too quickly, but only to the naked eye.

Able to withstand prolonged small arms fire, but is in no way durable enough for direct combat. Like with the other armors in the series, the hardest part of the suit is infact the small power generator in the back- which is more capable of withstanding military firearms.

  • Argus Mask: Upgraded versions of the EAPA standard multi-purpose face masks, with the only added difference being that a CCDP also has access to X-ray vision, and can zoom in without the need of a scope for even more accurate shots from greater distances.

  • Tactical Drone: Typically operated from a CCDP member from a temporary base of operations to watch the back of operatives in the field, this flying drone also comes standardly equipped with its own cloaking device that functions in much the same way as the armor worn by the CCDP. Depending on what is needed, the drone can be equipped or customized with a variety of different features dependant on what its users need.

  • Armaments: Unlike their more simplistic and direct compatriots, The CCDP are geared more towards creating civil unrest, or exploiting it in a variety of ways. All members are trained and accomplished marksman, and prefer indirectly dealing with targets from a distance. Likewise their gear is selected to aid in quickly crippling opponents they cannot hope to beat, giving them a chance to retreat back into the shadows and escape. They are also accomplished hackers, and can with their equipment jam communications amongst hostile forces, or sending false orders to create as much chaos and disarray in enemy ranks as possible for whatever side they were hired by...
