Hearing the sound of an incoming vehicle, Alond'r looked to see Pacific had arrived. Letting out a small breath of relief, he glanced down when it was said that Alexander would be alright. Slowly, he put his comrade back down before following after Pacific. Spherical orbs of green energy appeared over his hands as he entered the building with his comrade. The floor was clear, but when it was time to go downstairs, it was clear that there was still someone hostile down there. With a quick shot to the head from Pacific, the lifeless body hit the floor. Taking a life would be questionable to some, but the man stood in front of the team and the kids, and certain actions had to be taken.
Watching Pacific open the box, Alond'r grew wide-eyed at the unconscious child within. That meant that all of the other boxes that littered the room could have contained children as well. It wasn't safe here for them; it was a battleground, and collateral damage was most certainly real. They had to get the children out -- fast.
Soon, they were joined by Alexander, just as a door creaked open. A claw had somehow exited the darkness, penetrating the male, and then throwing him across the room. Even if Alexander was immune to death, Alond'r still wasn't comfortable seeing his teammate cast across the room like a ragdoll. But as much as it pained him, he had to trust his comrade, and see to it that the children were safe first.
"We have to move quickly." Alond'r pushed the boxes that held the children towards the exit, making sure there was enough distance between them and the monstrosity that was in combat with Alexander.
