We Godless Few (OPEN)

The bustle of Jump never stops, not for anyone. It didn't stop when the alarm on the jewelry store rang as the masked robbers cracked the glass of the displays. It didn't stop when the owner took a .45 to the face. It didn't even pause when the valiant boy tried to fend off the criminal only to receive a bullet to the gut in return. That's because the city of Jump never rests. The city of Jump never sleeps.

When the gunshot rang, the masked man sighed. His name was Tony, he was 34 years old and a red head. In his left he held a gun still smoking from the bullet that left it's grasp. In his right he held diamond, cubic zirconium, and other gems of various value in a brown bag. He looked at the boy he shot and turned. He didn't have time to worry or care about the young boy whose life he ended. If he did he'd be stuck thinking it over for the rest of what one could call a life. No, instead Tony needed to get out of here.

Looking over to his comrades he would motion for them to get to the car. "We've wasted enough time here. The cops are on their way!" They ran, their feet clapping on the concrete as if to give their deed a standing ovation. The driver pressed on the gas and the car began to peel off. Looking back Tony didn't see any cops following them.

Maybe they were gonna get away with this.

ren saw the masked men peel out of jewelryy store after hearing two gunshots cursing to himself he threw away his coffie hoped on his bike and started trailing the car

Of course things are never quite that easy. The car weaved through traffic, like a needle through fabric. The gang looked around as each of them removed their masks. They had done it. Tony laughed. "We did it, and it was so easy." Another one, a black haired man smiled, "We didn't even need to-"

"Someone is following us." Another one said. The three men looked back to see that someone was indeed following them. On a bike no less. Tony frowned and tapped on the window. As the window went down a gun would poke out from the window. With it pointed at the man riding behind the car, a flurry of bullets would begin to fire at Ren.

ren turned on his titan skin as the bullets impacted his skin letting out a chuckle ren yelled "ya picked the wrong day to be a criminal " ren used one hand to drive as he pulled his suppressed five senven and shot out the tires in the back of the car waiting for the driver to lose control

As the back tires blew out, the crew could feel the shift in the car. The back of the car began to sway side to side. The driver could only curse at his misfortune. Though this was far from over, this wasn't the first time he had a double blow-out on the run. He'd be damned if it was going to be his last. Still, it was obvious that they weren't gonna be able to make any turns soon and the car was gonna be losing speed fast. The driver looked over at the rest of the gang and simply said,

"Brace yourselves."

The rest of the gang took heed in this man's advice. As well they should, especially since the car didn't stop. It barreled forward down the street, ignoring red lights and traffic. Only thing the driver could do was let the car keep going straight and not crash and burn.

"****, couldn't he at least given us a better car?" One of the formerly masked men asked.

"Nah, remember? all this is off book." Tony said, pulling the gun back into the car. "Besides the guy out there is one of those freaks. Bullets ain't working."

"Well ain't that quaint. Well bout time for us to vault ain't it." The driver said.

With that the four robbers would jump out of the car. The car would smack into the curb before flying into one of the shops. Looking up Tony scratched his chin. "Yo... was that place empty, right?" He looked over at the driver and the man shrugged.

Tony would sigh and then look over in the direction of where the man who was following them would come from. That is if he didn't get blindsided while trying to follow them.

ren dodged in and out of traffic as the car did when they jumped he pulled off to the side of the road giving them a false security before shooting one of the thugs between the eyes with his handgun
"dead center "

Tony looked up as the sound of a gunshot rained through his ears. Quickly getting to his feet, he noticed that the driver was now dead. Letting out a curse he saw their pursuer in the distance. He didn't look to be police.

"What is this guy some sort of Punisher clone? Or is he from a rival gang."

Before he could do anything else he noticed that his comrades were now gone. Probably took the gunshot as a sign to flee. Not only that they took the gems with them, just Tony's luck. Holding his hands up he sighed.

"I give up!"

Seeing the crowd forming around him as their car did just fly through a window and while the gunfire had caused them to scatter, they still had their eyes on him and the assassin. Though since he had an audience Tony thought he might as well put on a show.

"Well that was unnecessary." Tony said pointing to one of the dead robbers. "How is the guy gonna serve his time... or get acquitted of all charges?"

Ren laughed "not my problem I've let the police know your here and I wouldn't move if I were you I never miss"
Just as he said it the cops come rounding the corner sirens blazing when Ren was sure they could get to there man but haven't exited the car Ren spoke up "now if you excuse me I gotta go or I'll be going with you since the police don't like me neither"
