California had been a little confusing lately. Kiara wasn't one to keep up with the politics of a region, but it seemed to her that the locals had become a little stand-offish now. They were abrasive, almost unkind. Their lives had gotten a little harder, but that was no excuse for people to be rude. The shaman had thankfully been spared the harsh reality of recent events, due to a close friend.
She was under the protection of the Neon Viper. Miss Viper, unbeknownst to her, was as much a criminal player in the city as HIVE. The woman had gone to ground and ensured her associates were as well protected. Being an employ of Viper's business, Kiara fell under that umbrella. But now a personal matter caused Tzul to seek out the very attention of those she had escaped. She wanted to meet with HIVE.
A nightclub stood before her. Various people she had asked had told her to come to 'Sinful' to be heard by the people in charge. She wondered, if nightclub owners had power, then why was Ashleigh not more prominent in the community? But then dismissed the thought. Obviously Miss Viper was too busy with her charity work to serve in such a capacity.
The shaman was accosted at the door by a bouncer. She was dressed in her tribal clothes with a toothy mask and feathered head-dress. Naturally she did not meet any dress code. Though by repeated emphasis on the importance of her mission she final got the doorman to concede and let her inside.
She was guided to a table, handed a colourful drink (which tasted of many fruits and was delicious), and told to wait. She waited for some time before any more favour was shown. By then she was quite tipsy (the colourful drink was an alcohol in disguise). But the nature of her quest sobered her every time she thought of it.
Kiara had asked for one message to be relayed. That there was a man selling hunting permits downtown. And by tomorrow morning - Jump City was doomed.
