| Battle Theme Music: Run AroundOpen To: Kinzey Characters Appearing: Ben 10, Dea, Velocity, The Flash Summary: Ben & Dea while at the mall one day, run into a speedy dilemma, but are aided by an old ally in solving it. Time: 2:40 PM ----------------------------------------------------------
Ben Tennyson now free of Ghostfreak and having just finished helping Primarch defeat a horde of zombie creatures, desperately needed to get away again. He decided to head to the mall; there he went shopping for new clothes, seeing as the only ones he had were the shirt and pants he was wearing when he first got here. It is also where he purchased a new green jacket to prepare for the winter months. Afterwards, he headed to the food court and ordered a burger and some fries with the money Kara had lent him. He liked the food in this dimension, it tasted different to him, but then again maybe it was all in his mind. As he dipped a few of his fries in ketchup, he would notice a girl with fiery red hair amongst the people. She kind of stood out, mainly because she was a bit younger than him.
"Odd, I wonder where her parents are? She looks like she's a little kid about six or seven years old."
Suddenly as Ben went to take a bite of his burger, he would chomp down onto thin air!?! Huh, where his food go? He didn't drop it, but it was no where to be found. Then as he looked around the food court, many of the trays that on people's table would have the meals dissappear in the blink of an eye. Not to mention, while all this was transpiring the crowd that was walking by the food court seemed to be slowing down, which was odd for the mall. In this dimension and his, it would usually keep a steady flow of pedestrians walking about; but these people seemed to be walking and talking as slow as an old lady with a fake hip...
"Ok, something seriously weird is going on here?" |

| If it was one place Dea would never grow bored, it was a shopping mall with a food court. No one ever paid much mind to a wandering seven year old, being far too busy in their own shopping destinations. Dea had some shopping of her own to do as well, even if it was the illegal sort. But she never took more than what was absolutely required, which today, a new pair of socks was top priority on her agenda list. Not a hard feat to accomplish, and once she found a suitable warm pair, she scurried off to a random bench and removed her worn boots to reveal the holey rags of socks she currently wore. With a quick change and her boots back on, Dea threw the old socks in a random trash bin and with a growling stomach, allowed her nose to lead the way to her next destination.
Obtaining food was just as simple for Dea, whether it be here or at a restaurant. As before in the stores, no one paid much mind to a small lone child, nor least expect one so young to steal from them. In passing by tables, Dea would reach out subtly when customers were looking away to snatch a sandwich here, some fries there, simply whatever was available to grab, Dea's fingers were swift. When she nearly had her full, a rather odd sensation fell over her which led Dea to stand perfectly still and pay attention to what was not around her, per say.
Everyone within the court and around it appeared to fall into some slow motion movie and she took notice of the oddity that the food seemed to be disappearing. Surely this was some random dream and Dea simply didn't remember falling asleep somewhere. She still looked about, felling surprisingly fascinated at what she was witnessing, yet the chilling sense of dread washed over her again, forcing her to come to terms that this was no dream. Then her bright amber eyes locked onto another pair of eyes. A young boy that looked a bit older than her with light brown hair, and he too seemed to be aware of the strange event taking over the mall.
Dea didn't dare make a move. What if he were the one causing this? And if he wasn't, perhaps he would know what to do, so it was best that she held her ground and wisely watch him to see what he would do, if anything at all.

| Ben could see the little red haired girl was staring right at him now...Maybe she was the one behind this? It wouldn't be the first time a girl had pulled mind tricks on him or seemed innocent, but turned out to be a super villain. Well this time things would be different; Ben would approach the little girl, after hopping over the table he was sitting at in a rather rudementary way. Then cautiously, yet angrily walked towards the little red haired child wanting answers.
"Alright you, what's your game here? Are you causing all these people to move in slomo?"
As Ben said this to Dea, his eyes would gesture to the woman across the food court trying to pull her husband; who was also being effected by the slowness. She was complaining about how slow he was moving, like a snail, but the man wouldn't respond. He seemed to be about 5 seconds behind her and it would be a little while until he could fully respond to her accusation with a denial. |

| Her bright eyes widened in sudden shock at first. Dea half expected this kid just might attack her at first glance by the sudden movement he made over the table he was dining at. His own stare was silently accusing, and even by the gait of his walk, Dea knew to expect his suspicions before he even spoke a single word. None the less, her own gaze narrowed up at him even if he were only a couple inches taller than her and her lips pursed tightly together as she struggled to curb her own temper, even if it didn't sound like she held it back at all.
Her hands were balled up in tight fists at her sides as Dea made her stand against this kid who was obviously unaffected by the strange phenomenon going on as she was. With her eyes glaring, she spat out her own accusations. "Me? Who do you think you are pointing fingers? I don't see you stuck in slowmo like everyone else!" She jerked her head in the direction of the couple he previous pointed at without taking her eyes away from him. "It could very well be you causing all this for all I know...."
Yet in the back of her mind, Dea knew he wasn't responsible. She could hear the truth in his voice, but she was too full of pride to let him off easy for coming at her like he did. So if it wasn't this kid, then how was it that he wasn't effected? How was she unaffected for that matter? Her mind raced for answers that continued grasping for the possibility that her own powers may be the key. So did that mean the same for this boy that approached her?

| "ME!?! If I was the one causing the problem I obviously wouldn't be assking you, DURR!!"
Ben make a childish remark at the little girl, who oddly reminded him of girls from his school. They would huh and puff as they got mad, but unlike them, she didn't try to chase Ben or sit on him; which was nice. No more big bertha's to deal with in this universe or better yet, his dweeb cousin Gwen.
"But, I don't think it's you either. No offense but, you don't look like you could do anything this cool in a million years. So now that, thats cleared up; go find your mommy or something while I try to find out who's REALLY behind this."
Ben would dimiss the little girl with his last sentence, considering her to be what most thought of him...An ordinary kid with no special poweres or anything, but little did he know of Dea's true nature. Meanwhile, as they spoke a girl wearing all green would appear in a blur sitting in a chair right behind Ben. Her outfit was superheroin in nature, her skin all white and her hair was a burning sunburst orange. She also had a lightning symbol visibly showing to all in attendence, as well as a full stomach from all the food she just ate. Thus, solving the mystery of the missing burgers, pizza slices, and hotdogs. Now the real question was, who was she and what was she doing to these people?
"BUUUUURRRRRP!!! Awww, that hit the spot...Hmm, oh wow; looks like I forgot two little ones. Meh, not that it matters, children are always so slow. They're not even worth the milliseconds it would take for me to take their energy." |

| Well this kid was awfully quick at the mouth and quick to judge. That was the first annoyance to cross Dea's mind as her eyes suddenly narrowed at him the very second she heard his tone begin with mockery and then sarcasm. How she could've easily shown him what she was capable of in just a fraction of a second. But that was if she were reckless or spiteful, yet Dea still bit the inside of her cheek to curb the temptation of pride itself. Yet, there was something different, yet familiar to him. The arrogant hint in his voice revealed there was more to him than he had yet to reveal, or perhaps he had suspicions of his own as to what was going on, but no sound proof to even convince himself.
With her fists clenched at her sides, Dea opened her mouth to have her say, but was suddenly interrupted by an unexpected voice from behind the boy she was arguing with. Leaning her head to look around his shoulder, Dea's gaze landed upon a rather peculiar looking girl wearing all green. Seeing the outfit as rather flashy, Dea's expression changed as one watching a freakish fashion show in New York and trying to contemplate why women would dare go out in public wearing such styles. She found herself momentarily stunned in silence while taking in the girl's appearance, that was, until she belched.....
Dea inched closer to the boy while still keeping a keen eye on the stranger. Whatever nonsense she was babbling about was obviously not meant to be friendly, and by what Dea could hear, if this red haired prissy had something hostile in mind, this boy just might need an extra hand. As helpful of a person Dea prided herself to be, she was simply sticking around for the sake of curiosity and stubbornness. Her fists opened up for her hands to now rest on her hips and a set scowl across her little face.
"You have rudely interrupted our conversation," Dea began with a scolding tone. "And kindly cover your mouth when expressing your foul manner."
Dea knew to expect an unwelcoming reaction, but since it was revealed who was truly responsible for the incident occurring within the mall, there was going to be trouble from this girl whether Dea opened her mouth or not.

| Velocity would raise an eyebrow at the little girl, did those words really come out of her mouth? Well, well, a little advanced for a girl of 7 years old. She must be some kind of teachers pet or over achieving genius, that makes her parents proud at spelling bees or whatever. Just the kind of person Talia always HATED! She could never best those who were better than her, no matter how hard she tried and that's why she always had to cheat to win. Well maybe it worked out for the best, because without that skewed philosophy, she'd still just be some Star Labs clerk. Trying to get ahead by fiddling away at her mentor's creations and wishes.
"Eh, someone has a mouth on them. How old are you girly, 7 or 8? Live a little longer kid and you'll find out THE WORLD is rude and foul in manner. Though, if you talk to me like that again, you won't be living much longer than another minute or so."
Velocity would then zip past Ben, staggering him over as the blur of green and red brushed past him. In an instant, the villainess stood infront of Dea peering down with her hands placed upon her hips in the same mocking fashion.
"Maybe even sooner, if you catch my drift."
Ben was dazed twice during this transaction. Once when he heard the phrases come from Dea's mouth. He'd been around a lot of little girls and NONE of them talked like that. Maybe there was something special about this kid afterall.
"Whoa, you sound pretty smart. Where'd you learn how to spea---"
However, before Ben could reply he was interupted by the fast talking Velocity, who then zoomed past him in the blink of an eye. Thus, dazing him for the second time and confirming the suspicion he had from when he first turned around and saw her...She has super speed. Ben had fought fast guys before, but those were aliens mostly. This was a compeltely differnt realm of villain for him, so he'd need to choose his alien form wisely. Soon after falling over, he would hastily rotate the dial on the Omnitrix in preperation, yet while doing so tried to be discrete as possible. Since she was fast, she could stop him from pressing down on the faceplate within miliseconds. So instead of loudly exclaiming his dislike at being pushed over and then transforming infront of her. He just stayed down, hoping not to be noticed by either Dea or Velocity during their argument. |

| Dea firmly stood her ground as the arrogant girl rambled her irritation and idle threats. The familiar voices within Dea's mind struggled to be heard, but she shut them out once again as she did ever since that incident in the city library. Her lips were pressed so tight from the girl's haughty tone and just as Dea was about to snap another retort, the boy beside her appeared shocked when asking about her speech at a moment like this.
Just as he was caught unaware by this female's annoying, yet extremely swift movement, Dea was now face to face with her and her threatening banter. Dea's instincts led her to dodge, but she stumbled a bit only for her power of flight to automatically balance her to keep from falling. In the process, Dea's gaze caught sight of the boy's actions and how obscure he was in doing so. Her auburn brows drew down in thought as her eyes shifted away from him. He had the perfect opportunity to flee, but chose not to do so. Dea could bet her life that this boy has some trick up his sleeve, and since Dea herself wasn't sure exactly what they were up against, she wasn't about to play the solo game....
.... she won't underestimate you.... think cunningly, child..."
A faint gasp inhaled through her lips at the sound of her father's voice swiftly drifting through her mind. She had no time to scorn herself for allowing her mental barrier down, and slyly side stepped the red haired girl to place herself between her and the boy still crouched at the floor some feet away. It wasn't out of protecting him, but to possibly buy him some time for whatever he was planning to do. With her attention soley upon this ghastly outfitted intruder, Dea's eyes narrowed as they began to glow, yet her voice remained surprisingly calm with a lilt of mockery she knew would crawl under this girl's skin as before.
"Oh I've seen the most foul of this world. The likes that make you no more than a pest to me...." Her feet now left the ground as her small body began to slowly rise. Dea would reveal nothing else of her abilities until the time called for their use. For now, she simply needed to distract this girl's measly attention. With a faint smirk at the corner of her lips, Dea spoke again, with the full attempt to instigate this stranger's lack of graceful etiquette. "And by your lack of intellect and dialect, it is obvious you are the one who is most ignorant of THE WORLD and all that lies in it...." There came a soft chuckle that followed in that back of Dea's mind that wasn't her own

| Velocity would watch the girl's eyes change color, while in her own span of time she agonizingly slowly walked in between her and the squirt she had just shoved out oft he way. He was oddly still on the floor, maybe the kid was crying; eh, Talia didn't care. Besides, the little girl was was doing something odd. As she suddenly lifted off the floor and then had the nerve to mock Velocity once again. So short stuff had some abilites too, great. She wasn't just a regular old over achiever, she could fly as well. What next, was she going to cure world hunger? The more this girl showed off, the more pissed Velocity became. Hearing the second insult and then deciding to fire back with one of her own.
"OooOOOooo Scary!! Look kid, if you're trying to impress me with a bit of superpowers, save it. I've fought the Flash, I've fought the JLA and trust me compared to them; your the baby turtle, their the tortoise, and I'm the always allusive hare. One step ahead the whole time."
Suddenly a green flash would go off from behind Dea as Ben pressed down on the watch's faceplate and his transformation begun. His body would seem to melt away and then reform itself around the Omnitrix symbol, forming OVERFLOW!
"And what am I!?!"
Ben would exclaim with a different tone of voice from before, like he was talking from underwater or something. As Overflow rose from behind Dea and took the form of a humanoid body, although he was still pretty much a walking large puddle of water.
"Ohhh, so I see you're both special. Well gosh, if I had know they were growing kids like this nowadays I would've settled down years ago with my own bundle of joy...Ah, who am I kidding? I could never settle down; life in the fast lane's just to much fun."
"Well sorry to say, but when your behind bars the only time you'll need to be first is when it's lunch time at the cafeteria."
The aquatic alien having heard enough, decided to shut the quick tongued speedster up, by lashing out at her with a long water whip like appendage. Not really caring about what she has to say anymore. All Ben wanted was for her to turn these people back to normal and he had a feeling saying please and thank you wouldn't help much with her. Although, as he attempted to strike the woman, she was gone way before his whip would smash into one of the lunch tables like a wave; snapping it in half.
"Too slow Raindrop, and prison food's not my style really. I do like the burgers and fries here, however, you guys should try some!"
As Velocity re-appeared behind the counter of a burger stand. She would move aside the slow moving cashier and begin to toss patties, fries, buns & other condiments at Ben and Dea with fastball like speed. The rain of food wouldn't cause damage of course, but the annoyance of having food splattered all over them is what Talia was going for. OT: Check link under sig for description of Overflow. |

| ((I've gotten pretty rusty.... hope this works!))
Dea's eye's narrowed at the young woman who continued running her mouth like a spoiled bully. Her eyes hue heightened much like growing flames as she felt the energy flow into her hands that now slowly curled at her sides into tight gripping fists. Although Dea chose not to mince words any further with this annoyance, she still scoffed at the ignorant arrogance still thrown about.
Yet the odd voice that came from behind Dea led her to pause before attacking the woman. Part of Dea's mind told her not to turn around, but every child bore a sense of curiosity that could not be ignored. While still hovering above the ground, she was taken back by the liquid form that slowly grew to its full height. She had a strong suspicion that it had something to do with the strange boy she came across in this mess, but her disbelief still tried to deny that such a transformation couldn't be possible.
Who was she kidding? After all the oddities Dea had come across of late....just about any freakish thing was possible! For now, questions and answers could be saved for later.
Her head jerked back just in time to suffer their enemy's next bout of wasted words and see her toss aside the poor sot who was still at his station behind the register. Seeing the gaudy costumed chic take refuge behind the counter, Dea's fists ignited in flames and instantly rise up for her open palms to lash out the streams of fire through the distance between them. The fire instantly engulfed the flying food and continued soaring until the flames consumed the counter their foe chose to flee.
Assuming the liquid companion behind her could extinguish the flames at any given time, Dea would have to be swift to reignite her power for whatever retaliation this chic had to deliver.

| As the the food came zipping towards both Overflow and Dea, it would all be fried into little charred tid bits by the little girl. Ben was actually fairly impressed by this feet. Such a big power for a small girl, then again he was one to talk. Meanwhile, the flames would continue to head towards Velocity. As they neared the pupils of her eyes would widen as the expresion on her face read signs of panic. In fact if one looked close enough you could almost see her quick moving lips forming the words 'uh,oh' before she instantly ducking beneath the cash register. The blazing heat engulfing the entire register and counter shortly after. Setting it a blaze along with all the dollar bills and near melting the coins that all resided within the machine. Not to mention scorching all the remaining food a chracoal black crispy color and texture. Immediately after Dea's attack slightly subsided, Ben would wash his way over towards the counter like a human shaped moving wave. Coming up and then crashing down over the still smoldering area only to find Velocity was gone! It would seem she had used her super speed again to get away just in time, but where was she now?
"Crud, she's gone? I think you scared her off."
"Guess again squirt."
Talia could then be seen speeding out from the concession stand over from the one Ben was standing in. She must've jumped ship just after ducking the flames. Jeez, she moved so fast that amongst the dancing fire neither of them even saw her run over there. What was that in her hand? It would appear to be some sort of metal chain that connected to the top of the burger stand. As she yanked on it, a steel wall like that of a garage door would slam shut in front of Ben that surrounded the entire burger stand. It was one of those gates that owners used to close up their shops at night. As it closed the quick moving speedster dashed over and locked the door shut so Overflow couldn't escape his metal tomb, for the moment at least. On the inside, however, the aquatic alien would pound away trying to get free of his makeshift cell. Outside of it, Velocity would turn to see Dea's expression. She wa still mad and Talia loved she was getting under this little girl's skin.
"It's just you and me now doll, so what do you want to play? Oh I know, how bout tag!?! I never lose at that one." |

| Dea's breath caught in her throat as the scene before her played out in feverish seconds. It wasn't until she heard the water creature speak again that the reality of who it really was sunk into her head. That boy? He was some form of a shifter? Yet before her disbelief could be shook off, that annoying woman reappeared again out of nowhere! Dea's flames never even touched her!
With a scowl of rage and determination, Dea was about to try again when their enemy shot into action once more. Startled and dumbfounded that her comrade was also caught off guard and caged, Dea felt a split second of panic. Especially hearing the frantic pounding coming from the other side, proving he couldn't get out.....
Now hearing this Talia's taunting words, they snapped Dea back to attention, and her rising anger again. The adrenaline rushed through her veins with such force, her small body began to shake. With narrowed eyes, her wrists twitched, bringing her palms alive with flames again. Let the arrogant speedster think Dea was aiming for her..... and with a flick of her hands, her Flames of Glory engulfed her hands as she cried out yet another of her power.
"Flames of Destiny!
The golden locket around her neck suddenly exploded with a blinding piercing light that engulfed the entire section of the food court. It was just the distraction Dea needed and she didn't need to see her initial target to thrust her hands in the direction of the metal security wall. The streams of flames struck against it, and Dea continued the river of fire to increase the heat against the metal. Determined to see her only comrade free, the child clenched her eyes shut and concentrated.... ....It has to melt... it just has to!...
The blinding light only lasted for maybe seconds, yet the fiery presence that erupted from Dea's necklace still remained hovering above the small girl, yet poised for attack. It's phoenix like form reared its body back to conjure its energy before lunging forward to send waves of flames in Talia's direction, yet keeping wise to the citizens who may be too close to harm.

| Dea didn't seem to have repsonded the way Velocity had hoped. Instead of enabling her verbal banter the tiny girl instead unleashed a hell mary of fire towards the speedster. Velocity immediately avoiding it and then coming in for the charge, but then slowed down for out of the corner of her eye she could see what Dea's real intent was. She wanted to free the other kid that had morphed into that water being.
"Hey twerp, you're cheating! No asking for help during the game."
That being sad Talia would close in on the red haired child, but before she could reach her the red hot scolding flames would melt away the metal encasing Overflow inside and as soon as a viable means of esscape was made the aquatic being would flow out freed at last. Veloity on the other hand had almost reached Dea, but was haulted when her necklace attacked like a moition censor, firing a barrage of flames in Velocity's direction. This caused Talia to have to avoid multiple blasts from the Phoenix resembling figure. A feat that she did with ease as she dashed around in between slow moving citizens if she needed to while chuckling madly. All of this was a game to her, a form of excitement in an otherwise slow moving and boring livelyhood. As she dashed past citizens she would suck their remaining speed from them causing the pedestirans to not move at all now, while she only increased in speed.
"You know brat, tag's really just not your thing. Maybe you should stick to spellingbees, since you like using grown up words so much."
Ben seeing the difficulty Dea was having had a brilliant idea. While Velocity taunted and avoided his allies attacks Overflow would spread his liquid body across the cafeteria flooring making the surface nice and slippery. Then as the villains ran over one of the spots she would slip and lose her footing, causing Talia to stumble and fall. This could leave Dea the opening she needed to take down the speedster once and for all. |

| (( Ack!! I didn't know you posted!! Sorry JaK!!))
The strength and energy of using her powers was beginning to wane on Dea. First the blast against the counter where Talia had first ran, then further concentrating on the security wall to help free her watery ally. And with creeping exhaustion on top of this irritating woman's constant, taunting rambling, Dea's temper was beginning to boil. Even if this was her last chance, she was determined it would be her best attempt at silencing that annoying mouth once and for all.
Her glare narrowed upon the target, yet her amber eyes ignited again with an illustrious glow as she summoned her powers once more, this time with full gusto. Doing so led a sudden change to Dea's attire. Her ragged clothes burst with a flash of light to reveal a startling crimson gown like dress with golden highlights. Even though her hands and arms were adorned with matching gloves, the rising strength of her power still resonated from her hands. Her appearance may have beheld a regal touch, but the sneer that grew across her lips was not that of a normal child. Even the young girl's voice rasped through its normal tone, as if another voice was entwined through her vocal cords. "The likes of you serves no purpose in this world other than breathing wasted space and a pollutant of ignorance that spreads its stupidity like a disease...." As her conjured fire grew within her palms, Dea's hair whipped about her like an uncontrolled mane, and the Phoenix hovered even higher behind the child to scream in warning.
Seeing the watery form shoot into action against the floor, Dea's sneer shifted into a soft smirk before she taunted their challenger. Talia's arrogance was already obvious from the start. Dea had high hopes the speedster would take the bait. "Let's see how good you really are..." Her shifting voice teased with sarcasm. "Let's play a little game called the Tortoise and the Hare!!" As her final word shouted from her throat, Dea's hands flew out with flaming whips shot straight for Talia. At the tail end of the flaming streams, the fiery whips split into what appeared like jagged fingers.
As Dea's arms and hands moved, so did the direction of her blazing whips in order to give chase to the swift moving foe. The Phoenix behind her may only have one last shot of its own before Dea's strength gave out entirely. One slip up was all they needed to catch this infuriating pest off her guard.

| After slipping on the wet surface, Velocity would sit up and rub her head in a distressed feamle type manner. Just long enough in fact to see Dea's outfit change clothes at the child becoming intesifyingly angry and then lashed out at her with...What, were those FIREWHIPS!?! Things were definitely starting to get to hot in here for Talia, she needed to get out of this place for a breath of fresh air. To avoid the first whip attack, the speedstress quickly kipped to her feet and then rolled forward. The movement and tumble in itself happening much faster than that of the average gymnast could hope to strive for, it was probably in fact faster than a pouncing tiger or Cheetah could attack it's unsuspecting prey.
"Whelp, looks like it's time to bail. Seeya kiddies!"
However, as Velocity tried to sprint out of the mall she was starting to slow down. Constantly running at high speeds, while not continually absorbing more of it was draining her. The speedster now at speeds of 80 mph or less. Ya she definitely needed to call it quits, sadly she also couldn't seem to get any type of traction on the floor thanks to Ben. Who was spreading his aqautic body pretty thin as so he could soak the entire area. The plan worked too, causing the delay in Talia's movements and her sudden decrease in speed gave the little girl enough time to lash her with her own flaming whips in the back. The fingernail shaped flames clawing at Velocity's back and leaving three gashes or burn marks in the villain's body that caussed her to scream out.
"AHHHh, I don't like being hit you little B*tch! And now, you're going to pay for being such an annoying little nerdlet."
As she fell to the floor, Velocity would feel where she had been hit with her hand. The skin was steaming from the intense heat and the costume that had once covered her now seared flesh was vaporized instantly on contact. Then as it would appear the Phoenix whips were coming in on Talia again, but she didn't attempt to run. No, now she would show this little girl some true power. Using the speed force, the speedster began to rotate her arms fast, and then faster, faster, fasterfasterfaster still. Until 88 mph winds would seem to blow across the food court back towards Dea and her flames, keeping the whips at bay as she did so. The winds were going to keep building until she blew this little pest away, which in Dea's weakining condition would be soon and then Velocity could get out of dodge...FAST.
"Gotcha, right where I want you!"
It would seem Velocity had made a gross mistake in standing still and trying to blow out the girl's flames. For a chance at her being stationary was all Overflow needed to take her down once and for all. Soon a large bubble of water would rise and surround Talia from the floor like like a hidden flay trap; capturing her in a human sized basketball shape of water that began suffocating her. Usually the speedstress would be able to esscape by evaporating the water. This being achieved by roatating at high speeds to cause enough frition to burn up the liquid. However, right now she definitely couldn't do this near fast enough to achieve the desired result and instead frantically flailed until she could no longer hold her breath and seemingly knocked out to lack of oxygen. It would also be at this time that a loud beeping would occur from the water bubble itself. Alerting Ben that this transformation would time out soon. Then in a flash of red light, Velocity was freed, although she was still unconcsious and wet laying on the mall floor and the boy himelf was standing next to fallen woman. A smile on his face as he now seemed completely normal. His wrist watch was now a red faded color instead of green, which signaled that it was recharging.
"Phew, with just enough time to spare." |
