A Plan Fit For the Gods (Bloo) [IS]

The girl really was an amateur. The Sin was expecting someone bold enough to com knocking on the door of HIVE to be able to put up at least a little bit of a fight. The girl stumbled around, and Greed knew she was dying. That much blood wasn't really anything to nod at. Her eyes were big, blue, and pleading. Greed felt a loathing looking into them. A coldness took over his limbs as his grip tightened around the dagger. Idly, he noticed the slick liquid running down the handle. Ella looked much younger than she'd acted as she fell, her face pale from the blood loss.
For a moment he felt something akin to regret. The girl really had been a chipper one. This made the second kill this week. The pink haired girl wasn't much older either. Why were all the heroes kids?

Her eyes seemed locked on the Sin no matter where he stood, until he eventually scuffed. "Quit lookin' at me like that, Sweetheart. You put yourself in this situation." He remarked bitterly. Then with another heavy sigh, he yanked the girl up, blood spilling all over. He moved towards the river, holding her limp form with every intention of letting it go at the same time that he let go of the guilt.
That's when the grinding of concrete sliding against itself snapped his attention back to the same door that he'd came out of. The sound of running was clear. What the Hell was going on? That's when Fen came barrelling out of the doorway, his clothes rather tattered and blood dripping from a few places. The kid glanced to Ella and his mind didn't even register what he was looking at.

"Love, we gotta get-" then like a flood taking over his senses, it hit him. There was blood everywhere. The blonde was limp in the mans weak grip for seconds until-- HE LET HER GO.
For moments nothing else mattered. He dashed towards the edge of the river, intent on jumping in after the love of his life. He was halted suddenly, with a blinding pain in his chest. He ignored it, trying to push past the hand that was buried in his sternum. His strength was draining though, and soon Fenrir was forced to take in the slim arm holding a dagger through his chest. It was removed, but Fen just fell to his knees.

"So there were two of them? How tragic..." A cold voice that teetered on the verge of apathetic rang from behind the boy, making him feel even weaker than he was. Despite the fact that he felt like nothing would be more reliving that dropping to the cold ground and shutting his eyes, his clawed hands dug into the concrete as he literally dragged himself towards the river as if he still planned on jumping in after Ella.

"N-n... no..." He mumbled, the metallic taste of blood in his mouth muffling the sound of his hoarse call. He was dying wasn't he?

'It is not your time, not yet.'
A soothing voice rang in his ears, and he thought it was an angel he was hearing. His vision blurred with hot tears as he inched ever closer to the river. It wasn't possible, but he was feeling stronger by the second.
'I'LL TEAR THEM APART!'

This was the voice that woke Fen. Arms that were seconds ago nearly useless pressed the heavy boy off the ground. He smelled Ella's familiar scent behind him, and looked back with gritted teeth and harsh eyes to see a confused Greed. The boy was dying seconds ago, but now he was glaring with such ferocity... and the bleeding had stopped.

Greed was a fool, but even he knew when it was a good time to bail. Right when the group that had been chasing Fen through the sewer passages stepped out, the Sin vanished.
Fenrir looked at the men with a barely kept rage. 'The hunt begins...'

The boy did his first transformation. The beast inside was no longer tamed by his young body. He charged the men, and despite their powers none remained standing for more than a minute. The grey beast was left covered in his own and their blood, but they'd live. The soothing voice ensured it. Then Fenrir found himself sprinting downstream, his nostrils flaring as he tried to catch any hint of Ella's scent... but when he hit then end, there was no trace.
The beast stood, looking as defeated as something so mighty could. Without his knowing there was even a wolf like whine.

When the police arrived on the scene, Fen had transformed back. He had no wounds, but smears of blood caked his skin. He had the awareness to put his pants back on, but the kid was shirtless in the cold night staring lifelessly at the river. All he'd told the police was that Ariella Ahosan was dead...

As soon as Ariel got the call, she grabbed Jasper from his crib and ran out the door. Her husband and kids (most of them) went on a trip to Germany which Ariel and Jasper were supposed to join them in two days. However, while she was packing for this trip she got a call... from the police station... Her first thoughts were wondering if Ella got in some kind of trouble trying to do something right, or if she was hanging out with that crazy ginger kid again... but.. when the operator said that her daughter's body was missing after being attacked.. she just froze.
There was no way, she was dreaming, not her little Ella? It couldn't be? She would get to the scene and see her daughter perfectly fine, Ella always pulled through despite giving her and her husband several heart attacks.

20 minutes later the small woman pushed through the crowd with a baby on her hip, only to have the police try to push her back. "No! No! My daughter is the victim! Please I need to see Ariella!" Ariel cried out, only to have the police nod and let her in. She took in the scene before her and saw a blood stained concrete ground, police all around.... but no body bag... That was good right!? That means Ella was taken off to the hospital! Ariel was approached by a detective who looked down solemnly at her. "Ma'am.. I'm afraid to say...your daughter Ariella's body couldn't be found... The eye witness said that she was tossed into the river and after an hour of searching we still cannot find her.." He explained, but Ariel couldn't hear him.. whatever he continued to say she was tuning out, she could hear Jasper crying next to her but... Who was this eye witness.. what happened to her daughter?
Looking around, her face streaked with tears, her eyes landed onto a familiar patch of grey hair. It was Fen, the boy who broke her daughter's heart... why was he here?

Ariel approached him, wiping her own tears away and shushing Jasper on her hip. However, as soon as Fen turned around and she looked at his face... she just.. couldn't... Her heart was broken, her daughter was gone, and she had yet to tell her husband and kids... Whatever Fen saw.. or possibly did didn't matter to her... there was nothing more to be said.. or to be done... The mother just turned her heels and walked away.. It looked like her family was going to spend a lot of time in Germany.

'Wolf, are you... sad?'
'...yes, Lamb.'
'What does it feel like?'
'Hng... a long hunt, with no kill? Empty.'

Fenrir wasn't too worried about the sudden voices in his head. He just kept his dead, defeated stare forward. Was that the spot that he'd last seen Ella? Or was it... a step to the right? An inch left? Maybe it was thoughts like these that pushed the kid closer to insanity. He already had the voices part down.

He heard Ella's mom pull up before he saw her. His hearing and smelling seemed to be increased since his transformation. It felt extremely natural. The movies always imply that it takes forever to get used to having the enhanced senses, but reality was quickly proving otherwise. It was almost like second nature to him...
but what he couldn't avoid with his hearing and smell, he hid his eyes from. He knew Ella's mom was right behind him. He kept his eyes forward in shame. How could he tell her that he had killed her daughter? He was so blinded by the chase he left Ella there. Alone. He'd killed her.

He counted himself lucky when the older woman just left.

'All who embrace life must embrace death.'
