And So It Begins (Heroes please)

"This little light of mine... I'm gonna let it shine..."

The docks without a doubt are Jump city's most important import hub. Each day millions of dollars come through the port and are accounted for however... Millions more seem to come through and stay off the books. Any person who's been in the underworld for even a little while can tell you how it works. Shipping containers come in, a guard is paid to take his break exactly when a truck fitted for the containers cargo arrives, and then the night goes on as if nothing had even happened.

Tonight was no different, a night watchman would leave his post for his smoke break and then the truck and its escort file into the loading bay. Tonight it was none other than Russian mobsters getting the prize. They unloaded the shipping container to show off their new toys. H&K G36's fitted with scopes and extended magazines. With such highly sought after assault rifles in their hands they would surely get the edge in whatever gang war they planned to wage with them. Everything was looking fine for the gangsters until...

"Ping"

Anybody who'd seen combat knew the sound. Pins being taken from grenades, and then thrown out towards the convoy. Though it caused the men to scatter nothing exploded, but instead a thick orange mist began to cover the area. The mobsters seemed confused at first, and simply thought they were smoke grenades... They couldn't have been more wrong. Moments after inhaling the gas the men began to vomit, gag, and foam at the mouth before finally collapsing. The few men that were able to escape the wrath of the nerve agent were cut down by rapid fire from a few yards away. Out of the haze he stepped. He wasn't tall nor large like the muscle he'd hired to flank both his sides. He was small and stringy, but the wild look in his piercing blue eyes was more menacing than size could ever be

"Waste any stragglers, and load up the guns..."

He ordered his subordinates to which they promptly began doing. The gagging of the men who'd barely survived was cut short by more machine gun fire. Large men in gas mask began to load the truck that they now claimed as others went around with their submachine guns looking for anything that might be a threat to their mission. Alex perched himself at the top of the tuck, and grinned as he looked down with pleasure at his new toys. Oddly enough the gas (which had now cleared) didn't seem to effect him, and he didn't seem to have anything assisting his breathing.    

For the first time ever, the masked hero wasn't in the middle of all of this, when she arrived to the scene, she crawled over the warehouse roof tops and watched as the scene was clearing out. By the time she got there, the people were being loaded in the cars and the rest of them killed off. She was lucky that she was wearing the bunny mask, because there were tears in Ella's eyes already. The girl knew that if she didn't jump in right now, more lives would be at stake and possibly important cargo. Who knows what could be in there! Maybe more trafficking victims!
Ella would slide down the roof top and climb down the back, heading towards one of the trucks. She saw a man standing somewhat proudly up top, not partaking in any of the grunt work. To her, this meant he was the leader of this whole project, so why not try to knock him out?

Being as sneaky as possible, Ella, who was dressed in black pants, a black sweatshirt, and a white bunny mask, made her way around the corner. She took a deep breathe and poked her head around, sticking out her hand. A harsh blast of wind, capable of pushing 200 pounds, would attempt to hit the man standing on the truck to knock him over.

Alex turned just as the gust of wind hit him, and though he slid back a few inches he seemed mostly unscathed from the attack. In fact he was grinning more now, and ran towards the direction of the attack. As soon as Ella was in his vision Alex spun with a ferocious kick following him. The force of the kick was enough to shatter the brick corner that the hero had his behind, and even if he didn't hit her he'd definitely send a message.

"You're one of them!"

The young crime lord shouted in what seemed to be ecstasy. His intense blue eyes scanned over the girl in her bunny mask, and he put her in between the crosshairs of the machine pistol he held but didn't dare fire.

"You're a hero! A real super hero! You're the first one I get to kill! I'm so happy you've given me this opportunity, I promise I'll make it exciting!"

Alex was saying these things as if she'd just accepted his dream job application. He fired off his weapon at her feet, but seemed to have no intention of using the gun on her.

Before she knew what happened, the boy she tried to knock over kicked a large chunk of brick out of the wall, shattering the pieces everywhere. He then started telling her he was very happy to meet a hero, the first one he's seen, and that he was more than happy to kill her. Usually, Ella would freeze up, the old Ella not being able to deal with crazy people like this. But she now new how vital seconds were, and she used them wisely.
When he was mid sentence, she began back flipping away from him, his bullets scathing the area she was just in. If he really was the leader, pulling him away from his operation would be her best bet. She didn't want to die, no one really wants to die, but something about this man made her feel like no matter what she did he was going to attempt to kill her.

With this all in mind, Ella blew more strong gusts of wind out of her feet and hands as she back flipped away, following by turning and running.

Alex rushed her, getting hit but not really being fazed by several gust of wind. He kept shooting in her direction, but anyone could tell he was just toying with his prey. Even if she did hit him most of Alex's muscle had their sights trained on Ella to cut her down if Alex needed it.

"Hit me harder... Harder... Harder!... HARDER!"

Alex roared at her as he got closer, and if his words were top be taken seriously it was as if he wanted her to hurt him. As soon as he got in arms reach he'd swing hard with a right cross. If he hit her he'd stand over her, but if he missed he's simply swing around for a heavy kick.

Her years of cheerleading couldn't keep up with him, back flipping and running only did her so much. She dodged the first punch, only to get knocked off her feet by a heavy kick. "Gah!" The small girl would be sent directly into the ground, and when she looked up he was standing over her threatening.
During that kick, her bracelet had flown off, landing behind her, she had completely forgot about it! If she could get her hands on it, she could directly call Harmon!

Ella's head turned back to the man, holding her side. Hoping this would work, she'd spin her legs around while pushing air out, hoping knock him off his feet. If it did work, she'd then dive for the bracelet.

Alex gritted his teeth as the gust of wind hit him. He fell atop of Ella, but threw himself over her so he'd have her pinned. The guards walked closer laughing at the girl as Alex ripped her mask from her face. He grinned as he looked down at her prey.

"I bet you feel strong behind your mask... But now you're just as naked as anyone..."

His grinned widened before he stuck out his tongue, and trailed it up her cheek before laughing more. His grip tightened as he held both her hands at the top of her body with just on of his.

"The fear... The confusion... The pain..."

As he said pain Ella would see his other hand come into view with a blade that looked sharper than a brand new razor. Alex rubbed it up her body, and rested it on her cheek. The blade was so clean and so close to her eye she'd see a small reflection in it.

"Now's the part where I need you to scream..."

She thought her cool move would work, but it only threw the boy on top of her. He whipped her around and she helplessly watched him remove her mask, only to find the girl underneath with a look of frustration. She wouldn't let him have the satisfactions of seeing her afraid, or seeing her cry, she would put on her brave face. You know what they say, fake it till you make it.
With Ella's hands pinned to the ground, the boy would lean down and lick the side of her face. She immediately shivered in disgust. "Okay, you know I'm used to being threatened, but that's just disgusting." She complained, watching as he gently placed the sharp razor in front of her eye.

"I could scream," Ella began, her voice shaking slightly, "But.. why don't we talk this out first..." She attempted to persuade, looking at him questionably. "You don't have to kill me.. or anyone... You can still be good.."

Alex's head bolted in the direction where the sound came from. He growled, and sent a hard hook straight to Ella's temple before popping up. The men that were near him rushed off with him to the noise, and Alex grinned.

"Another one for the pile!"

He laughed as his men finished loading the truck, and the remaining guards took aim. Alex wanted to fight, but also knew the cargo was priority.

"Go on dregs... This one is mine."

He hissed as the men reluctantly retreated to the vehicle. Alex stared the newcomer down, sizing him up in every way possible. Finally he started to smile again, and popped his neck before throwing his blade down. Alex took a fighting stance, and dared Kris to start.

As if God himself sent a guardian angel, someone decided to cause enough trouble that it distracted him. Her attacker punched her in the temple, and Ella's vision momentarily went dark. When she was able to see again, her head was pounding and swirling, she stumbled around a bit before she could stand again. "That hurt.."
When her vision was clear and her head was hurting.. less... She saw the people starting to drive off along with her previous attacker standing with his back to her. Ella knew this was dumb, but people like him needed to go to jail... or maybe a psychiatric hospital. With that being said, she'd use the wind to sling her forward, in attempt to tackle him. If she succeeded, her next move would be to grab his hands, similar to what he previously did.

Alex grinned as he heard footsteps coming from behind him, and spun around to grab Ella's hand. If he grabbed her he'd pull her forward to ram her into Kris. If he didn't grab her he'd still be able to jump out of the way to let the two of them collide. Once Alex did jump away he perched himself on a ledge, and sprayed the two with machine gun fire. The smirk on his face showed just how much he loved this chaos.

She went to tackle him, but was thrown off her feet and towards the other boy. Ella wasn't sure what had just happened, but when she was thrown over his shoulder, she squealed and shot straight into the air. Kris would run into a wall of air that was holding Ella 10 feet into the air. Sure it wasn't safe, but it was more of a reaction than anything. She didn't know how to handle this, so she flipped over and landed safely behind Kris, away from the gun fire. "You don't have to do this!"
