May is a great shot. Whether it be with her sniper rifle, a bow and arrow, a simple pistol, or some other automatic weapon. While she can be handed most firearms and know what to do with them, she will usually carry her trust collapsible sniper rifle. May’s aim is good for roughly 200 yards with her rifle, 80 yard with a bow, and 30 yards with most pistols. May isn’t great with fully automatic weaponry, she can’t hold it very steadily and maintain a constant fire rate. May can shoot from several stressful situations including from moving vehicles, and she can even shoot while upside down. For obvious reasons involving her past though, she's the worst at shooting upside down from the list.

Lack of Depth Perception

Spoiler:

May’s left eye is scarred beyond the point of any surgery. She is completely blind in her left eye and thus has very little depth perception. While she only needs one eye to shoot thanks to her scopes, she has difficulty doing daily tasks or getting around quickly and usually needs some help with it.

Mental Weaknesses:

Acrophobia
Due to her lack of depth perception, May is the sniper who is terrified of heights. While she can handle being in a tree for a little while, she can’t handle it forever. Even something as simple as a city rooftop is terrifying to her due to her past and her difficulty seeing.

Claustrophobia and Agoraphobia
I'll preface this by saying that May will be completely fine if she's with her friends. However...she has a severe fear of crowded areas and tight spaces. This can cause her to hyperventilate or almost entirely break down.

Equipment:

Collapsible Sniper Rifle

Spoiler:

A collapsible sniper rifle that May treasures above all other things. This weapon can break itself down to a point that May can hide it in her hoodie while it’s zipped up and she is able to collapse and rebuild it very quickly. Her best time so far is 5.6 seconds, but on average it tends to be around 7. 9 if she’s being rushed too much. The clip is capable of holding 6 armor piercing rounds before she has to reload and she typically carries 4 clips on her, not counting the one already inside of the weapon. May’s sniper rifle is bolt action and has a variable scope. It also has an attachment on the stock to help her get around by hooking onto terrain. This is useful not only for climbing (which she’s terrible at) but also for catching herself if she happens to fall due to her half blindness.

Personality:
May is a very timid girl. While her affiliation and status wouldn't tell you that, it's the truth. She's terrified of the thought of conversing with most people, but not weak willed to the point that she'll back out over it. She'll do what she has to in order to survive and prosper.

Because of this, May has taught herself to wear a false personality around her teammates and friends. She'll resort to sarcasm and jokes when necessary, anything to hide the panic attack she constantly seems to be having. Albeit, the people closest to her can tell pretty easily.

History:

May's father was a mercenary. A *&#*$ good one too. Her mother? Just a common working woman. They got together and when a man and woman love each other very much, they get May out of it. However, sometimes one of the best mercenaries in the world shouldn't leave his family unattended. While he was out on a contract, the wrong people took an interest in May and her mother.

These men ransacked the home, slitting Martha's throat and dragging a young May away with them. From there they would torture her tirelessly, trying to force a ransom out of her father. Every day they would record her screaming and begging for help. They would do the worst things imaginable to her and...no one really came for her. At all.

It was around this point that she'd taken a particularly nasty session as her chance to escape. She was only untied for a moment but she tried to make a break for it. Needless to say, a 6 year old girl isn't much of a threat to several armed terrorists and they quickly subdued her, causing the permanent damage to her eyesight as a message to do as she was told.

It wasn't a full year until her father finally tracked down the men who had taken her and killed them all with brutal efficiency, but the two wouldn't be together for very long. May's father was convicted on the murder of his fiance, and May was left alone.

She began to learn to live without her eye, learned how to build her own weapons. Eventually, she'd get revenge on the legal system for taking away what was left of her childhood, as well as the men who put out the mark on her head. They're the reason she ended up this way, and they were the reason she was still haunted by the long nights of hanging by her feet, high above the floor for hours on end, screaming for help until she passed out.
