Free Parking(open)

It was time.  Takahs had spent the entire trip here practicing, learning the native language.  It had been difficult, weird mammalian species always had languages that required 'lip movement' and were generally poor on proper snaps, growls and such.  Still, she had managed, she knew the language, she had traveled to the planet, and now, she was entering the atmosphere.  Oh yes, a new alien was arriving on Earth and unfortunately her method of arrival was not subtle, in fact it was somewhat akin to a meteor strike.  Down through the clouds and sky, the Galvan scout craft came.  Normally this ship looked like it had four great 'arms' two to either side, long metallic blades that extended forwards at an angle from the main ship.  the main ship was a mix of red and green, and looked big enough to maybe hold a couple of people.  Normally the blades were out front of the ship, but right now all four arms had closed together, almost like a tail, and the main bulk of the ship was now leading the charge to planetside.  This was normal, this was how the Galvan entered an atmosphere without the intense friction damaging the bladed arms of the craft.  However, it did look an awful lot like a crash landing.

Many people would get to see this great thing streaking down through the skies, surrounded in frictional fire, thanks to Takahs' choice of landing area.  That being the beach.  Now, she wasn't foolish, she hadn't just picked some super densely populated surf spot, and in fact her landing was very nearly out of Jump City's jurisdiction altogether!  Her ship was aimed for a beach with very few people, on a specific stretch of several dozen meters with no people, and was aimed above the tidal reach, where grass had actually started to grow.  Essentially her ship was aimed for an empty plot of land on the very edges of Jump City's beaches.  Soon it was going to land.  As it drew closer to land several specific back up systems were prepared, and just seconds before impact, with still dozens of meters between the ship and the ground, the actual main ship seemed to almost 'expand' as multiple cushions suddenly expanded outwards.  Then, the ship hit.  It hit with a hard crash and impact, as those great air bags collapsed upon themselves.  The impact was still tremendous the ship cracking the ground and sinking into the soil around it.  However, those big poofy bags had at least kept it from making a massive crater of an impact.  It was just enough to avoid it...although a bit of debris had been shot around.  Mostly harmless dirt, that just crashed into the walls of a couple nearby houses, but one particularly unfortunate rock had found its way through a window.  Fortunately, nobody was hit by the thing.

The ship settled into its new landing pad, before a hiss was heard as a hatch opened up top of it.  A figure emerged, clad in a black, sleeveless top with an alien design sewn into the fabric.  It was hard to say if the top stretched down over the being's legs, as there was a long tan length of cloth wrapped around the waist, draping down further in the back than the front.  It was kept in place by an ornate belt with a shining red gemstone at the clasp.  The figure wearing the clothing was blatantly alien.  They climbed out of their ship and leaped to the ground.  They stood on two legs for sure, but their body was covered in a hide of fine, brown-red scales.  A thick tail lashed behind them, and their head was more reminiscent of a lizard, the muzzle crooked, shaped like an amused smile.  Golden eyes peered around quizzically as the strange reptilian folded their arms.  They were tall, and muscular.  For a few moments they just stared around, and then nodded.  "Gehd, neh seriahs damage teh the area."

Kane was just hanging out near the beach, letting people take pictures of him and shower him in praise after he had just taken out a bad guy. He was just done taking a selfie with a girl's phone for her when he saw a meteor falling down from the sky, he quickly gave the girl her phone back and made his way over to the crash site. Kane came over to the crash site and saw an alien crawl out of it, some of the people seemed quite scared but Kane clearly wasn't Hey there, friend, welcome to Earth.

A few people had come closer...well relatively speaking.  People were peering out of windows to see what was going on, cars slowed down briefly, and then rather often hastily sped up.  A few beach goers had come closer, but no one dared step onto the empty lot that this strange alien ship had crashed onto.  Well most of them didn't.  One particular individual did.  This strange figure, were they...ah it didn't really matter.  Takahs just turned to face them, rolling their shoulders slowly.  Space travel always put such kinks in their joints!  Still this was a great chance to see if that English course had done any good. "Greetings, Hehman.  I trust I have viahlated nah lahs hith my entry?" Takahs was...fairly confident that they hadn't, but it never did hurt to ask.

The lizard's golden eyes roamed over Kane, and past them, still unable to determine what gender the figure was.  Aside from the obvious lack of W, O, and oo sounds, the lizard also pronounced V sounds oddly.  There was just something strange about the way they sounded, as if it was more of a soft Z then a V.  Likely due to the fact that the being's muzzle wasn't flexible enough to press teeth to lower lips.  Takahs didn't even have lips!

A small form peeks out from behind a char, green eyes, hidden behind the over present shades, examines the scene as Titus bites his lip, thinking. He didn't quite know what to do....Somewhat inevitably, he gives in to the curiosity, and approaches them, looking up at the two larger beings as he stands beside the famed hero. If he needed it, the young wall former would gladly help.

That thing the alien had on its face seemed to be muffling it's voice, but otherwise it spoke really good English, it asked if he had violated any laws with his landing, 'Kane thought about it You might have to pay for that window, but it's nothing you'd get in trouble for he noticed the person approach them slowly, standing at his side. Kane gave Titus a bright smile and a thumbs up, then turned back to his alien friend So, what business do you have on earth?

The alien looked to the side and spotted the broken window.  It was hard to say what they were feeling for most humans or those like them.  Thanks to that inflexible muzzle, Takahs always seemed to be smiling regardless of the situation, and their body language was relaxed, but could even that be trusted to be the same as a human's?  "I can deh that."  Takahs said with a nod.  "As fehr hai I'm here, I'm a mercenary, blade fehr hire.  Here ta ahffer my services teh hehever's interested." Well if that statement wasn't a bit of a mouthful with that accent.  "Kneh anyhun wheh's lehkin' ta hire by any chance?"

Titus shifts his feetslightly,smiling, as Kane gives him a thumbs up. A famous hero approved....of him!!Watching as they interact, the boy tilts his head, deciphering her speech. A mercenary?He bites his lip nervously. Titus didn't know...He wasn't sure what to do on this...Maybe Mom and Dad would like having a bodyguard around the house...Resolving to talk to them later, he watches.

Kane frowned, he didn't really know anything about that, he of all people didn't need anyone to help him with that kind of thing No, not really, sorry. I guess you can look around the city for that kind of thing though he shrugged apologetically Would you like some directions perhaps?
