Day 1 (HIVE Academy)

Subject: Day 1 (HIVE Academy) Sat Nov 14, 2015 1:22 pm

Today was the first day Lust had class, she didn't know exactly how it would go and didn't take the time to ask teachers with earlier classes what had happen. She had prepared some stuff, but nothing too crazy, today was a day of show and tell, to let the class know who was boss. She didn't get this job for no reason, so she needed to let them know Lust meant business.
As she walked to her class, her heels clicked against the hard flooring, echoing down the hall. She arrived to her room where she pushed open the door and glanced in for the first time. It was kind of like a Greek Auditorium, where the farther the seats got back the higher they were with a podium in the middle.

Lilith set her stuff underneath the podium and put a few more secret things here and there for emergencies. You never know what psycho would come into this classroom and challenge them, which simply made everything more excited.
As she got her paper ready, Lust waited for her first set of students to trickle in.

Samantha the very first student to skip into class that day, eagerly looking forward to class that day. Looking upon the lovely classroom, she smiled and made her way down to the second to front row on the left, passing by a few other students as she took her seat. What's that? How did she pass other students if she had been the first to skip in? Well that's simple, she was the first to skip into class. EVERYONE ELSE WALKED LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE!

With that said, Samantha was still one of the first students there; eagerly awaiting her first class session. She wondered what Lust had in store, trying not to stare at the lovely creature. By now she had heard other people describe her...lovely features, and she knew that something was up. Stupid... she thought, mentally kicking herself for having fortified eyes that could see through illusions for eyes that could shoot people. She couldn't exactly call Solaris either, despite how many spirits she knew he had floating around. Oh well, at least she was now aware that something was up. But was she somehow seeing the REAL Lilith? Or was that just another illusion that was tailored to Samantha's specific likes? Considering how much she liked the way Lilith looked right now...she had to assume the latter.

Samantha let a lot of thoughts flow through her mind as she sat with her elbows on the table, chin resting on the backs of her hands. She stared at Lilith, thinking of tests and mind games she could use on her teacher. She slowly smiled, staring dreamily. She'd already gotten a few ideas.

Harpy had been waiting on the class to start for a long time now and well she was very excited to see how the class would go. Before Horrace's class she had seen this class as her probable favorite but how Horrace taught his class and how he handled things made his class her current favorite. Though she was hopping that this one would challenge that place as she walked in with a smile wearing her regular costume she wore at school which was basically just a normal girl that looked different from how she normally looked with a bunch of face paint in dark colors that had different designs everyday, today's was tribal looking with one half of a broken heart on each cheek.

She noticed Samantha and smiled brightly the two having had bonded and became fast friends the same day they met and had moved into a dorm room together. She walked over and lpt forward onto the table and lifted her legs so she could slide all the way over to where samantha was. She then plopped her feet down on the seat in front of her that a student was about to sit in and smirked to him as if saying "mine" The boy knew like many others what she could do killign wise and what she could do and not cause someone to die and decided not to mess with her and walked off to another seat as Harpy slid off and sat down in the seat next to Samantha.

"Hey Samantha" She said as she pulled out a note book and pencil. Once she had heard that everyone saw lilith differently her factor of what made Harpy like the way she looked so much was destroyed. She was no longer the best cosplay partner ever due to if they cosplayed it would look right to her but not to others which made her probably the worst cosplay partner. Now she was just something pretty to look at and nothing more. So in other words unlike everyone else Harpy wasn't making googly eyes at her.

Students began filing in by groups, a very familiar one decided to skip in unlike others. She was the crazy one that decided to attack someone, which seemed like a waste of talent to Lust. Why have such beautiful powers if you were just going to show off in that instant? Alas, that is just the sin's point of view, she likes to be full of secrets.
Another student came in that was somewhat familiar, she remembered Greed approaching her due to her having some 'unusual' air about her. At least that's what he told her, so Lust simply kept an eye out for her. Most of the other students didn't dare approach her, she was too beautiful for them, per say, giving her no chance to make a first impression.

When everyone arrived, Lust shut the door and stood in front of the podium, looking around. "Hello and welcome to your first day in my class. I don't believe they gave this course a specific name so I will leave it up to you guys to name it whatever you see fit." Lilith opened, leaning against the podium now. "You may refer to me as Madame Lilith." She announced, walking to the side with her heels clicking. "Now in this course I will be dissecting how you think so you can better understand yourself. Once you better understand how you work, or in this case, how the mind works, you can easily manipulate others. That being said, I would like to get to know you better." Lilith continued, smiling.
"Go around the room one by one stating your name along with one power or skill that you have." She asked, pointing towards the right side of the room where a creepy boy with complete yellow skin was sitting.

Oooo~! This DID sound like it was going to be fun~ So Lilith would try to dissect each of their minds and personalities to see how they thought? What a coincidence! A very specific someone else would be doing the EXACT same thing. Or at least attempting such.

But for now, she would go along with the lesson. After all, she was here to learn, not practice; not yet anyway. Samantha would look to and listen to each student that stood up, considering each one. Meanwhile she thought of what she would say herself. Deciding to say something that had already been made plainly obvious, Samantha made her decision and waited for her turn. When that time came, she stood up and spoke with a small, nervous smile as she glanced at all the people looking at her. So much attention... "Um..Hi. My Name is Samantha; and I can make the creepiest faces you've ever seen." That counted as a skill, right? Or was that a talent? Feh, she'd add something else. No, not that...OH! "Also I'm pretty good at sneaking around." Good enough. She didn't want to say absolutely everything about herself. But that wouldn't come until later. Until then, she needed to keep SOME surprises, as hard as it was for her to do so. She sat back down, listening to the rest of the students and waiting for more of the lecture.

Harpy glanced over to Lust seeing her eye her but didn't pay too much mind to it which her lack of interest in her was probably the reason why she was staring at her cause she did stand out being the only one not drooling on her. She then rose an eyebrow as she said that she was going to try and learn more about them based on the lessons shed be teaching.

Now the question would be, what persona should she use cause there was no way in hell that she was going to give out information about herself to everyone in the room. She then blinked as she said only one power or skill and she relaxed a bit, good she wouldn't have to make up something about her at home life. She then looked to Samantha as she went and stated what she could do and tried not to laugh figuring Samantha was just making a joke and found it funny. She then added that she can sneak around well. She she was done having chosen a seat right next to her it was Harpy's turn. Harpy stood up then and kept a straight face and a tone to match.

"I'm Harpy..... and I can make myself look like any of you...." She said plainly before sitting back down leaning back in her seat waiting for the rest of the class to finish. She had chosen the straight face and a similar tone to see what Lust would do with the given information of how she clearly picked a false name, a barely descriptive skill/power tat you couldn't tell if it was a skill or power now how she could do it, and how she spoke and relayed the information. What conclusion would Lust come up with on what kind of person she was? Would she be able to tell that the way she presented it was just to see if she could throw off Lust and throw out the information she gave? She was very interested in how Lust would take the information.

As each student introduced themselves one by one, a particular student stuck out to her. It was the girl that attacked during the opening ceremony, she seemed very bright and happy despite the monster living inside of her. This would be a great tactic to use against people, if she was trained the right way. Lilith made a mental note to talk to her after class.
Once they all finished, Lust looked around the room and let silence fall upon everyone before speaking again. "HIVE is a school, yes, but it is also a partnership between us to take down people in our way. That being said, just as I plan on getting to know you guys, I want you all to get to know me. We might end up working together to earn points and I really want to beat my brother." Lilith explained to them all, chuckling at her own words. "Those her preform are rewarded. Simple as that."

"Now, some of you have already had classes while today is others first day of class. Because of this, I would like to give you a tour of HIVE along with where we will spend most of our time." She told the class, opening to the door and waiting for a second. "Now if you please follow me I will begin our tour." She said politely, waiting a few more moments before leaving the classroom.
The sin would start down the hallway from the uppermost corner of classrooms down towards the dormitories. "We have a map if you get lost, but there are plenty of signs and such just in case, this place used to be an underground temple dedicated to a demon where it stretched miles and miles about. The HIVE founders sectioned off a large portion of the area where HIVE would be built to make it a school among others." She explained, leaving out the part that she was the demon that was worshiped here.

"Any questions so far?"

Samantha listened eagerly to Lilith, hoping to learn something fun. Seemed that today was just introductions, though. Still, she was really looking forward to what would come.

Lilith actually seemed to be alright from what she was saying so far. Samantha had decided not to trust her, but that didn't means she couldn't like the woman, still. The tour was nice, and she enjoyed the excuse to stretch her legs and practically be escorted to snoop around, and skipped happily through the whole thing. At the end of it all, she didn't really have any questions. Well she did have one, but she should probably save that one; so the pint sized girl kept silent.

Harpy watched her speak and took notes on what she said already even though it seemed just to be a hello nice to meet you message. She seemed to note what she said word for word and her expressions and how she said things not really even looking down at her note book as she took notes. Harpy saw her leave then ad shrugged waiting a bit for people to follow her out before climbing on the desk grabbing her note book and hopped form one table to the other till she was on ground floor again. She followed the others out and kept taking notes of what lilith said ad did and acted. She eyed Lilith as she spoke and rose her hand then, If called shed speak out with a plain face. "Who did they worship...?" She asked bluntly looking her right in the eyes as she did so.

While waiting for questions, she answered a few here and a few there, only to those who raised their hands. A familiar face asked who the people worshiped which made Lilith smirk. She seemed to catch on to things rather fast, which was a refreshing thing to see in this city. Lately it seemed like Lust had to spell things out for people or they would go and completely mess everything up.
"They worshiped a demon of sin and lust." She told the class, scanning her eyes around the students then landing back on Harpy. She'd give her a nod of acknowledgement and then continued the class down the hall.

As she showed the class more rooms and such they finally came upon the training room where all the fun would begin. "This is the Training Center which is sectioned off into five different areas." She begun to explain while walking the class past the different rooms. "The first room is a Melee weapon training room. They have all the weapons you need for Melee action along with the obstacles and dummies to practice on." Lust went on, walking towards the next room. "This is the training room for long ranged room, equipped with your dummies and obstacles fit for the weapons at hand." She continued, walking down the hallway where they'd come up to another set of rooms.
"Here is a room that has constant supervision on it. It's the reality simulator, if you ask the supervisors, you can change the room to any scenario you please. Whether it be ancient Rome, a maze, a land of ash, or even your own home. It can all be made here." Lilith continued, stopping and watching as the room turned from complete white to an under water temple, the students inside had the task to get the giant pearl before drowning. They also had the option to shock each other, the catch was that they only had one charge of shock. It was a game Lilith would like to play eventually.

When they came to the next room Lilith gave off a smirk to her class, followed by pointing at the complete white room. "Room 4 and 5 is where we will be spending most of our time in this class. Room 4 specifically.." She added before entering the room. Room 4 is completely white with cushioned walls, along with a low light to give it a quiet mood. "This is the zen room. It is sound proof both ways and has options to make it the most pleasing for whatever mood you are looking for. Not only can you conduct moods subconsciously by using light, color can help as well. This room has the ability to change both light and color which allows you to dictate the situation." She explained thoroughly, leading the class out of the fourth Room and to the last one.

"Last but not least, the torture room. We will spend time here later in the semester, but will focus more on torture of the mind, the itty gritty stuff would be for an entirely different course." She said while letting the class look through one way glass. "Especially with more and more power house heroes popping up around Jump City, you'll need to use their most powerful aspect against them." She said while tapping the side of her head.
"Before I show you all a little... presentation.. Any questions?"

Samantha followed silently through the tour. She didn't take any notes or ask any questions. One might think she wasn't paying much attention, but she was keeping track of everything said. Melee training room? Sounded nice, but she didn't use any weapons. Ranged training? Same deal. She didn't need weapons, and dummies provided no use at all to train on.

Then the rooms started getting interesting. Reality simulation? A very nice room to have, and one not to be trusted by Samantha. Then a completely white, soundproof room and no features? That sounded like a room to trust even less. That kind of room was perfect for some kinds of psychological torture. Wait, an actual torture room was next? That could be fun; most likely room to be trustworthy in Samantha's opinion.

Any questions? None at all. The little pint-sized bundle of nightmares smiled brightly and bounced up and down a bit to vent excitement for the upcoming presentation; but said nothing at all.

Wait, did Lilith say this place was made to worship a demon of sin and lust? Interesting. Samantha would remember it, but didn't think too much of it just yet.

Harpy smirked at the answer and the looks she got as she wrote down the answer as she followed lust onward. She looked at the rooms as they went through each one and eyed the different weapons in each that they went by. Harpy grinned a bit as she watched the people inside carefully before continuing on. She looked at the next room as they passed it, it looked more like a padded cell to her than a zen room. Harpy then entered the torture room she had already bee in here a few times now before and already knew most to all it could offer.

Harpy then smiled at the thought of a presentation she couldn't wait to see it and ave a good laugh but he rose her had and spoke when called on. "There's no restriction to how many people we can store i there wile torturing them correct? I'd rather not brig in too may then get in trouble for over filling the room." She said rather casually.

Harpy asked another question, wondering how many people you could fit in there without getting in trouble. "You could probably fit up to 12 people without having a space issue, know that many classes uses this room so you'll have to ask a teacher for access before using it. Teachers can then give you a certain amount of time you are able to have the room." Lust explained while shutting the door behind everyone. The sin would then return to the front of the class while scanning over all the students, her eyes landing on a student in the back that hadn't been paying attention at all this entire class period.
Lilith pointed at him with a smirk "Jean, come to the front please." She ordered him. The boy stopped dead when he knew what was going on, but quickly recovered, he had to keep his cool in front of the class of course.

"Now Jean, by your body language which is hood up, hunched over, hands in pocket, in the most condensed part of the crowd, and your body is always angled I can tell you're trying to not look suspicious and not stick out. However, contrary to popular belief, sticking out or hiding in plain site is the best way to blend in. I could scan past all of you several times and only a few will stick out to me because the rest of you are acting nonchalant about things." The sin explained, leading them towards a bench where she'd make Jean sit on it.
"Being a street performer, an average pedestrian, or someone desperately trying to get to work is a great cover up when attempting to get recon or kidnap anyone. This will be on the test in a few weeks." Lilith continued, turning her attention back to Jean, the only reason she brought that up was due to Harpy's question.

The sin looked directly into Jean's eyes, her face turning from casual to a keen focus. She did this for 20 seconds then coughed, rubbing her own eyes. "That always hurts my eyes like a $%@# afterwards." She mumbled, turning back to class.
"Since I am not authorized to break my students mentally, I turned to reading his entire life story. This confirmed my suspicions before I tell you guys. Jean Von Den is a fake name and he isn't from France as he suggests with his fake accent. They do not use such harsh vowels in the language, learn before you pretend.' She told him, turning back to the class, he was beet red by now. "Jean, better known as Alex, is still unsure about being here due to a moral delema, this is why he is constantly trying to hide. He grew up in Jump and lost his entire family in the Russian war and is trying to use HIVE to make those pay."

"That is not your face either." She added with a smile, before crossing her arms. "Class, we will be going over body language and popular connotations with those in class, so don't forget to bring a notebook or laptop."
Alex scurried off into the back of the class, looking violated of sorts, some eyes looked at her with shock. "Now since I officially violated a students mind, you guys can fire away questions about me and my personal life, it's only fair."

...so Harpy planned on torturing a lot of people. Fun fun? Samantha wondered if Harpy had someone in mind, or just planed to bring back whomever she felt like.

Samantha stood still and watched as Lilith called a student up in front of the class, and then proceeded to tell everything about Jean...err..Alex. Samantha honestly wasn't impressed and her face showed it. If she had a lolipop she'd be paying more attention to that then Lilith's little display of, 'look what I know' nonsense. It did, however, present a very good opportunity for Samantha to make friends with Alex. She'd have to remember to go back and console him later. An ally that had good reason to hate Lilith and seek vengeance on her would be useful in the future.

For now, she found herself occupied. Lilith said for them to ask any questions about her. Samantha's eyes went wide, and her pupils flashed to a white shade before returning to their normal blue color. She started bouncing excitedly and raised her hand to get some attention. "Oh! Oh! I have some!" she yelled; again getting attention before she stopped and stood still. And then...the onslaught of questions. "What's your favorite color? What's your favorite drink? What's your favorite food? What's your favorite gender? Do you HAVE a favorite gender? Do you have a boyfriend? What was your last long-term relationship? Have you ever loved anyone? If so, who? Where were you born? Got any family? Why did you decide to teach here? Have you ever been blackmailed before? Do you have any pets? What do you do with all your dead bodies? Do you have any self-esteem issues? Are you SURE you don't have any self-esteem issues? Do you honestly think you're a very good liar? And finally..." she put her hand down. "Can everyone else see how ugly you really are? Or is it just me?"

Now Samantha didn't have her true sight anymore...and she couldn't tell what Lilith ACTUALLY looked like...but giving the impression to all the present students that she knew something they didn't could be VERY useful in the future. She wasn't sure how yet, but there was no telling.

Harpy blinked and perched her lips a bit moving them off to the side as she looked down to her note book and wrote down. 'Note Self: Stop using the torture room without permission.' She then watched Lilith leave then return after a a bit in the room. She smirked seeing the guy get pointed out and having to sit on the bench that they all went over to. Harpy took more notes perusal as she started to talk and underlined the words she said previously after hearing that it would be on a test.

Harpy wrote down the story word for word listening to every word spoken and taking notes on his facial expression trying not not laugh as she did so. He wanted to try to take down all of Russia for losing his family? All the pain and suffering he must have endeared made it oh so hard not to laugh at the pathetic fool and the fact he was going to try and fail an die when attacking Russia was the best part!

She found it so hard to hold in her laughter as she held a hand over her mouth and clenched her eyes shut but she peeks them open seeing his look on his face as he passed by and she couldn't hold it in any longer. she bursted into laughter laughing loudly smiling brightly she looked like she was having a laugh attack at the moment and it lasted a very long time before she managed to hold it in just long enough for Samantha to ask her questions before she couldn't help but let out the laugh again holding her sides as she teared up she was laughing so hard.
