Kitty's First Day (B-Team!)

It was early in the morning and the girl woke up slowly, yawning and stretching out with feline grace. This was an exciting but anxiety ridden day and she was thrilled to get it started. The girl walked up to the mirror and brushed her long silver hair as her tail swayed gently behind her. She bit her lip and thought about what she should do about her unusual features.

The last time she had stepped outside was five years ago. The day that her powers had showed themselves. Her father called her a freak of nature and didn't want her to go out at all. When he lost his life in the war though, Emily asked her mother if she could attend Murakami High School. She had heard from the internet that they had a new class of all mutants and she might actually fit in!

But that didn't mean she was ready to actually accept herself. The girl got dressed and then put on a hoodie, tucking her ears beneath it. She then wrapped her tail around her waist like a belt and put the hoodie over it. She looked in the mirror again and sighed lightly. She could tell she was hiding something, but it was the best she could do.

When she got to school, she bit her lip, holding her books tight to her chest. The girl kept her head down as she walked down the hallway and to the classroom marked as 1-B. She slowly walked through the door and blushed lightly as she saw she was the first in the room. The girl walked up to the teacher and gave her the note that said she was joining this class as of today. She then looked around and decided that the left back hand corner of the room would be best.

Fenrir woke with the sun, a fact that drove him nuts. He'd love to get a day to sleep in, not to mention that until recently he didn't have much to do during the day and spent most of his time walking around trying to entertain himself. But now? Well he had a class to be studious about. That was good.

Though he didn't go on the first day to class, he wouldn't want to miss many more days. He made sure to get to class early to be sure he made it. When he did there was only one other kid there, and not one that he knew. He only knew the three that helped him find the cat.

Deciding to be friendly, he went to the back left corner and sat next to her. He observed her quickly. It seemed like she was trying to hide something. Maybe her power came with something like his whisker marks?

"Hi, I'm Fenrir."

Class B, or B-team as everyone was calling each other, had gained a few new members who were not there on the first day, and so had not heard the introduction. Because of that, they did not know that the class did not take place in the classroom it was officially assigned to. Since they would probably be confused about that, Amber decided that she would go visit the classroom to see if any new arrivals were in, even though really it was their fault for being stupid enough to miss the first day.

Amber sighed, she was going to be late for this, and walked into the classroom a few seconds after the bell rang, no doubt those two would be confused as to why no one was there so late. She looked to the back of the room and saw the two there, she walked over and her eyes would go blank for a second, but only long enough to find out the girl's name, rather than scanning her whole mind Hi Emily, I'm Amber she would give her a second to react before she addressed both of them We don't use this classroom for this class, I'll show you guys were to go from now on

As soon as he spoke, her ears immediately perked up to the sound and she went wide eyed, holding them down as quick as possible. The kitten's cheeks instantly reddened and she stifled a meow from escaping. She looked up at him shyly but smiled gently. "N-nice to meet you, Fenrir... I'm Emily..." When her ears finally settled down, she let go of them and prayed he didn't notice anything.

Before he got the chance to say anything else, the bell rang. Emily looked around and was severely confused when she didn't see anybody else. But then another girl walked in and she thought that maybe everyone was supposed to show up after the bell. She had no idea. Then the girl used her name before she even said anything to her. Maybe they new that she was the new girl? But then what about Fenrir.

...Her head was spinning...

And then it made a little more sense. She couldn't stop herself. "...nyaaa... I-I'm so sorry! I-I just assumed because this was the class... Umm..." She got up and collected her books frantically, feeling like an absolute idiot.

Hikari showed up to Murakami High School that day. How peculiar that they were using the dialect from her homeland to name their schools. She didn't find it insulting or anything, but she certainly did find it odd. She entered the school with her backpack hauled onto her back, and it was full of books that she could read (She had stopped at the local library on the way over), but it still held all the essentials; pencils and paper and such.

She came to the classroom she was told would be teaching them, but found three people there, who were actually currently discussing why this was not the classroom they were supposed to go to. Hikari hung at the door, pulling out a book and reading it quietly as she waited for all of them to get up and follow the one that apparently knew the location. When they did, she would follow closely behind the cat, but still read her book. She got a few noticeable glances from boys walking by and even some comments, but didn't react even slightly to them. Her reading was much more important.

Fenrir noticed her ears jump when he spoke, but finding the source of the mysterious lumps in her hood was a different story. When she looked at him she seemed normal for the most part but he still couldn't help but feel something was off. Something was on her head. Perhaps she had a transformation power like him?

Before he could start a conversation, a familiar face walked in. Fen stared at the mind reader with a blank expression, scuffing to himself a bit. "You know it's more polite to ask someone their name rather than pry into their thoughts and take the information, Amber."

Though he wasn't honestly surprised that a child with a power like that was immature. He'd do the same. "Could you take us to the real classroom then, please?" He tried his best to sound nice again. Manners were important when asking for a favor.

If the girl was kind enough to show them around, Fenrir would help Emily carry her books and follow with the group. He didn't have any books with him anyway. He wouldn't introduce himself to the quiet bookworm, finding her eavesdropping to be borderline rude and mildly annoying.

Amber smiled to herself at the confusion she had caused for Emily, when Fenrir called her out on it Amber just shrugged I was just messing with her, I didn't scan her brain for anything private she then noticed that Fen's tone changed when he asked her to lead them, which made her smile Alright then, since you asked so nicely

She didn't help Emily with her books, or even glance at Hikari, she would just start walking Come along if they didn't keep up she'd just go without them. She led them to the football field, at first they may be confused as to where they would be lead but then they would see other people training their powers.

Once they reached the field, Amber would turn to the others Alright, now basically you just spend the hour training your powers. If you'd like you can go it alone, or you can partner up with someone and train together. You can also ask Mr Black over there, but he's kinda scary she shrugged and would go off on her own unless anyone had any questions, or if they wanted to partner up with her.

Emily was still so confused by everything. Apparently Fenrir knew Amber, so that meant that he had at least met some of their classmates before. Amber had mind reading powers which is why she knew her name... Did that mean she knew her power too?? Well, she said she didn't scan her brain for anything private, so that was good to know. Emily let out a small sigh of relief. She then quickly followed behind Amber, almost not realizing that Fenrir was helping her with her books. She quickly turned back to him and couldn't hold back a small meow before blushing brightly. "Th-thank you for the help..."

Then she realized that they were being left behind. She ran to catch up and noticed the other girl. She just gave her a sweet smile and a wave because she didn't want to fall behind again.

When they got to the football field, Emily got scared. And then her fears were fully awakened as Amber told them what they were supposed to be doing. Her eyes went wide and she shook her head, taking a few steps back. "I-i'm not ready for that! Sh-shouldn't that be, like, homework or something??" Her heart was starting to race and if she didn't get it under control soon, she'd be in trouble.

Titus looks up, and his eyes widen as he sees new people,his shades slipping down. Of course, the Wall he's standing on flickers, and fades, sending him plummeting to the ground. The young meta puts up a slanted wall, and slides to the ground. He gets up, picking up his shades and putting them back on as his face reddens.

( sigh....always falling...)

Hikari followed the group to the location they were actually supposed to meet at, memorizing it for later. Hikari saw they were going to the football field, and came upon other people practicing their powers. She snapped her book shut promptly, looking around at all of the other people, before returning her gaze to those present.

He noticed Emily running to keep up with them, though Hikari had been lingering behind a bit waiting for her, and when Emily offered her a smile, she smiled warmly in turn, though she still didn't say anything.

Emily did seem worried, however, when Amber said that they would just be practicing their powers for an hour. Amber started walking away, and Hikari looked at Emily, offering a slight smile. "We did come here to practice our abilities...perhaps you would like to practice with me?" Her voice was soft and kind, clearly not used much. She also had a high quality word structure. Perhaps the fact English was only recently mastered was evident.

Fenrir gave a smirk when the girl meowed at him. He was starting to form an idea of what the girl was. They ears perking in the hood and a cat meow. Maybe a Neko? "Always here to help a pup in need."

He flashed a friendly smile, first impressions meant a lot to him and he didn't want to make any more enemies. He still wasn't a fan of that Eli kid, or Amber for that matter. The idea of someone running through his head agitated him. Then he made sure to catch up with the group when Emily noticed how far behind they fell.

When Amber explained how the class went, Fenrir was unimpressed. Emily seemed terrified, wondering if that should be homework. He decided to try and soothe the girls worries. "Don't you think the training will be more effective if you learn with other people? Besides, we got a safety instructor to make sure nobody gets hurt."

Then the quiet tag along proposed that Emily and her team up. "How about we get to know each others powers today, before we team up? Might help with training."

He honestly had no idea how to activate his power without being angry. He wasn't looking forward to working with the clumsy wall boy or having his mind read. The two new girls seemed far more preferable.

Amber noticed that Emily was very obviously distraught by the fact that they had to be training their powers, Amber didn't know what she was expecting, did she think that a team entirely for kids with powers would not involve using those powers? Did she think it would be a social club? Whatever. Hikari volunteered to practice with Emily and then Fenrir suggested that they tell each other their powers to be better at teamwork. Emily mumbled under her breath I guess you need to be cute to be liked around here it was also the fact that Emily didn't have a power that made people unnerved around her, although Amber had not quite come to that epiphany yet.

Emily looks around the field, her heart still pounding in fear. Her eyes land on one boy in particular just as he falls. Her eyes go wide and she shakes her head again. She didn't want to do this. It was too soon for everyone to start practicing their powers, in her opinion. They should have to study them and write papers and dialogue first! This should not be a learning curve where you have to dive in face first!

The girl was so lost in her trainwreck of thoughts that she almost forgot she was around three other people as well. That was, until the quiet girl asked if she wanted to partner up with her. Emily's entire face reddened.

Then, to make matters worse, Fenrir suggested they actually talk about their powers!! Emily wasn't ready! Didn't she just get through saying that?? This whole thing was making her lose herself... And that wasn't good. The girl was about to give them exactly what they wanted...

"I-I don't wan-nyaaa~!!" The girl shrunk down within her clothes until finally she had completely transformed into a small, silver kitten. Emily stayed under the hoodie, shivering and meowing softly.

Titus blinks as the girl shrinks.His brow furrowing in concern, hecwalks over, kneeling down and examining the bundle, and hears meowing. His eyes widen, and he makes shoothing noises."Hey..hey...i-itll be o-okay.....You won't be...judged...." Despite being sdurrounded by new vpeople, he forces the words out, his instinct to help taking precedence.

Hikari looked around. Fenrir was becoming a lot more open, if not friendly. He said they had nothing to be afraid of because there was an instructor there, so they had a better chance of learning more if they worked together on their powers. He also said that maybe they should discuss their powers before learning who to team up with.

Hikari nodded to Fenrir. That seemed like the best approach. She looked to Amber walking away, smiling very slightly. "Thank you for showing us the way, Amber. Would you like to practice with us?" She then looked at Emily as she got really embarrassed, turning into a cat. A boy that fell down earlier came to console her, and she picked up the bundle of clothes, letting Emily remain inside. It was only natural to assume she would be...suitably embarrassed if she changed back without them.

"He is right...we all have powers we are not sure how to master yet. That is why we all are here. Please calm down and return, neko, so we may learn together," she said, lightly petting her through the clothes.
