"But... did he really control me, or did he just bring out a darkness that's already there?" — Kara Zor-El about her possession
Kara-El was an entity created by the intergalactic overlord ruler of Apokolips, Darkseid, as the antithesis to his escaped Captain of the Honor Guard; Kara Zor-El, the girl known today as Power Girl. He used Black Kryptonite and merged it with a sample of Kara's DNA which he had obtained during her time as his subordinate, and cloned the original. With a touch of black. She is now on planet Earth, just looking for that one chance to wipe her other self off the plane of existence, thereby asserting her right as the only Kara Zor-El.
Full Name: Kara Zor-El Codename: Matrix Alias(es): Kara-El, the $%@# of Steel, Darkseid's $%@# Age: 17 Classification: Doomsday-wannabe
Hair Color: Blonde Eye Color: Deep Blue Height: 5'7"
Powers and Weaknesses:
Kryptonian Physiology: Because this evil Kara Zor-El sprang from the original Kara Zor-El, the current Power Girl, and she is the evil counter-part of the good Kara - the once being a single entity - Matrix's powers closely parallel Power Girl's. As a result, Matrix has powers that are similar to Power Girl's (flight, superhuman strength and speed, invulnerability, heat vision, super hearing, x-ray vision, telescopic and microscopic vision, and super breath.) and she shares her vulnerability to Kryptonite.
She was also weakened by red sun radiation and presumably has the same problems with magic. However, unlike Power Girl who due to her young age still cannot fly, Matrix has the ability to do so and thanks to training with the Furies she has become a master of this ability. According to Superman, the skill requires complete control of all emotion, which would not prove difficult for Matrix with her one-track mentality.
Likes: Darkseid, herself, opium, Marlboro (cigarette), parties, drinking booze, guys, relaxing, hot springs, Krypton being destroyed (makes her rather unique in the universe, no?), the way Earth is, being able to fly, maiming her good counterpart, maiming people in general, winning, spiders, wrath, greed, being lazy, being proud, sex, others being envious of her, and being the personal $%@# of one of the most powerful intergalactic tyrants in existence.
Dislikes: Kara Zor-El (good), Kal-El, Bruce, Diana, Krypton, Mr. and Mrs. Kent, Kent Farm, Smallville, House of El, Earth, Themyscira/The Amazons, Teen Titans, Justice League, heroes in general, chastity, temperance, charity, diligence, patience, kindness, and humility.
Equipment: Mother-Box, a box of cigarettes, and an opium pipe (the last two are the only things that are actually useful on this miserable planet anyways).
Habits/Quirks: Killing animals and insects, laughing insanely when torturing someone or something, flirting, intimidating others into worshiping her, smoking cigarettes, smoking opium, being plain evil.
Personality: Matrix relentlessly drills herself towards perfection and settles for nothing less from herself or those that serve her. She believes that power and domination are what makes a person strong. She has absolute confidence in her "divine right to rule" which she believes she was born with. She has neither pity nor mercy towards those she marks as treasonous or inferior.
Matrix is marked by a distinct lack of empathy. She is prone to asserting herself and her authority in a grandiose way. She also shows a need for admiration from her "noble master", Uxas (Darkseid), whom she emulates to a great degree, and to a lesser extent from everyone else around her. She is marked as one of the cruelest characters in the RPG. From a very young age, Matrix demonstrated sadistic aggression and a near total lack of remorse to friends, servants, family, and animals which suggests that she could be suffering from an antisocial personality disorder. Even Granny Goodness once remarked, "What is wrong with that child?” after observing her casual cruelties.
Matrix's characteristic deep blue eyes symbolize the power she possesses and constantly seeks to increase. Her apathy also accounts for her ability to sustain and direct herself during flight, a power which the original Kara has yet to acquire. According to Superman, the skill requires complete control of all emotion, which would not prove difficult for Matrix with her one-track mentality. Because of these skills, she is also an excellent tactician, regularly displaying cunning, perception, and resourcefulness that allows her to take advantage of almost any situation. She possesses good self control, facing down her enemies and deceiving them when held captive, and can lie with a straight face and no physical reactions.

I do expect you keep watch when someone uses her if they stay in character. | |
