Thanks to the magical plants in the infirmary, Toji had finally recovers the use of his arm, though it took a month, and he was still sensitive......Anyway, today Toji was doing something special for the team. There's one last strike, and a huge blast of blue tinged light spreads out. It fades, revealing that the ingot had a blue irrisidence to it, and was covered in mystical symbols. Anyone sentisive to magic would feel a huge source of holy power pouring out of the metal, and same with the others lyingj g beside the anvil.Despite that, Toji grunts in satisfactio , gatherjng them up without discomfort and going to the main ops room. The halfling lays out the blocks in a row on a table, calling out to his pack." Guys, I have somethung for you!! Com here!!!"

Kristen was sitting on the couch, channel surfing. She turned the TV off when she sensed the holy presence coming from the metal bars that had been set on the table across from her by Toji. "How can you even get near those without bursting into flames?" she asked, half jokingly. "What are they, even?"

Annie had sensed previously that Toji had been hard at work on something, though she herself had been busy getting settled in and used to her new home.  It was a really cool place; they even had giant wolves!  Kasha got along with them pretty well.  

Soon enough, Toji called the titans to see what he had for them.  Kasha arrived before Annie did, strolling into the room in his wolf form.  The canine stopped and watched until Annie arrived, and both eyed the bars.  Annie looked to Toji.  "Yeah, what are they?" she asked simply, just as curious as Kristen.

Toji blinks, then grins." Aaah, well..." He assumes a wise look, then picks up his tanto." These are this." He let's a beat pass, hopefully long enough to confuse his two packsisters., then grins." That is, they're what this comes from. They're Okamian Arms ingots, blessed by the Forger himself!! And that's why I'm not shuddering at the moment. And as you're Pack, they'll work for you, even our...ahem, less then blessed inclined packmembers,........"He grins." Its quite simple really...you pick them up, hold them, and think about everything that makes you, you.Making them is the hard part.Oh, and remember, the form that arrives first is the base form. Toji explained the ingots, and why their holiness did not harm him; they were blessed by his god, the Forger. Kristen listened intently, and when Toji finished, she stood and picked up an ingot, putting it flat to her hand. "Alright, I'll give it a try." Kristen felt the holy energy coming off the ingot, and it was surprisingly warm to the touch.

She closed her eyes, focusing on who she was, what she was, and what she fought for. She reflected on her past, the good and bad that occurred then; what she experienced and what she learned.

Her past... it was coming back to haunt her. Khariel had returned, and the seven Angelic Reapers were on his tail. No doubt they would come for her as well, and they would probably wreak tremendous havoc on the city and its inhabitants in the process. Kristen's concentration wavered momentarily, spirit pressure flaring.

At that moment, the ingot's own holy presence made contact with her own. The contact of the two unfamiliar to each other, yet compatible forces would be felt by Kristen and anyone else spiritually sensitive in the room. The ingot liquefied in Kristen's hand presently, the mystical silver-grey metal coating her palm.

As two unfamiliar wolves analyze each other to determine a sense of familiarity and camaraderie, so too did the two differing holy energies merge closer together to form an eternal bond. Kristen felt her spiritual presence stabilize as she calmed. The two energies had merged successfully.

'Don't fear the past, cub. Maybe you cannot change it, but it's best to make the most of what comes next, right?'

Kristen's eyes flew open, resting on a burly man armed with a blacksmith's hammer that had appeared behind Toji. The man broke out a genuine smile, grinning at Kristen. This was the Forger, Raikou Okami. Creator of Toji's race and the one responsible for the blessing upon the Okamian ingots.

Kristen wasn't sure if the god was visible to anyone else, and she couldn't at the moment bring herself to ask. The liquefied Okamian metal in her hand that should have started dripping on the floor was now pooling just under her hand in the air.

'It isn't often the eagle will land among wolves,' he continued, 'But perhaps when the other birds of prey deem it unworthy, it seeks sanctuary among the predators of the earth.'

He looked at Kristen with a determined smile. 'Just know that I treat any ally of an Okamian as my own! Now that you wield one of my sacred weapons, I will help you forge what your past has made of you into a tool to forge a greater future!'

With that, the Forger faded from sight. When Kristen looked back to her hand that held the Okamian Steel, she noticed that the base form had completed its transformation.

The Okamian Steel had taken the form of a sophisticated yet deadly looking rapier. The steel had lightened in colour with engravings in black circling the hilt. Cyan and gold reflected off the blade when caught in the light. Kristen felt the combined energies of the Forger and her own Nephilim lineage course in unison through the weapon.

"It's been awhile since I've wielded a longblade," she spoke finally, "But I suppose it wouldn't hurt to start practicing again."
