| Nina just kept hidden in the pipe, she wasn't built for flipping around and doing twirls and fancy fighting, the only cool thing foxes had was an ability to catch prey by leaping up at them at a certain angle to make a successful kill, she did now remember she had her clone still and smiled a little, watching Quinn do some fancy stuff she decided to wait before she brought her clone in, once Quinn was done with the fancy stuff she'd her her clone pull Iskara into the water or something and maybe sit on her head or the usual kind of make-do fighting she could muster from her clones. | |

| Even more alarming than the last revelation. The second intruder's dexterity went unhindered, she was as lithe and nimble as ever. Her movements were well balanced and done without hesitation, brimming with confidence. Iskra would even swear she was... sober! But that was impossible, the Russian knew for certain a quantity of her blood was currently pure alcohol. She would fail a DUI test ten times over. For all the metahumans she had trained with and grown up with, Iskra had yet to met a single one that didn't succumb to her signature move.
Demidenko was suddenly far less cocksure. She sensed that her attacker had gone airborne again. Rigorous quick-draw style drilling allowed her to react quickly to this change in events. It was true Iskra did carry a firearm. But one more in the literal sense than her opponents might have suspected. In a subconscious movement she had unholstered her gun - a handheld flamethrower. The weapon was brought to bare on her acrobatic foe. Without flight Quinn wasn't going to dodge this one. And whilst covered in flammable alcoholic substances she would be quickly engulfed by flame, even if the smallest of tongues licked her skin. The merest touch would leave her a writhing fireball of agony unable to continue the fight or even prolong her own life for more than a minute.
Iskra tightened her finger on the trigger even as she felt her legs go from beneath her.
With a Rambo squeal of courage Demidenko splashed into the sewer channel. She managed to hold on the her gun, but in doing so that restricted the usefulness of one arm. The soldier was left to try and fend of the attack of a waterless apparition using one arm only. A furry weight leapt upon her head and she momentarily flailed for air underwater until that section of the moat drained completely due to her powers. Iskra next tried to grip the fur of the critter so it couldn't go anywhere and unleashed a thunderclap of water into the trench they were left rolling around in. It was like the Closing of the Red Sea.
It was only at the last second Iskra realised the downside of this manoeuvre.

| Whilst the attempt at the lunge attack had ultimately failed. Once Quinn had landed back on solid ground, she couldn't help but feel relieved. She had been all to well aware of the flamethrower, and was fortunately enough to not be engulfed by the flames of a close range shot. It could have been fatal, and Quinn wasn't entirely confident of Nina getting out of there with her body intact. The revival fall back plan was not one that Quinn would want to use right now.
"Unless you want me to carve my name into you, I suggest waving a white flag now - before I change my mind". Quinn would say with intent, she was in a much more powerful position than her opposition who was enjoying a nice sewage-alcoholic bath. Quinn gripped the Karambit blade tightly, awaiting Iskra's next move. Ready to strike if necessary, or even leap out of the way.

| Nina just hid deeper into the pipe and looked back to how far she could go, maybe she would just have to navigate her escape through the pipes to another exit pipe, she turned back to watch Quinn and hoped that the Russian would surrender. | |

| Presumably the clone poofed. That left Iskra lying turtle-back wallowing in sewage. This was not one of those best laid plans of mice and men they spoke of. She sprayed a fountain of water so high it struck the tunnel roof, not that she could see, for her flashlight had been lost in the ensuing kerfuffle. Hearing Quinn speak really brought it home for her. Her opponents simply weren't drunk. Furthermore - one of them was able to move around unseen by her fluid perception (wherever that joker had scurried off to). Which put her at a distinct disadvantage in the dark. She would be dead if she continued.
"Help me out of this filth and you have my express permission to bend me over backwards if you want..." Iskra made no threatening moves. No tensing for a counter-strike. No deployment of her flamethrower. No offensive gestures. She merely floated and waited for her captures to manhandled her whichever way required.
She wasn't a coward. Inside the sewers she still held a distinct advantage over people regardless of whether they were her jailors or not. The Russian agent simply felt her time was better spent getting cleaned up first. Followed by learning as much about her opponents as she could.

| Quinn knew better than to aid someone that waved the flag of an opposing team. Of course there was no immediate threat posed, Iskra simply wanted a little help getting up. But such a luxury would not be afforded. Quinn had other ideas, she would rather keep her sight firmly fixed on the Russian, with her karambit blade ready to strike should there be a need to. "Pick yourself up". No thoughts ran through the head of Quinn about the whereabouts of her comrade. Nina was a smart girl, she could take care of herself. Plus... if things were to go sour, perhaps there was a Fox-themed surprise to be sprung at the Russian, again. | |

| Nina would make a clone to crawl out of the pipe and keep a watchful eye on what was happening outside, if things really got dicey her clone would act as an early alarm system by poofing after being hit by something. For now Nina remained in the pipe and Nina would speak through the clone "how many others are there? Russians that is" spoke the clone calmly with her eyes staring at Iskra with her nocturnal vision. | |
