House call (titans)

It'd been too long in his opinion, in all their operations the titans hadn't even attempted to stop his men. It was time for a check up to see what the issue was. The leader of hive was coming to the tower, not that any of them would know him as a criminal. He'd just lead his group in wiping out the Zydon, the news was heralding the strange being as a hero of legendary proportions. He raised a chitinous hand and knocked on the front door.

The huge insect waited patiently he had no where to be and coming here there was no need for back up. He was coming under a banner of peace not one of violence. He would greet whoever opened the door with a slight bow and begin his introduction. "Hello, my name is Tiberius. I understand you are having a number of issues. I've come to help iron them out. Where would the world be if heroes don't help each other, No?"

OOC: Jak, "And this is my magic murder bag."

The door opened as Hotwire stepped into the light. Daytime light. Compared to the towering form of Tiberious, Hotwire was a runt. But something in both of them had managed to get them to the front of their teams. Hotwire knew who this was before even walking out the door. Tiberious. Leader of the new hive. The were currently a reputable group of heroes, reversing the negative stigma the hive had achieved before the vanishing incident.

Now they had helped prevent one of the greatest callamities to befall earth: The Zydons.

The titans had definately done their fill, done their fighting, but it was the Hive that dealt the killing blow. Hotwire had meant to meet him at some point, and now seemed like as good a time as any.

"Ah the champion of the Zydon war. What do we owe the visit?" Hotwire asked. He told the titans database to register him as a nuetral level 5, meaning the defenses wouldn't attack him, but the system could turn on him at the flip of a switch if he attacked. Just a precaution, and hotwire expected to elevate the giant bug to "non-threat" by the end of the day.

"Eh?" Brave could sense an immense power approaching the tower from his room.

By the time he went to the door to greet whoever the magic source someone was already greeting the strange gentleman at the door. "Hotwire careful around that guy." Kale stepped forward behind his comrade. He had his mage cloak on today and was staring Tiberius down. "He's dangerous."

Tiberius extended a hand toward Hotwire and said. "I understand you're having some issues in the realms of teamwork. Team work is my specialty, I've come to help get your people into shape and upgrade your systems to make you the pinnacle of what you can be." Tiberius gestured as though asking permission to come in.

He glanced up at Kale's warning and said. "Oh you're one to talk my draconic friend. You're quite a destructive power in the city." He stepped in assuming Hotwire wouldn't mind and looked around at the entry hall. "I hope you understand but I'll be keeping my armor on. I don't like people knowing my real face."

As Tiberious entered, he attempted to use his powers to perform a preliminary scan of his armor. Nothing. It must be made of metal. Or perhaps biological armor even. He walked in after him. "Well... we are making steps to improve on our teamwork. The rest of the titans should be upstairs.

Well, all but one of them. Kale showed up, and commented on Tiberious, resulting in a retort from the massive insectoid. Hotwire walked over to the elevator, and opened it. "There's enough room in it for you and me Mr. Tiberious" He stated. "I'll send the elevator back for you in a second Brave."


As he got back into the elevator, he retorted to Kale. "Don't unleash any magical monsters in the tower in the 1 minute it takes for me to send the elevator back." He said the elevator door closing behind him and bringing him, and presumably Tiberious up to the Main ops room. He made sure his network sensors were on high power to prevent any hacking. Just to be safe for the moment. Standard procedure. The elevator would go back down for Kale.

"tch." Kale turned his head, annoyed.

Both of them were taking him lightly or making fun of him. Either way, most people with absurdly high magic powers were something to be wary of in this world from what kale had noticed. He was really the only strong magical presence that actually had the humans best interest at heart...Or rather didn't mean them harm.

Tiberius stepped off the elevator and looked around the tower the secondary brain locking it into memory. He waited for Kale to arrive at the top with them and extended a hand to him to shake. "I'm sorry about what I said. I realize it came out wrong now, I meant to say that you don't actually know me. I'm coming to help you all defend these people better. To work as a team and to better educate you on what intel my sources have." He was genuine in his words they had in retrospect come out wrong. Tib wanted to turn Kale into a scalpel rather than a hammer. Starting off by making him feel hostile would not lead to this.

He would wait to hear from Kale on the response and turned slightly. "So... where are the rest of your team. I figure you should let them all know at once." He shifted his weight from one foot to the other and stretched the two main arms. It was his first time here so he was assessing and taking in the sights.

Hotwire nodded at Tiberious, and pressed a few holo-keys on his wrist com.

"Just sent out a level 2 titans call. If there are any titans in the tower who can feasibly come here, they'll be here. Some of them might be out on patrol right now. It's a small, but important task." Hotwire said. How many times he had just happened to run across a mutant creature, or vicious criminal attack while he was on patrol... he didn't even want to know.

"In the mean time, you mentioned intel?" Hotwire asked. "I find it one of the most important commodities to have on a team like this, in our current world of metahumans and criminal organizations." One of the most important factors in accomplishing any mission is background knowledge. The more you know going into a situation the better. It's good to have knowledge on your enemies, but also your friends. When you have superheroes and supervillains, it's hard to tell who your next opponent will be.

Kale wasn't like humans that were cynical by nature. He had no reason to trust this Tiberius but he had no reason to distrust him either. "And how will you do that monster man?" Kale said with his arms folded. "Where do you hail from anyway? I've never seen your manner of creature on Earth before. Unless the Zoo catalog is off.." Kale wondered this. He knew at least 10,000 Earth creatures and species he could've missed one like this.

Tiberius would have smiled at them if he could, ah to be young again a yearning that never faded after your first thousand years. He tapped his jaw with his talons and said. "Oh yes, see I'm involved with a few underground groups with a vested interest in protecting the humans from needless wars. So we have men scattered across the globe getting information quietly and ensuring that we can help those with a similar goal. And yes all of us in the guild of orderly conduct would agree that patrols are very important." Tiberius walked away from the elevator heading for one of the huge windows looking out over the bay. "However in your current state your team is unfit for my information. That's why I'm here."

He then processed Kale's question and said. "I'm no monster my friend, I'm a Raxicoran. An alien from a nearly dead race, I've recently smelled another in the city, fairly close to the tower in fact." He stared at Kale as though the man should understand exactly what he meant.

"Alright. Looks like you're willing to strike some sort of deal here?" Hotwire asked. "We get information from you... and in exchange we do... what exactly?" Hotwire asked with a tilted head. He mentioned the alien race Raxicorn, which hotwire then noted in his computer. He was already busy typing, so putting in a small entry on the Raxicorns wouldn't be too obvious. Raxicorn, as far as he knew was an insectiod creature. Highly rare, as species has almost died out. Home planet location unknown. Biological Data Unknown.

"Wait, how do we even know this information is good?" Kale spoke to Hotwire, surprised that he was so eager. It was odd for Kale to seem like the voice of caution. "We have no guarantees and no back up for anything you say. We don't even know your true form." Bjorn had evolved recently, meaning this one was also a shapeshifter. Kale knew his power, and it rivaled Bjorns tenfold. He had also seen Bjorns ferocity, this man could be dangerous if he really was playing against them, but again Kale would wait for answers.

"We should determine if what he says is genuine before we agree to anything."

Tiberius laughed when Hotwire asked what he wanted. What they could do for him. He looked at the young man and stepped toward him. "You see the simple way to put it is that none of you can do anything for me. I don't even work for me. Think of me as like humanities grand father. I've watched your race grow from the ground up." The giant looked at them and said. "All I want you to do is to protect the humans better with my help and training. My intel is a bonus but if you don't trust it's genuine that's fine too." Tiberius walked to one of the couches and sat gingerly on it trying not to crush it under his bulk.

He leaned back and put his hand on his chin contemplating what Kale said. "Honestly, you'd just have to take my word for it. I can't prove the intel is good, but it's the same information I work from. Corrupt officials, officers, men who seek gain at the loss of others. The cruel and hateful of the world. I want to see them made to repent boy. And I think that working together we'll be better equipped than competing. You saw what my team was capable of with my planning and intel. You don't want in?"

Hotwire looked to kale and said descretely "I know. You can never be too careful. But this is the guy who drove off the zydons off. We have to show some respect." 

"We would love to accept your deal. We'll look through the intel later and decide what to do with it." He explained to tiberious.

"What do you Earthling's say?" Kale put his hands behind the back of his head. "You're the boss." Kale sat down on the couch and began to eat the TV remote. They had spares anyway. "What else did you come to help us with Insect-Man?"
