New pets! (open)

Bjorn hissed when grabbed and flicked around with his tail trying to grab the gun arm and drag it away. He was using Zack's own arm as a brace against him. "Bad man. It ok eat bad man. Titan's proud I eat the bad man."

Bjorn's body being designed for mobility and flexibility would make it hard to keep a good grip on him. Like it was with any snake shaped creature, but worse because he couldn't fit in your hand. He spit at Zack thick red fluid trying to get it in his eyes. It was nothing special just bloody spit.

At this point, Annie and Kasha were merely waiting out the storm, so to speak. Right now there was nothing she could do except try to leave the way she came, and she decided against that. She stayed right where she was, trying to relax and stay calm. It worked, kind of; what with it being quiet now and safe in a hidden place under Kasha's protective force field. So deciding to take no other course of action for now, Annie and Kasha simply sat and waited.

Bjorn takes advantage of the moment of panic to push himself out. There was no acid just blood. He brought his tail around to slam down in a bid to escape launching himself away. He smashed through the bathroom door and dropped to the floor inside hissing at the entrance. The creature moved behind where the door would swing open and climbed up behind the cover. He was moving into the ceiling for the next bit of planning. He was going to try something different since physical wasn't working.

Annie's eyes widened a little as she sensed the snake-like creature enter into the bathroom. She couldn't hear it because of the shadow cloak, but she could sense it telepathically and knew very well that it was there, and that Zack would probably follow soon afterward. It also seemed that the snake creature was either oblivious to Annie's whereabouts or too preoccupied to care. Either way, Annie decided, again, to stay right were she was. Staying hidden just might keep her out of it, and if not then Kasha's shield remained up around her just in case.

Bjorn slithered through the roof and used his talon to shear through the pipe he intended for it to drop on Zack, he slithered over to the other side and sheared it as well causing the 4 inch copper pipe to drop at him quickly. Bjorn was already moving again needing to get away from the bullets.

[Short post to basically say skip...]

Annie took a few relaxed breaths as the fight continued outside. So far she felt safe enough where she was, and decided not to move until she knew the fight had ended or moved away.

Bjorn was unprepared for the round that tore through the cieling. The bad man predicted him. He took a round through one of his legs tearing it from his body. There was a screech of pain and he fell off the pipe his alien body stopped blood flowing to that section of his body though which would prevent him bleeding out. The pain and fear wracked Bjorn's body, he knew he didn't have long and had to throw himself against a wall where his remaining legs clung to it's surface. He was silent trying hard to go unnoticed. Maybe the crazy man would think he was dead. That was about the best Bjorn could logically hope for right now. Well that or being rescued by an empath.

The empath was still where she was before, feeling the fight go on outside. She felt the sudden sharp pain in Bjorn when he was struck with the bullet. The sudden sensation of fear and pain that went through Bjorn also affected Annie, causing her eyes to go wide with worry for him. The creature was scared, and at this point was just trying to survive. It was fearing for it's life and Annie likewise feared that Zack was going to try and kill it. She didn't know what the creature was exactly, but she couldn't allow herself to feel that kind of thing about to happen and do nothing about it.

Sensing that neither the creature nor Zack would deliberately harm her, Annie took a moment to force herself to tell Kasha to drop the shield. As soon as he did, Annie opened the cabinet door and let him hop out. He made his way to the bathroom door, and with a good deal of effort he squeezed his way under it to get outside. It wasn't easy though, and actually was a reoccurring problem. ("Note to self; develop a form that can easily get past doors...WITHOUT breaking them.")

Once he made it that far, Kasha obeyed Annie and headed straight for Zack and Bjorn. Assuming that Zack found his target, Kasha would shift to his cheetah form and get between the two of them as quickly as he could, growling at Zack in a protective manner. Honestly, he didn't feel any need to protect the creature; but Annie didn't want him getting hurt any more. If Zack was already aiming to shoot by that time, and there wasn't enough time to get between them, Kasha would instead move to pounce on Zack in a way that threw off his aim.

Assuming that Zack HADN'T found his target yet, however, Kasha would keep aware that the creature was trying to AVOID detection and stay away from it, instead finding Zack and staying near to him. He would then do as described above if Bjorn was found.

Bjorn couldn't really do anything but wait, he was lucky to be similar to reptiles. The bleeding stopped without a whole lot of trouble, the creature couldn't do something without giving himself away though. He'd remember this though, he'd get this man back for what he'd done. He just needed to grow up some more and then they'd see what was what. The alien was prepared to wait all day if the need existed, this was the worst nap ever.

Getting that 'idiot' kind out of here was probably a good idea at this point. Now that the shooting had stopped, it MIGHT be safe now...

Kasha continued to follow Zack and wait for him to find the reptile, considering what he could do. As he was thinking, he noticed something. The reptile; it seemed to have a sense of vengeance. It was intelligent enough to desire to return to someone that had hurt it and return the favor. That was important to know. Do NOT get on this thing's bad side. It will not soon forget who hurt it. Perhaps it would also remember someone that helped it.

Annie and Kasha decided that perhaps the best thing to do was have both of them move at the same time. Annie started by pushing open the cabinet doors, dropping her shadow cloak as she quickly made her way out the bathroom door and ran to exit the store. Kasha moved at the same time, dashing to Bjorn's exact location. Regardless of whether it moved or not, Kasha would aim and attempt to run up to it and pounce at it's location, landing with his front paws on either side of the reptile. At that instant, he would throw up his shield, and just sit there; waiting for Annie to get to a safe distance. If this worked, Zack would be kept busy by trying to get to Bjorn (although he wouldn't likely go for Annie anyway), Bjorn would be safe, yet unable to get to Annie even if he wanted to, and Annie would be on her way to getting to a safe distance.
