| ((This thread centers around Gilda getting her next Nth metal item. She'll only be able to use it's best feature once, unless there are extraneous circumstances, and that thing will be extremely obvious in the following post.))
As far as Gilda knew Quinn, a former member of the Hive, was dead. The others might find it that simple, but she definitely didn't. Someone had killed her. Gilda didn't know who exactly, but she knew someone did. She had made it her personal vendetta to make sure that no one else messed with Hive.
It had taken her a small while but Gilda had figured out a good way to spread the word without many finding out about it, or even being stopped any time soon. Not only that but she found a way to tie it to something else so the police and media would have other stuff to talk about. If she had it her way, they wouldn't even be talking about her theft. ____________________________________________________
A few trains ran near the docks. Okay more than a few. Something had to move all the materials from the ships that landed from city to city. In this case it was trucks and trains, as usual. Â Gilda had her eye on a particular train though. In light of her recent attack on Jump City's Museum, a certain exhibit was being added to. It might not seem like the brightest choice, but the museum was more concerned with it's exhibit being incomplete than with a single theft that had done nothing but damage the building. The rest of the exhibit was coming in by train. Tonight.
She was meeting it at late part of the docks, after it stopped. Her flight took her just above it as it screeched to it's resting place. Unfortunately, no one within a mile would be resting after the noise she was about to make. Before causing trouble. Gilda wanted her artifact! She dove down to the train and slammed her mace onto one of the car's roof. She then tore it off like it was the wrapping of a cream filled treat.
"Jackpot!"
Gilda yelled out as she saw her prize. She didn't even have to touch it to know this was the Nth metal she was looking for. She hopped down into the train car and picked up her new gauntlet. Â It didn't look like it would function as a perfect gauntlet though, maybe more like...a shield? She then heard the first bit of commotion outside, which reminded her of the other reason she was here. She put the gauntlet on her right hand and took a breath.
Chaos, suddenly. Gilda burst out the side of the car and launched a man tens of feet through the air with one of her wings. "This is about the girl with the bladed Hulahoop. Spread the word." she said to two others before ruining the train she had just come out of. She knocked it over and then smashed the head engines in with a few blows from her mace before lifting into the air as it exploded.
"Thats a good star-." Gilda's short monologue was ruined as a bullet whizzed by her. She turned to see a man with an Elephant gun who had just exited a warehouse. "Where did you even get tha-" she was interrupted again as she rose her gauntlet to block the next blow, throwing her off balance and down to the tracks below.
She quickly noticed how it had suddenly gotten brighter. "Huh?...Shi-!" she said, turning and putting her arms up to do her best to block the unstoppable force about to ram into her. A train that was, judging by it's speed, just passing through. She had made a fatal mistake in not watching where she landed.
A few seconds later, Gilda opened her eyes to find herself still alive. She had felt an impact, a big one, but not nearly as big as it should have been. She didn't even move! The train had moved though, or rather, it had kept moving. She had the main car of a train practically bent around her. Her gauntlet glowed for a moment, then made a barely noticeable sparking sound. Gilda would have paid it more heed if she hadn't been distracted by a metallic moan. Gilda rose, and was stunned to see the carnage she had planned, already there. Train cars now littered the docks. She had derailed a train.
"...sweet." was all she could manage to say. She could at least be sure no one would be talking about the missing artifact tomorrow. Heck, with the new aliens about, it was entirely possible that no one would even be talking about her. No one but the people who mattered anyways. She landed. She was mentally drained from what she had just, accidentally, done. "No one is gonna want a piece of me after that." she said with a laugh. She would have to get away from the scene of the crime before she could fly back to the Hive. She decided she better walk to avoid catching any more attention. "Gilda, the freight train...could work."

| Gilda the freight train eh? said a voice from behind her Where did the inspiration for that come from? Is it that train I saw you derail? he had a smug look on his face and he was casually leaning against a wall, he looked at his fingernails as casually as possible and would wait for her to make a move. | |

| Crap. Someone had seen her. Gilda groaned. She knew it could be worse. It would have sucked if someone official had seen her. As it stood, she would just have to hit this guy really hard so that he made sure to tell his friends. She turned to the new comer, leaving her mace at her side. Her gauntlet still fixed on her forearm though.
"You. Tell all your friends not to mess with Hive." she said, spreading her wings and walking towards the male. She then looked at him with a grimace. "And get that look of your face!" she said, launching a powerful fist at his smug face. She would save the gauntlet for later, when she knew how worked.

| Metamorphi watched her walk towards him, he stopped leaning and stood up normally, when she threw the punch he ducked to the side and aimed to grab her arm, if he succeeded he would flip her over his head and painfully into the wall. He would then leap at her, aiming to trap her in a confined space where she couldn't completely spread her wings and aim a kick at her face. | |

| Gilda guessed that victim wasn't familiar with facing flying enemies. The normal motive to lifting any enemy is to let them fall back to the ground and get hurt, but that would be a mistake for Metamorphi to assume. When he threw her above him, she simply flew and flew fast. She quickly rose to a height of about 15 feet with relative ease, though she wasn't used to carrying anyone.
"Now. What was I saying...oh right, smugness. Gone." She let go and waited for him to lose his grip

| (OOC: My apologies)
Metamorphi was lifted into the air, he tried not to look down but he still managed to do so and he was startled for a second, then he was let go, he quickly grabbed onto her wrist and then converted his body into solid lead, his squeezed her arm and tried to use his enhanced weight to bring her crashing into the ground with him, although he probably would take it better than her with his form.

| Gilda's confidence didn't last long. She suddenly felt the boy gain weight, a lot of it. He seemed to have turned into complete lead! She dropped several feet before pushing her wings more, slowing the fall. He was heavy, but he wasn't that heavy. Sure her wrist definitely gonna be bruised tomorrow, and probably a week from then, but she wasn't going to fall out of the sky for something so trivial! It took more than that to ground the Harpy.
Gilda turned and used her free hand to grab her mace, surrounding it with and electric aura and swinging at Metamorphi just as they touched the ground, with all her might. "LET GO!" she yelled. Didn't want lead poisoning after all.

| Metamorphi frowned in frustration when he didn't ground her, she obviously had some kind of enhanced strength, that was frustrating, hopefully she didn't have any kind of durability, that would be annoying. He raised his arms to block the mace blow but it still sent him flying into a wall, the wall cracked around him and it held it's ground for a few seconds, but when Metamorphi stepped out in collapsed in on itself, he was sure it's family would be proud. He looked at the girl and down to her mace What is that mace? It's not normal | |

| Gilda's wrist already was turning purple. She ignored it though. With her new item it would be hidden anyways. If he could turn into lead, she trusted that's what he'd stay. Â Lead was pretty sturdy, but he might turn into steel too. She would have to wait and see. Either way, she was gonna tear him to the ground.
"It's normal. The one I always use. The one that's gonna put you in the ground one way or another!" she said with a glare before jumping forward with her mace and swinging, the electromagnetic shielding active once again.

| Metamorphi stared at Gilda, waiting for her move. What clever tactic would she deploy? Would she fly? Would she try to take him by surprise? When she just lept over Metamorphi was slightly unimpressed. But then again it was too early in the battle for any tactics being needed. Perhaps Metamorphi was just setting the bar too high. Maybe he was just over thinking this? He was so busy pondering this he almost didn't avoid the attack, he took advantage of his position to swing his fist at her face, holding back enough to not kill a human if it hit. | |

| Gilda took the hit, her head snapping to the side. She paused for only a moment and then returned the favor by swinging her mace up at his chin, the electric aura still on, just hard enough to snap his head to the side if it hit. Her cheek had split open now, causing her to bleed. Crimson leaking down the side of her face. She growled at Meta angrily and front kicked at his chest to push him back and hopefully onto the ground before jumping up and sending down a crushing blow with her mace.
(OOC: just assume it is till I say it's not)

| Metamorphi took the hit on the chin, his head snapped to the side. He was pushed back by the kick but it didn't bring him to the ground, he was still made of solid lead after all and did not get hurt that much and it didn't even push him back much since he was so heavy. He turned into paper and dodged the mace blow to the ground, then converted himself into steel and rushed forward with a punch that would knock out a normal human. | |

| Gilda was surprised by his rapid changing. It sure was interesting, unfortunately it would take more than some gimmick to keep her on her toes. As he came in for another punch. She grimaced. He could hit pretty hard, thankfully, she could hit harder! As he went to punch her she pushed the punch to the side and knee'd at his torso before swinging the mace at his back. | |
