Appearance:
Nighthawk is tall, lean and pale. He stands at Six foot two, is borderline gaunt, and has skin so pale it seems to glow when he stands in the light. He wears an ankle length black trench coat, the collar of which is popped up to hide the sides of his face. He almost always wears the coat closed, but when it is open his black suit pants and black dress shirt are visible. He always wears combat boots and dark sunglasses, and his long black hair is always in a ponytail interwoven with raven's feathers. When walking in plain sight, which is rare, he tends to keep his right arm underneath his coat cradled to his chest, giving the impression he only has one arm.

Powers
Before he was captured by the U.S. Military to be used as an experiment, Nighthawk was a small time thief with the ability to run at speeds comparable to The Flash. When the U.S. Military took an interest in him, they surgically augmented his ability, trading stamina for speed. Nighthawk can now move faster than the human eye can track, appearing to teleport to the naked eye, but only a few feet at a time. His max distance at this speed is roughly fifty feet, and he can use this ability over and over, however every fifty feet he must move normally and allow his ability to rest for a few minuets. This stacks, meaning he can move distance less than fifty feet at his boosted speed, pause to fight, then move again, resting every time he reaches a fifty foot mark. He usually only uses his ability in combat, preferring to toy with his "prey" by casually walking forward, leaping to attack from the front, only to zip around and attack from behind. In addition to his speed, Nighthawk's right arm is encased in a large mechanical gauntlet made of an alloy kept top secret by the highest levels of the U.S. Military. The alloy is incredibly tough, able to withstand most conventional attacks and in some cases, as seen with Zack, can exhibit magnetic properties, though Nighthawk is unable to use this ability. The fingers of Nighthawk's gauntlet end in razor sharp claws, which are his favored weapon in combat. Nighthawk has named this weapon "The Hawk's Talon." After Zack was created, Nighthawk hated the fact that he was no longer the latest and best model, nursing an intense jealousy and hatred for Zack. After Zack escaped, Nighthawk took it upon himself to hunt his "baby brother," modifying his claw to produce a powerful electric charge. However, he is unable to turn this ability off, rendering his right hand useless in non combat situations. In addition to his claw, Nighthawk uses a unique pistol, which is forged of the same alloy as his claw and fires explosive rounds. As a backup or to throw his opponent off guard, he also carries anywhere from five to ten throwing knives on his person at any given time. While he is incredibly accurate with both the knives and the pistol, he rarely uses either, preferring his claw to both.
Weaknesses:
Nighthawk prefers close combat, and is somewhat undeveloped in long range combat, especially when the distance is more than fifty feet, as he cannot move far enough using his ability to get into close combat. While he is capable of easily dodging attacks using his ability, his resistance to damage is that of a normal human, making him vulnerable to attack every fifty feet, though he possesses an iron will thanks to the A.I. in his head and can continue fighting for a few minuets after any normal person would have collapsed or died. Thanks to his brooding nature, Nighthawk can easily be goaded into making a mistake out of anger. He is also somewhat predictable.
Background:
Nighthawk was taken by the U.S. Military and forced into a top secret supersoldier program. He underwent an intense and painful surgery that augmented his powers, gave him a powerful claw, and removed his sanity. The Military implanted an A.I. into his brain, which infiltrated his mind but remained inactive until he had completed his training. This A.I. is designed to take over Nighthawk's consciousness and works easier if the subject has a weakened grip on reality, hence the brain surgery on each test subject. Every subject takes the surgery a different way, and Nighthawk's version of insanity includes an intense hatred of being seen, a constant brooding anger and jealousy, always speaking in riddles and rhymes, and a nervous tick in his right hand.
Quirks:
Nighthawk hates being seen and will stick to the shadows whenever possible, rarely walking out in plain sight. Nighthawk fights like a cat toying with a mouse, and will prolong a fight just for the fun of it. This is potentially dangerous, as the "prey" can easily stall until help arrives. Nighthawk has developed a nervous tick in his right hand and constantly opens and closes the fist of his claw, producing a

hiss as they open again, meaning he can't sneak up on anyone with above average hearing, though his dark clothing still makes him hard to spot in the shadows.
Personality:
Nighthawk is as cold and uncaring as the metal encasing his hand. He rarely works with anyone else and will kill anyone regardless of alliance without a second thought. This can work to his disadvantage, as he will likely make enemies of everyone he meets.
