Now, before we start, I'm sure most of you know where these AI are applied. They're the 'companions' to the characters of Tex and Ham (Agent Texas and Agent New Hampshire) on this site. If you want an example of the two soldiers, just click the link for Agent Texas in my signature.
Let's paint a mental image to anyone who isn't familiar with the appearance of an AI program while in the form of a hologram, alright?
Alright, that should do it!
Lets go over these holograms since I recently introduced their uses to the site in my thread with DD, Kyte, Pika and Kip. The AI holograms can change size and shape whenever they please, generating more and more pixels to increase their size and shape and so on. These holograms can appear in any form they please, as well as create different hologram images such as maps or, in Theta's case, fireworks!
Theta's Fireworks:
- Spoiler:
The AI are extremely small and take the form of a small computer chip with a spike on the end of it. The spike is inserted into the back of the neck and the chip then lays flat to the host's neck. These AI now respond to brain waves, making them able to read your thoughts or anticipate your moves before you make them. Additionally they are implanted with the most cutting edge software to calculate odds, trajectory, velocity, mass and so on and so forth. This gives the AI the ability to give the host the most powerful information available as well as combat tactics.
What else are the AI capable of? Many AI offer a modification which would require a Mark I suit of armor to activate. These modifications can range from defensive to offensive, and from fatal to disorienting. It's often based on the AI's personality. A good example of this is Tex's AI, Theta. Theta is a childish AI and thus needs to be cared for. Therefore his armor modification is a shield that can be spawned and dispelled at will to deflect ranged weapons. It can also mold and change shape to deal with incoming threats.
Now, while the AI can do this they also multitask like any other computer can do. They maintain the different systems of the MKI armor such as the oxygen flow, motion trackers, electricity flow, and so on and so forth. Each AI is easily capable of governing an entire suit of armor on its own, and as others are introduced it becomes easier, allowing for more fluid combat instruction.
As time goes on, I will add more to this thread. I hope this helps anyone who needed it
