Akunin vs Metamorphi

OOC: Forgive me, but the PS3 has a limited character count on websites, forcing me to multi-post.

BIC: The water would stop shooting at Metamorphi, but the water itself would not. After all, it was a fire hydrant; what firefighters attached their hoses up to to put out raging infernos. Its supply of water flow wasn't running out any time soon.

However, the spray being directed at Metamorphi would stop, as Kyte took his foot off of it, causing it to skyrocket in a geyser, the water coming down like heavy rain.

Already becoming practically soaked, Kyte took up a defensive stance. Metamorphi's kick for dust wouldn't quite live up to expectations, merely throwing water at Kyte, but the move served just enough purpose as originally intended, for as the spray swept up at Kyte, it at least stalled him a bit, as he stepped back to avoid it, sheathing his blade.

It was all for naught, though, because Kyte had plenty of time to analyse Metamorphi's punch.

Instead of stepping further back to avoid the punch, Kyte stepped inward, placing a hand on Metamorphi's incoming forearm, and pushed it out of the way, redirecting the force. Then, before Metamorphi could get a kick for Kyte's stomach, Kyte placed his other hand on Metamorphi's same bicep. As Metamorphi would attempt his kick, Kyte would intercept it with a kick to that same knee to stop it before it built up too much force.

In a form similar to that of Judo, Kyte attempted to throw Metamorphi over his shoulder, which, provided he was met with success, would result in Metamorphi being slammed on his back onto the street, and into a puddle of water. Kyte would then proceed to hop back a few feet, reaching into his trenchcoat for a shuriken, and then throw it to sever a nearby power line.

Metamorphi grunted his displeasure as he was once again denied a succsesful attack, he was flipped to the ground, but he quickly rolled to his feet again, he was too slow to dodge the shuriken, but it turned out he didn't have to Hah! You missed! then he noticed it's true target %#!@! he dove in front of the shuriken, letting it bounce off of his body and land uselessly on the ground, then he picked it up and threw it, but he had no experience with shurikens before and it instead hit Kyte on the head with the flat side.
