Getting to know you... (Joy.)

Kardus strutted through the the Jump city Galleria, dancing to a song that had been on his mind all day: ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4u_TcXJIbcA ). Except at this point it wasn't just in his mind anymore; he was projecting it telepathically through glowing, cyan, tattoo-like lines on his body that formed the thoughts into actual music. He had absolutely not a care in the world as he shuffled and danced through the mall, even hugging a random person as he went by, just because he could.

As he danced he looked around smiling; he was supposed to meet someone here today; someone he loved and wanted to get to know better, as well as let her get to know him better. He kept an eye out for the pink haired girl as he continued to make his way down the mall.

Bow had gone through at least ten outfits trying to figure out what to wear today. The only other time she had gone through this many clothes was to find the perfect outfit for Mark on their first date, though she had went through at least 20 then. She finally picked out a cute pair of jean shorts, a light blue breezy shirt, and she even wore the emerald green robe he had entrusted to her so dearly.

As she entered the mall she could already feel his joy. She giggled and tried to stay calm, but wound up quickly dancing along to the music in his head. She smiled brightly and waved or said hello to everyone that she came in contact with. Then she saw him.

No longer able to contain herself she flew to him at speeds the human's had said not to do indoors and glomped him from behind, getting a few stares from people. As she hugged him, she also put her hands over his eyes. "Guess who!?" *giggle*

Kardus smiled wide and laughed a bit; he already knew who it was but played along, holding on to her arms. "Umm... Well let's see now. Who do I know with a sweet voice like that, has one of my robes, and is overjoyed to see me..." He peeled her hands off of his eyes and held them close, turning his head over to look into her eyes. "Hello there Bow." he said, still smiling.

Bow grinned from ear to ear, indeed overjoyed to see him. The connection she felt was like none she had ever known before, yet it still felt so familiar. She giggled as he talked and looked back into his eyes, smiling brightly. "How have you been? How's Caroline?? What are we eating? Where are we going??... Sorry... I talk too much when I get excited like this..." *giggle* She got off his back slowly.

Kardus chuckles a bit, "Me? Oh I'm doing great. Caroline..." He looks off a bit, "Well, she's kinda...sick. Well, just getting over it actually. She had to cut off an incompatible timestream and it kinda messed her up; but she'll be alright." He looks back to Bow, "And guess what?"; he leans in a bit, "She got the portals stabilized, so you can come visit us at home now."

Bow looked a little worried as he spoke about Caroline, hoping she'd get well soon. She then instantly perked up with his great news and looked up at him, getting only inches away from his face, though it didn't feel the least bit awkward to her. "Really!? That's... Bitter sweet... *giggle* Can we go there today maybe?? Sorry if I'm inviting myself over... Again... Too excited!" She jumped up and down a bit in joy.

"Are you kidding?" he put his hand on her shoulder; "You can come over literally anytime you like! And don't worry, you're just fine." He hugged her with one arm. She was a gem to him, and he loved her energy and excitement. He looked around the mall and then back to her, "So, you hungry? I'm not; but then again I never am."

Bow giggled and snuggled into his side smiling sweetly. She then looked up at him shocked and intrigued. "Really?? Never?? *giggle* I'm always hungry!" She thought for a moment. "Can you eat? What do you eat? You must need something for nutrients.... Right?" She started to walk subconsciously to the food court.

Kardus walked with her, "I can eat, I just don't usually need to, and then when I do I've got an entire garden at home full of things like fruit trees to chose from. It's a really nice place in there."

Bow smiled up at him. "It sounds absolutely fantastic! I can't wait to see it... But I think I want some Japanese chicken... Is that okay with you?" She tried to picture where he lived and kept thinking of a palace in the clouds with cotton candy. She giggled at her own silliness and smiled. They were almost at the food court now.

Kardus smiled, "Fine by me. I don't have any money, but you don't have to get me anything. Like I said, I'm not really hungry." He walked with her to the food court.

Bow blinked, walking into the line for her favorite restaurant. "Are you sure?? I'd be happy to get you something! Maybe a drink??" Her expression told him she wasn't about to take no for an answer.

"Weeeell...if you want to, then that's fine. Perhaps just a soda." As they got to the food court and Bow got her food, Kardus got a cola drink and sat down at one of the tables with her. He took a sip of his drink and looked at it, "That's good stuff; well, tasty anyway." He set it down and looked at Bow, "So, what do you want to talk about? You can go ahead and start if you like."

Bow took a few bites of her chicken while thinking. She honestly had no clue where to begin. The first time they had met she had willingly linked herself to him, trusting him with her whole life basically. How did she begin to tell him about it? What if he heard something he didn't like. She twisted the ring around her finger and looked down, guessing that was probably one of the better places to begin. "Well... I want to get to know you... And I'm assuming you want to get to know me... I guess one of the first things you should know is that I'm a Blue Lantern... Ummm... I focus on the power of hope and harness that energy to help anyone who's in need... And I'm a Titan... Ummm... You're turn? I'm not too good at this kind of talking..." *giggle*

Kardus wasn't exactly familiar with what a Blue lantern or a Titan was, but decided to hold off the questions until he had given some background on himself. "That's alright; let's see, where to start with me..." He thought for a moment; "Well, basically I'm a traveler; except there aren't a whole lot of limits to where I can go. See, I can travel to wherever I want in space; I can go from here to the other side of the universe and back just by walking four steps." He takes another sip of his drink; "But it doesn't stop there; see I'm not limited by space either. There are lots of other dimensions out there, far too many to count, and I can go to any of them I chose. On top of all that, I can travel though time as well; so there really is an enormous variety of places to go and things to see." He takes another sip of cola; "This place, in this reality, at this time, happens to be my current stop."

He paused to give bow a chance to ask some questions, which he was almost certain she would have some.
