| It wasn't much, but it was a bit less restricted than the docks. Victoria Wesley, part-time jeweler, part-time SVR intern (not that it seemed to amount to much as of yet in terms of deeds) took a leisurely stroll in a place lacking in any sort of good scenery. What it did have, however, was a proliferation of metal that no one would miss. Metal that she could tinker with, practice on, and destroy with relative impunity.
She had her reasons to practice, numerable ones by this point. First and foremost was her own self-defense. She was good to no one dead, and to fall to a common thug seemed an insult to those who trusted in her. Secondly, of course, was continuing her usefulness to Mr. Grennan...or Steampunk, as he called himself with increasing grandiosity. She understood the term by now, but it still seemed over-dramatic to her. The last one had her still for a moment...she could still remember that resonance, the unique sensation and wavelength of Zack's metallic endoskeleton. She held it close, along with the documents that Steampunk's minions had moved (but failed to find among her things).
With that, she walked over to a pile and pulled out a loose pipe. She would start with something small as a warm-up, she supposed, at a bit of a lack as far as an exercise routine for her power. She would need to push herself, if she was going to hope to bend that stubborn metal with any sort of speed.
"It matters not," she muttered quietly to herself, polishing the pipe with gentle strokes until she could see herself in it. "Whatever happens to me...I have purpose now, something I must accomplish. Anything that befalls me will be redeemed."

| Victoria wasn't sure what Tito would think of this, his junkyard turning into a surreal art garden. Sure, it was at a glacial pace, but glaciers could flatten continents, yes? Victoria had found pipes, loose car parts, old appliances, anything small she could work with. Bending, twisting, warping...and even occasionally slicing with her makeshift pipe rapier. Every piece she worked with she first cleaned of rust...the junk shone just as well as her jewelry.
She paused, arms dropping to their sides as the thought crossed her mind. Her shop...Three Valleys. She hadn't been there in a little bit, and she couldn't help but wonder if the store was still hers. Steampunk had managed to handle her rent and the breaking of her home lease...but what about the store, the things inside? He wouldn't have gotten rid of it all, would he? Even if he hadn't, could she really expect to focus? Just sit there and make jewelry knowing what she did, fearing the next unsavory ne'er-do-well coming through the door?
It was enough to bring a terrible weight on her shoulders, one that threatened to bring her to a grinding halt...
