Moving Day

"Hey, Hothead, you can cut the fire out now." Jade had found the power switch and flipped it on. Lights began to turn on, the refreshing Air Conditioner began to blow, surveillance cameras started to power up and almost every other appliance turned on as well. It was definitely more grand than she had originally thought. "This isn't bad at all."

She began to walk down the steps and then found herself walking toward a huge television set with couches set up all around it. The monitor was currently showing the feed of the park just outside, and in very audible surround sound stereo she could hear everything - from children flying kites to dogs barking as they jumped for Frisbees.

"So this is home now, huh?" She turned around as she said, waiting to see if any one of the guys would reply to her rhetorical question.

After seeing the lights were switched on Nightmare begins throwing the fireball between his hands instead of putting it out. While exploring he hears Cheshire talking. "You can call it home if you want but as soon as JaK gets sick of this "team" thing, me and him will be gone before you know it"

"Is that so?" Cheshire raised an eye and looked toward David.

After putting his fireball out and ignoring Cheshire's comment, Nightmare goes and sits on the couch and turns the TV on, slightly bored of this place already.

JaK would walk into the room with files concerning specs of the entire tower that he got from Cyborg. Now that he'd gone through a tour of the place himself, he tossed the files at Cheshire before plopping down on the couch next to his bro, as if to say 'your turn'.

"Cy told me that we needed to go over those, but ya see I'm not big on computer geek stuff and neither is Nightmare. So I figured either you or sir William could go over it, and set the tower's security codes and stuff while you're at it."

As JaK said this, he would exhibit his "leadership" qualities by placing both hands behind his head and crossing his legs, before placing them squarely over the coffee table located right in front of him.

Jade would look at the folder, opening it up to see various manuals and instruction sheets. She would look toward JaK and David on the couch, rolling her eyes before turning around to go walk toward the control panel over on the side of the room. "I get it, leave the Asian girl to do all the tech stuff..." She began to press different keys and enter personal information, codes given to her by the manual, and preferences that would be agreeable by all those living in the house.

Sage would smirk as took the TV remote from Nightmare and pointed it at the screen.

"Now you're getting it. Oh, and while you're up, would you mind getting me a soda?"

The computer system was asking for a password. Sageisstupid Cheshire thought as she entered it and set the alarms security sensors. Once the acceptance bleep was heard, Jade went over to the refrigerator and pulled out a can of Soda. She opened it up, making sure to dip one of her claw tips in it. Nothing like a little extra flavor to a good drink she though to herself before handing the beverage to JaK. "Drink up."

"You know Cheshire, I think I got you all wrong; with a little bit of my guidance, maybe we could co-exist in here. Heck we could even get you a make-over so you wouldn't need to cover your face with that mask all the time."

JaK would say as he took a sip of his drink, but no sooner did he get the liquid in his mouth, did he taste the potentness of her posions and immediately spit it out all over Nightmare's face. After which time he would look back at his brother, who was more than unamused. Diet soda dripping down his face, while blue flames that were starting to pop up out of anger quickly evaporated it.

"Don't blame me, blame cat woman over there!"

Jade giggled at the funny sight of JaK's spit take on David. She began to walk out of the common room and toward the bedrooms wing of the tower. She didn't feel like replying to Sage's comments; so she didn't.

Will walks past Chesire and enters the living room to see what the other two teammates are doing. Looking up at the tv to see what they are watching, Will sits on a couch to JaK's left.

About the other Teen Titan team, when are you planning to contact them?

Sage places his hand on the sofa and mimics it's velvet cushioning before wiping his face with his hand. Then reverting it back to normal.

"I thought you were a mind reader Will, shouldn't you have known I contacted them as soon as we got our Communicators? Their leader is a girl named rain, she can control elements and by the way, what is your code name. You never told us, I don't think you want me calling you Will in front of the bad guys.""

You have a point. Guess since we are heroes now, that'll be a good thing to create alias. Hmm, mine is Psychosis. Yours?

"Sage, also I've decided you're gonna be second in command. Since I don't trust cat girl and bro's a bit less than responsible at times, you're the best choice."

JaK would whisper the part about Nightmare to Psychosis.

Nightmare would get up off the couch and walks over to the sink in the kitchen and washes the soda off his face. He then dries it off and sits back down and shoots his brother a look, warning him not to do that again
