Terrors on a Bridge! (Pika and Hellbreaker)

The big dude doesn't seem to notice or care that people are falling off the bridge. It's actually true that he doesn't, and he considers such things an occupational hazard for both heroes and villains. These security guards are just men though, and don't need to be dealing with threats of this magnitude.

After radioing for an ambulance and the police, the big guy moves over to the guards again and checks to see if they are breathing. They look to be in pretty bad shape, but are alive. The armored car is clearly completely ruined. Its front is smashed in and the back is completely torn apart.

Ten reaches back up into the cab of the car and.... turns on the hazard lights.

Meta see`s Toji fall into the water, he sighs and jumps in, from the height he fell the impact against the water felt like getting punched in the stomach all over his body. Meta ignored the pain and swam over to Toji, he grabbed him the swam towards land, dropping Toji on the shore, he looked into the river, he could tell that the terror twins were still in there, it didn`t look like they could swim. Meta sighed and swam after them, helping Tommy and Tuppence Terror onto the shore and out of the water.

As Meta heroically (and it is rather heroic, really.) saves Toji and both the Terror twins, the authorities begin showing up on the bridge. A few police cars are on the scene quickly, followed by an ambulance and a couple fire trucks, but it's hard to see everything happening from the distance they washed down to.

Tuppence Terror is the first one to come around, and she sits up, looking first at her brother, then to Meta.. then to Toji. She turns back to Meta...

"You saved me an' my brother Tommy. Thank you." She grabs Meta by the arm and pulls him in and gives him a kiss on the cheek. She grins a little, blushes... and then... shoulder throws him into the river. "Sorry handsome, gotta go now.!" with that, she grabs the much worse for wear form of her brother, who really is messed up with his face mashed into a barely recognizable mass or what resembles mashed potatoes, and super leaps away before Meta can get back to shore.

Meta smiled as he was kissed It was nothi- he was cut of by his surprised scream as he was thrown into the river. He swam back to shore and the Terror Twins were gone, he stared at Toji What just happened?

On the bridge above there is an increasing police presence, and a Steel City PD armored van shows up, releasing a Special Weapons and Tactics, aka SWAT Team, which quickly cordons off the area.

The large black guy moves into the back of the armored car and a few moments later carries a rather large safe, easily taller than a man and at least 5 feet across, out of the back of it, and carries it to the SWAT Van.

It looks like the local authorities have everything in hand at this point. But is what is in the safe what the Terror's were after? Chances are likely good.

Meta growled at Toji I`d beat you up, but it would take a Kryptonian to deal the pain you deserve he growled and stood up If you need me, I`ll be somewhere where I have something better to do than listen to you!

By the time Toji is able to get back to the bridge most everything has been cleared up. The SWAT van has taken off and there's a flatbed getting the armored car loaded up onto it.

A few cops are directing the now ridiculously heavy traffic over the bridge, and there is no sign of the big black dude who presumably beat Tommy Terror half to death.

Some time later on the news...

"And there was an attempt to rob a Power Industries Armor Car today, however the meta criminals who perpetrated the act were stopped by Power Security Personnel as well as two as of yet unidentified meta heroes. The purpose of the attack is as of yet unknown, however there was some minor structural damage to the Bay Bridge."
