The Fox vs. The Flower (SuperSquirrel)

Nina cracked her knuckles as she stepped into the arena, smirking as her tails swirled around her in the gentle breeze, she scratched behind her ear, her ear then twitching a little before she looked around "huh...I guess I'm early..." she muttered quietly as she walked around the arena boredly, practicing her fox fire and firing them off from the tips of her tails and into the air, trying to pass the time until Rose showed up.

Rose had been sitting in the rafters until this point, completely dressed as Ravager. "Right on time..." she muttered, checking around to what she could use. The walls were mostly smooth; no footholds for climbing. Additionally there were the dark walkways in the rafters she was standing on. That was it. Dropping down silently straight toward her, her hand poised on her katana. "You're mine!" She shouted, a few feet away.

Nina suddenly looked up "woah!" she said, quickly rolling out of the way and dodging Rose's attack "steady there, someone might get hurt" she said with a chuckle.

Rose scowled as Nina moved, quickly moving her hand from her Katana to her Staff and she landed gracefully on the ground. "That's exactly what I'm hoping for." She muttered, extending the staff she'd made. "Slade isn't the only one who trained me!" She shouted, jumping up and swinging the staff in a perfect arc, just like Nightwing had taught her.

(Wow, I'm being really sloppy and reckless today )

Nina smirked "show-off" she said simply before she stepped back from Rose, starting to charge up a purple almost transparent orb in her hand as it started to grow larger and larger.

Rose smiled, shortening the staff again. "Oh you need to CHARGE your only attack? This just isn't fair." Pulling out a handful of shuriken, Rose tossed them so that they would arc from the left toward her. And if they hit, they would easily create multiple wounds. However, on the right side Rose pulled out her grappling gun and fired it. If it hit an arm, a leg, even her head, she'd drag her right on over to be knocked out cold.

"You can't dodge both!"

Nina chuckles "Oh I think I can" she said simply, turning to her fox form and ducking under both attacks then leaping at Rose and aiming to bite her neck like a lion.

Rose barely sidestepped the bite, having only her reflexes to thank for it before turning around and throwing her Bolas at where Nina's feet would be after landing."This power never works when I want it to..." She muttered.

Nina used her natural fox agility to jump a split second before the Bolas hit its destination, forward flipping before she landed with a sigh of relief "ok Daddy's Girl, try this on for size!" she said with a chuckle as she turned human again, purple flames appearing on all five of her tails before being rapidly fired towards Rose.

Rose smiled, already prepared for the balls of fire, using her grappling claw to spring back up into the rafters. Sprinting down the walkway, she pulled out one of her katanas and sliced the power line to the lights, causing the entire arena to go dark. "And now you can't see...what a shame." She said, her voice echoing in the arena, seeming to come from everywhere at once.

Nina chuckles "on the contrary, foxes are nocturnal remember" she said with a smirk as she looked up to Rose with a smirk.
