A HIVE Homecoming (Open: HIVE)

Malharon flew to the blood as soon as it splattered and began examining it hard as though somehow looking at the blood would clue him in on how to regain his body. It wasn't an impossible thing, the soul was the hard part to come up with. But if he showed up again his student would undoubtedly be watching. With this power though it wouldn't matter.
He reached out to touch the blood but his non-corporeal body just drifted through it and he recoiled his hand as though he'd touched something horrible, in all reality it just unnerved him going through solid things. Malharon said in his strained voice "The drones are fairly good at cleaning up anything that gets past the defenses as well. I suppose their a defense of sorts as well. Make sure to stay with someone they recognize for a bit or the numbers may overwhelm you if nothing else." Malharon sagged when he finished talking he was exhausted from that limited interaction with the air. Class was hard but he managed.

Jemmy's head would suddenly re-appear on her neck. She didn't even have any scars. Aside from the blood on the wall and floor, there was no way to tell she had been harmed at all.

Kyte asked if anything more was required of him. Jemmy smiled. "No. That will be all for now."

Jemmy looked down at Malharon, who was poking at her blood stains. Jemmy raised an eyebrow, but said nothing. Instead, she turned to face the small crowd of students who had witnessed her beheading.

"So yeah. Just letting you guys know who's in charge around here. As long as you don't get in my way, we can all be good friends. Malharon is going to show me to my room now. The rest of you can do whatever you want."

"That was...impressive Nix said under her breath. She couldn't help but wonder if it was really necessary, at least she wasn't scared to get her hands dirty or her head lopped off. In any case it proved she would do what she thought needed to be done. Though, given her current impression of being insane and immature, that might not be the best thing. She glanced around at the other students to try and guess their impression of their new leader.
She was impressed, but also very, very apprehensive about the girl. Not to mention the weird guy with the sword. "Have a nice stay" she said half heartedly.

Upon Kyte's response to his inner-most thoughts, Hugh was taken aback. He looked at Hydra and soon figured out what had betrayed their opinions. They both must have been wearing mind-reader expressions! A terrible mistake to make when criticising others. They should safeguard against this possibility in future by donning joke-shop glasses. Or else forcing themselves to think positively.

The execution of Jemmy was horrendously gory. It shouldn't have been a problem for an academy of supervillains, but only those with a cast-iron constitution could prevent squeamishness entirely. And since this wasn't a grisly outtake from You've Been Framed, their Headmistress recovered pretty much instantly. Note to self, don't f*ck with her. Revolutionary thoughts were quickly wiped from Pix's face. Jemmy would be a strong leader.

As the group began parting ways, they left behind a messy reminder of their presence. Unlike Malharon, Hugh made effort to skirt around the blood. For a Lord of Chaos, the stuff could be concentrated acid. And yet someone had to clean it up, "Hey Keith! Grab a mop!"

Nina just smiled "good luck Headmistress!" she said happily, she also seemed to be the only one to know Kyte, she wasn't sure what this new head of HIVE would do, and how it would effect HIVE, she was just glad that she'd get to see her badass boyfriend on an almost daily basis now.

Nina looked to Hydra, Nix and Hugh and frowned a little, she suddenly realized that the only friend she had made at HIVE was Manic, and he was no-where to be seen, she had to admit to missing him as the two were like a dynamic duo, to the point of Nina taking care of Manic when he had lost all his energy, she was starting to wonder if she'd be able to make any other friends now that more people were seeming to come to notice in her HIVE life.

Jemmy said she didn't need anything else from him, but Kyte waited until everyone else left, a smirk on his face. When only Nina was left, Kyte stepped forward, pecking her on the cheek.

So hey. Care to give me the tour?

He smiled, looking around.

Looks like I left a bad impression...so I guess I'll get Jemmy to let me teach combat. If they hate me already, why not increase it and then make it productive?

Malharon turned toward Jemmy quickly and bowed gesturing toward a hallway that he began floating toward effortlessly. Malharon wasn't sure what the Chaos Lord wanted with him but he doubted that this would be good for him. Malharon sighed inwardly ever since his death things just kept going from bad to worse. He glanced back to see if Jemmy was following and would ask straining "Did you wish to speak to me mistress?"
