10 Minutes (Open Challenge)

Ben 10 stood in the intersection of a blocked off area of the city. They had agreed to do the fight in an old part of town, which was going to be bulldozed down anyway to build new housing and shopping areas. Ben stood ready for his opponent, all they had to do was last 10 minutes and Ben would be reverted back to human form by the Omnitrix. Question is, would they be able to last that long?

Hmm not quite alone to admit because suddenly a windy force came in the area as a white blur dangerously crashed to the ground with thin smoke filling the middle space altought a sort of winged creature stood in the mid air and surprisingly didnt bothered the fast crash. well that should be fun Katera said while dusting herself of slightly as her wings had properly came hardened before the heavy crashing and it wasnt someking of accident it was more her idea of entry on the location.

"Ok Katera, well consider this you initiation into the Titans. Outlast me annnd give me your word you'll be good from now on and consider the Titans your new family.... But, you better want it."

As Ben spoke he rotated the dial of the omnitrix to a picture of an alien and slammed down on it's faceplate, changing him into Big Chill!

Ben then exhales zero temperature frost cloud at Katera in an attempt to freeze her.

Sharply rising away from the cloudy source,she let a quick nod alright then no backing her eyes rised in intense flames and it began to unleash fiery blast from them to get him striked down.She didnt cared much of the chilly breeze who missed her as her eyesight returned to normal she began to spin in a windy tornado style that way the next icy blast wouldnt get to hit her instead it should likely get repelled away.

Ben exhaled icy wind at the fire and canceled it out in a vat of steam and once it cleared had disappeared. Meanwhile, the ice cloud she had avoided followed her, but upon reaching her was funneled away by katera. However, from above the ghost alien would re-materialize and attempt to grab Katera form behind afterwards.

With her windy attack eliminating the freezing cloud,her ear let out a quicker twitch by his sneaking move so she ducked with a backwards flip and air dive but unleashed a massive flame barrel to headbutt him off and cancel his own balance this happened when she had found herself behind Ben.However instead of letting him fall down Katera after this head tackle her swift leg made a deep roundhouse kick with her sharp hawkish talon to really bring him on the ground.

As Ben's attempt at a grab missed, he was hit from behind by Katera after re materializing, but luckily, Big Chill was rather immune to fire damage. Extreme temperatures in general didn't really bother this alien much. The attack was followed by him falling forward and then regaining his altitude, only to find a taloned foot heading towards his head, but Ben simply went intangible at this point, and her foot passed right through his temporary ghost body.

"Pretty cool moves ya got there, but I'm still better."

After turning solid again, he threw a punch at her.

With somes moves succeeding,the bird girl quickly retaliated from this fist attack on the air view well hows that she backed off and suddenly flung a direct hit on him with a lightning sphere visually close enough to allow a perfect strike.No flame working well the next option is thunder pretty much on what she could think of right now,the young hawk chick eyes started to surge of blinding electricity obviously with somes sparks flowing on her.However at the same time it went to happen on her,the clouds themselves were turning grey with a thunderclap rising in sight it was mainly made on Katera's control.

As she attacked Ben again, he again turned intangible and this time intended to freeze her on contact, but when her palm touched him the sphere electrocuted his protoplasm, causing him to be electrocuted. It was this aliens weakness!

"AARRRRRAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!"

As Ben fell out of the sky he landed on the ground and reverted back to human form, appearingly defeated.

Nearly calming down by his crashing,She kept afloat gracefully from above as a next low thunder stream crackled in the air within the grey clouds but her eyes filled with electro sparks faded off the same had been going on on the sky.No more grey just the sun shining altought Katera finally decided to take a land a bit distanced from Ben as she waited to see his awakening hmm....

Ben would suddenly yell out as she landed on the ground, he had been playing possum, although that attack did REALLY hurt. As he yelled out he hit the omnitrix again and changed forms into Diamondhead! Who struck the ground, then where she had landed crystalline like handcuffs would suddenly pop up out of the floor and try to shackle her feet so she couldn't fly anymore.

"I gotta give it to you, almost took me out there, you can be dangerous Katera. I might even have to actually try harder to beat you now."

Then again before she could actually react this rapidly,her calm eyes sighted the cuffing hold upon her hawkish talons yeah the leg were to give a push to fly but the wings were the usual source of her flight thats what happen when you meet a warrior Katera informed not on the bad mood though more in the reasoning tone while her keen eyes lifted to him like the way they were slightly strucking him could kinda mean that the sky wasnt to mess with especially when she was up there.Done i suppose? Katera asked in doubt like... ok maybe not this fast.

Diamondhead rose up to his full height of 7 feet and walked towards Katera, about to grow more crystal out of the ground until it completely covered her.

"Almost, once I cover you in this diamond it'll be fini....ished. Aww, man."

Ben reverted back to human form before he he finished speaking, which means the 5 min was up and Kateras hadn't been fully defeated. Although, she was somewhat immobilized, but still could attack him.

"Ok, well call it a draw, so I guess that means...You're in. I really can't expect you to beat me, I mean come on, it's me, but had I been a normal necrofriggian you would've won...Katera...Welcome to the Teen Titans."

Ben smiled, but he didn't know how he'd get the diamond cuffs off her now.

Well on the contrary it was really over as she let out a hmmm sound when he was non-human form though he got back to his original self while he was speaking of her approval on the team,she lightly sighed but not quite on the unimpressed side maybe only hiding this big relief.Its like she wasnt going to go back on the start when she first arrived in this city the kind of shelter she was using for months or practically a year was a cave and...luggages in there wasnt pleasing wild animals who kept ruining her stuffs especially bears.

im not as easy as you can think,i last longer than most in a battlefield,i dont meet defeat..i make it Katera eyes were not even holding any signs of lies she then eyed those legs cuffs and yeah it needed to go away.Hmmm it wont make stay here either not bothered by the shiny item blocking her legs together,the hawk girl wings rose up with a wind blow for a lifting push above the ground though the cuffs weight was not really letting her go so high.

She huffed ok this was disturbing her now however with a glance at Ben her voice responded well ill wait till you can use youre watch again.. Typhoon aka her codename admitted while wondering what should happen next since she couldnt go get her luggages or anything yet.

Ben thought for a second.

"Haha, maybe I should just leave you like that. Lesson #1 of the Titans, gotta be able to get out of tight spots...But, since you did just have one test. I guess I'll cut you some slack."

Ben then accessed the Omnitrix and changed into Fourarms, who broke off the diamond cuffs and allowed Katera to fly free.

"Now, if you don't mind..."

Ben then changed forms to Xlr8.

"I believe we had a race to finish."

Ben then changed forms to his speedster alien and dashed off at high speeds towards the tower, but slow enough so that katera could catch up.
