A new friend? Or just an icy encounter...(Kristoff & Honest)

Ayumu was sat on the counter of Comics for Fans, flicking through pages of a comic book and her legs crossed over one another, her long, black, silky and straight hair running down her back and partially down in front of her shoulders, her silver hair clips holding her hair out of her face, her icy blue eyes scanning the pages.

"Look Ayumu, are you going to buy something or not, because of not then you can get me a drink, it may be ok for you with your ice powers but its sweltering in her for the rest of us" said Nina boredly as she angled the electric fan in front of her.

Ayumu then jumped off the counter and pulled down her black long sleeved top with blue and purple hearts around the edges and checked her purple punk-styled skirt that had two decorative chains attached to it "its not nice and cool for me either you know" she said as she put the comic book on the counter and pulled up her grey socks that went up to her knees then retied her black ballet slipper's ribbons and tugged on her big, dark blue bow that was attached to the back of her waist "I'll buy that then" she said as she looked back up to Nina "ok, that'll be £20" replied Nina as Ayumu nodded and handed over the money.

Chris walked in to the comic shop to beat the heat, glad he was able to get away from DREAD, if only for a few hours. As he walked in the door chimed, alerting the workers of his arrival. He promptly sat down and tried to cool off.

Nina and Ayumu looked over to Chris then looked back to each other, passing him off as just another customer or something "now get me a drink slave" said Nina simply "preferably with ice" she added with a smirk "yeah I'll give you more than just ice in a minute" muttered Ayumu annoyed as she walked behind the counter and took some Sunny D out of the fridge and poured some into a glass, taking the ice cube tray out of the freezer part and tapping them on the kitchen surface, putting a couple in the glass then put the tray back and closing the fridge then went back out to Nina and put it on the counter "your drink, your Highness" she said as she rolled her eyes and Nina took a sip of it "this is satisfactory, well done" replied Nina with a chuckle.

Chris looked through his phone, looking at the door every so often, hoping no one recognizes him. After a while he decided to buy a Japanese soda and a box of Pocky.

"Thanks" said Nina as Chris handed over the money while Ayumu hopped onto the counter and sat there quietly and stared at Chris for a few moments then looked to her comic book and started reading it, before she picked up Nina's drink and sipped it "hey hey hey!" said Nina as she took her drink back "what...I'm thirsty too" said Ayumu, not taking her eyes off her comic "then get your own drink you lazy butt" said Nina as she looked at Ayumu annoyed.

Chris read the news on his phone as he drank from his phone. but he caught the site of some pretty girl, Ayumu was it? He looked at her quickly, wondering what he would say to her if he did decide to say anything.

Ayumu saw Chris' glance and gave him a little smile before she looked to Nina "fine fine I'll get my own drink" she said as she hopped off the counter and got her own glass of lemonade then sat back on the counter and sipped her lemonade and got back to reading her comic, Nina leaning back in her chair "so you seen Steampunk recently?" asked Nina "nah, he keeps to himself, I know he's planning world domination but the only team he has so far is me, and he treats me like a little kid too" said Ayumu, Nina and Ayumu thinking Chris was just a normal guy and so wouldn't be bothered about a world domination plan that might never even happen.

"Sounds like he thinks globally, acts mentally," Chris laughed at his own joke, hoping he wouldn't bring negative attention to himself, all he wanted was a friend or two. He looked at his phone nervously, something he always did when he spoke out of place, normally a DREAD guard would beat him.

The girls giggled "good one" said Nina "yeah, you're a funny guy, whats your name? Mine is Ayumu and thats Nina" said Ayumu happily "wow Ayumu, first time you've actually laughed since the recent...incident" said Nina with a smile to which Ayumu just suddenly looked to her friend coldly "I told you to never mention it again...I still have nightmares from it remember, the memories of my parents and brother are still gradually coming back to me, as well as the memories of what happened in the lab" said Ayumu before she got back to reading her comic, Nina sighing "I'm sorry..." she replied.

Chris was about to use his real name, but then remembered he can't do that, "I'm Jack Smith, nice to meet you." He seemed rather intimidated, he didn't really talk to people.

"Nice to meet you too Jack" said Ayumu with a smile, thinking that he seemed quite shy "its ok, you don't have to be scared of us" she said before Ayumu then looked to her hands and put them together before creating a small block of ice and then some of the ice started to melt away, creating a horse shape before she gave it to Jack "if you don't like horses I can easily change it" she said calmly with a friendly smile.

Chris turned to Katarzyna Dolinski, a look of terror on his face, "B-back off! I won't go back! Not after the last time!" The virus infected teenager fought back the memories of seeing how far they could push his abilities, the amount of pain and stress they forced upon him. Ready to fight for his life, tendrils of organic black-and-red matter enveloped his arms, his hands seemed to double in size and where his fingers were, there were four incredibly sharpened and hardened metal-like claws, "I don't want to fight, but I will, I am NOT going back to... to THAT!"

Nina and Ayumu were very confused at this sudden conflict "HEY! Whoever you are, no one is fighting in my shop! Now either leave him alone or take it outside!" said Nina annoyed as Ayumu stared at Katarzyna with her icy blue eyes "no one will be taking anyone" she said in a cold and fierce voice, stepping in front of Chris as her hands started to freeze up and get coated in a thin layer of ice "Ayumu this is not your-" said Nina before she was suddenly interrupted "no Nina! Not since Keith tried to take me back to the experiments! I won't let something like that happen to someone else!" said Ayumu in a harsh voice.
