What Lies Just Beneath The Surface?! (The Invasion Begins)

Ray heard a last of some sort from her apartment. She dropped the magazine she was reading about the wonderbolts. She threw on her hero outfits and put her goggle on. She opened the window and took off in flight. She landed in downtown jump-city where some people were. She looked at the giant light and back up. " What the heck?" Rainbowdash said with a confused look on her face.

She had her hands at her sides and they began to glow a rainbow color. Two rainbow-balls formed in her hands. She didn't know what would happened but she was ready for a fight. Maybe she'll get adopted onto a team! NightHawks or Titans would be nice.

Kristoff was riding his motorcycle through Midtown, thinking of everything that's been happening in his life, from Ryder appearing to Bodycount basically declaring war on Symbiote. He was pulled from his thoughts by a loud blast. It took him by surprise, causing him to swerve and almost lose control of his motorcycle. Once he regained control he pulled over and looked at the wormhole looking thing that appeared over the city. "What in the Hell?" he muttered and looked at it cautiously, ready to get the Hell out of there at the first sign of Armaggedon.

( OOC: *activate effort* better be good )

Ears twitching sharply from the warehouse,Katera dropped her pencil right on her sketchbook and scurried out of the place,lowly aware of the blinding light source,she flew up to reach downtown.Wings spreaded widely she kept moving and landed after a few minutes woah.. she looked at the big flashy hole and settled her hands on hot flames wheter if it was about to be good or bad,the hawk girl was ready to react.

Not forgetting Ray on the field,she let out a quick wave and keenly stood in alert by what could come out of there,altought Katera couldnt get sight of the radio tower,knowing that it must have took it away weird she tought and waited cautiously

Jane was walking downtown drinking a latte from her new favorite little coffee shop thinking about this city. She had just moved in a few weeks ago and was still getting adjusted to the atmosphere that surrounded her. So many unique people, so different from each other. She was repulsed and yet strangely intrigued. As this thought carried her away an enormous blast went off and in front of her a worm hole writhed into stability. "Interesting..." It seemed like it was going to be a good show. She was sure many heroes, and possibly villains, would come to see what all the fuss is about and maybe they would need her help, or maybe not. But for now she found a bench, sat down, and was prepared to watch the show...

Wolf watched on the deck of the oil rig. A worm-hole was never good news. He stomped and Malharon flew up to his masters side. Wolf said seriously. "Tend to the others, tell them that we're no longer the worst. We'll be needed." Malharon nodded gravely and flew back down into the ground. He sent word out through HIVE over the intercom telling them exactly what he'd been told. They weren't the worst and they were needed.

Wolf meanwhile and dove into the water and swam hard for shore, once on shore he would sprint up a building and begin running toward the worm-hole. He leapt across buildings his tail flicking in the air as he ran on all four. Wolf leapt from the roof of a building amongst the police. One shot him with a pistol and he hissed irritably. "We have bigger problems right now. What ever this is it's going to threaten all of our existences."

Wolf ran toward the light and leapt his tail leading like a spear. Whatever it was he was determined to kill the threat.

Nina was stood handing out leaflets for the store and noticing that people were running and taking less interest in her than usual, seeing the light from the corner of her eye and looked to the side of her, covering her eyes for a few moments and seeing the wormhole 'huh?...' she thought before she dropped the remaining leaflets and ran into a nearby alleyway, changing into her fox form and easily weaved through the crowd, running towards the wormhole to see what was happening 'looks bad...looks very bad...' she thought as she ran.

The tank shell's blast was deflected by him. Before anything could be done he was lifted through the air by some unseen force, flying straight to the tank, suddenly moving his spear in a slicing motion and stopping just behind it. A large glowing line was evident on the tank and the mech quickly flew into the air and back to the one it seemed to be escorting. The group began making its way through the area and towards a large hill where the old observatory sat. They broke into a loping near leisurely walk to their target. The guards firing lasers from their spears at anything that approached. While the large one in the middle fired large explosive balls of energy into the city. It was only a moment until smoke was billowing from large buildings.

The invasion had began

Nikki had been enjoying herself, just chilling on a rroftop and overseeing what was going on in the city below. She jumped and nearly fell from the roof when a bright light nearly blinded her. She pulled herself back up onto the roof and as the white light cleared she saw that a large crowd was gathering at its source.

Nikki sighed and transformed into her ferret form, leaping from building to building, sliding down fire escapes and building sides to get a better look at what was going on. And finally when she reached the crowd she jumped in and landed straight in the middle of the herd of people.

As soon as she did the whole swarm began to scream and run. Irritably Nikki stood and turned human again. "Oh COME ON! You all know that the giant ferret in this city is a good guy, why are you people all panicked!?" That's when Nikki was shoved from behind and stumbled. She then realized, they weren't running from her. Something else had frightened every one into running for their lives screaming. Nikki sighed and transformed again, shoving her way to the front to find out what bad guy this time had decided to cause so much trouble. But when she got to the front lines, she wished she hadn't been so eager.

It was a huge army of aliens and dinos and over all monsters. She shifted back in surprise, her eyes wide. Taking in the scene but not fully believing it.

Only two words seemed to fit the occasion,"Oh crap..."

Jay flew over head, studying the worm hole from above to avoid the huge crowds of people. She had never seen something like this, but it sure didn't look good. And leave it to that alone to have every person in the city come over like moths to a flame.

Just as she was about to choose a spot to land she saw the vortex shimmer and then exposed a huge creature emerge. As if that was the signal the whole group of people began to run screaming from the area as more and more creatures stepped forward.

"Oh yeah, now they all try to get out of here."

Jay watched as the leader finally emerged and as one tank attempted to fire, one of its bodyguards leaped forward and slashed it in half.

Well, it seemed that today just got a lot more interesting.

Claira had been pounding on so robbers and just as she was about to hit the last one they both paused as they looked up in the sky and saw a worm hole open up. they both stood in aw well she did and he did for about a few seconds before Claira sucker punched him. Claira then took the stolen items and returned them then got back out side.

As she got back out side a hudge crowd of monsters began to storm the street. One was about to kill a little boy who was too frightened to move and runaway with the others but the claira shot out her hudge hawk wings zooming over saving him just in time. Claira quickly got him over to a hudge group of people settin ghim down.

"Leave the city kid leave the fighting to the heros like me."

The kid nodded and ran off with the others as Claira would fly up high to see what was going on and saw an army of aliens monsters and could only say one thing.

"Man if I knew heros got to fight invashions like this... I WOULD HAVE BECOME ONE YEARS AGO THIS IS SO COOL!"

she said as she flew at the incoming invashion.

Maira sharpened her new arrows and pollished her new wepons as she heard screaming coming from the city and peaked out from the werehouses main exit door. She had been staying in the werehouse eversince she escaped L.A.W and hadn't relly left. Maira saw a bunch of monsters run threw the street and grabed her boow and put up her hood after puting her wepons back where they should be.

Maria then ran at incredible inhuman speed towards a hudge monster about to kill a woman and ran over grabing it and using the momentum of her speed to increase her hitting strength knocking it a few feet away. She looked at the woman unsure why she wanted to save her so much figuring it might be from where her D.N.A came from.

"Are you a new hero?"

The woman asked her.

"Does it really matter? Your safe but you must leave now if you wish to continue to live. and for the record I am only made up of heros but I'm not exactly one myself."

Maira pulled out her bow and readyed it as the monster got back up and began to charge as the woman ran away.

"you are quite fullish to challage me and I'll kill you for that."

She said as she jumped over it shooting a few arrows at his head as the bounced off clearly his head wasn't going to be effected by them. She then landed and putt her bow away.

"No bow it is then so i gess its hand to hand."

She then would charge at him at max speed and repeat the move she entered with.

Hotwire had heard the alarm that some portal or other had opened in Midtown Jump.

Oddly... he wasn't the first hero on the scene... the first titan sure... but not the first powered hero.

The first one he noticed was Claira... the animal girl he had spent some time with.
He saw a few others... but none he recognized. That wasn't the thing that stuck out to him though... it was the mechanical dinosaurs on rampage.

"What in the Mezozoic is this?" He muttered.

The alert went off blaring in Titans Tower, and right on que Aeon showed up on all of the Titans communicators with coordinates int he upper left corner of the screen.

"Calling ALL Titans! We have a possible Alpha level crisis in Midtown. What can only really be described as a portal phenomenon similar to Gx26's technology is occurring in the city. I would call it a trans-dimensional gateway, but it doesn't lead anywhere near across space or time. My scanners are picking up that it leads to inner Earth near the core, actually? By the way, the only reason I can pick this up is because the Ultimatrix signal is located there; it appears Ben's in some trouble if he went in alone because he's not responding to any of my attempts to communicate at all. All Titans Honorary or otherwise convene at this location immediately and........Oh wait, this looks bad....something's coming through."

It was at that time the aliens emerged from the portal and began to fallout through the immediate area. The authorities and preservers of the peace were first to meet them, but as more came through the Jump City police force found themselves being pushed back immediately by sheer power, numbers, and superior weaponry.

Also to make things worse, waveryn riders emerged from the vortex on the back of pterodactyl's meant to take out the choppers in the air. One even flew at Claria with what appeared like a high tech blow dart in it's hand. As they took to the skies the aliens began to move out in formations, securing perimeters and taking no hostages unless necessary to draw out the enemy. They moved in squads of 3 or 4 towards all in their way with weapons hot, assumingly targeting the heroes, villains, and anyone else near-by that did not look like them as a traget no matter physical appearance of the specimen.

OT: In the words of Mortal Kombat: FIGHT! (Pretend it's like the Avengers movie pretty much)

A few minutes ago, Sam was minding his own buisness in a convenience store when he heard some commotion going on. This was Jump City, so that didn't catch his attention. That was to be expected. Then he started hearing explosion. That...was ALSO expeted, but it was more than enough to get his attention. Maybe he was gonna get some candy or something from there. Not anymore. He walked out of the store and climbed aboard his motorcycle, putting his helmet it on before reving the ignition before speeding off toward the source of the explosion sounds.

As he came to the top of a hill over looking the city, Sam was glad he decided to gome check things out. He couldn't quite make out what was going on down there 100%...but he saw enough. Fire, explosions, was that a....Yes. Yes, that was in fact, a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

"What." Sam said flatly to nobody inparticular. He was just expressing his confusion at this point.

Now, there were a few things going through Sam's mind at this point. From what he figured, sh*t was hitting fan down there. It was by no means safe, and if he went any closer, the chances of him dying would drastically increase...buuuuuuuut, if he DID keep going, he'd get to fight a friggin' T.rex, and probablly a lot of other awesome crap, too! And there were probablly people who needed help, too. So once again, the side of being smart and running away lost to doing the right thing fighting a damn Tyrannosaurus, holy crap. With another engine rev, the bike accelerated down the road at blisteringly fast speeds. Mid-way through his descent, he stuck one arm straight up into the air, palm open and facing the sky. With a loud, confident shout, he spoke one word:

"HENSHIN!!!"

A blinding ray of light burst from Sam's hand, the glow engulfing his full figure. The helmeted, humanoid shape of light's form shifted into a more insectoid form. As the glow faded, Beetle Knight had taken Sam's place on the motorcycle. The armored fighter sped onward to the area where the boom tube spawned....all this crap. Weaving through the currently overwhelmed police and military force, Beetle was quickly iriding through the thick of the action. Using one hand to steer and control his bike, Beetle Knight began firing off beams of concentrated solar power at....well, anything that looked like a threat. The big aliens, the robots, the guys mounted on Pterosaurs...anything that looked big, scary, mean, and itching for a fight.

That was a LOT of things to attack. Beetle had a feeling he was gonna enjoy this...

Looking at everyone and the Beetle guy she spoke CHARGE!! the hawk girl called out hoping the others Metas would listen since city crisis had begun.After her simple shout Katera glared at all the flying montures who came out of this huge portal and shoot fire to the wad of these aerial creatures,missing a few though.Catching alert she rushed over a inch closer to the wormhole but kept distance and saw the brownish alien come out Ben! the young girl thought and charged over as aliens were shooting over him.

hey! over here Katera shrieked and sharply flew over the ennemies and launched thunderbolt from her hands to hold a distraction which would give time for Humungousaur to regain balance on the battlefield,although she wasnt acting like the boss right now,it just that the city needed protection
