New Faces (Open)

Jump City, a place bustling with commotion. It was bright and sunny as Empress hung overhead, her long black cloak billowing in the slight breeze. She floated over the buildings, looking down on the townspeople as they went about their daily business. She shook her head a little, "Poor pitiful humans, they have no idea what is about to hit them," She said softly and then smiled. The only reason they would have any trouble, was if Empress chose to start some. She would get no better enjoyment out of her day then to ruin someone else's. She raised her hands in front of her, and concentrated. A solid black hammer appeared several feet down, in from of a pet shop. She made the hammer smash the window,then smash all the cages open. Snakes, dogs, cats, and birds excaped into the streets, causing mass chaos. Cars swerved into one another so as not to hit the animals.

Empress watched from above, cackling quietly, Perfect," She said softly, taking a lot of enjoyment from watching the madness.

Tim had been out for a nice walk around the city, or in other words hunting for law breakers. He turned the corner and saw the chaos. Tim couldn't help smiling he finally had some more work to do. He became invisible and ran around dodging people looking for whoever was causing the problems. He didn't notice a car lose control and it hit him at 10 Mph, causing him to roll up the hood and smash the windshield. He was still invisible and rolled off a little shaken to continue his hunt.

Empress saw a car collide with a man, and watched as the car took the damage. This man definetly looked like trouble, but whether it was trouble for her or trouble for the human she did not know. Her black cloak billowing in the breeze, she watched him. If he caused trouble she would soon end him. She would not let someone ruin her fun. She saw not to far from the pet shop, a market that sold produce. Grinning madly, she created a thin black sword out of thin air and sliced off the legs of the tables that held the produce. All the fruits and vegetables went rolling along the street, knocking people over and creating even more chaos. She was having so much fun with this.

Tim glanced up and saw her, he reactivated his invisibility when she wasn't looking and as he was running across the park he fired a beshadowed spear at her. The dark beam headed for her chest the magic would cause a thick film of black magic over her eyes that would prevent vision. He ducked behind a tree and watched, still invisible.

Empress saw the beam come towards her and created a solid black shield. This shield could black any magic, or any solid object. She knew she couldn't hold it long, as holding objects for too long strained her mind. But as the beam collided with her shield she watch it rebound into the sky, and she smiled. It would take more than that to take her down. At least now she knew that the man was not someone she wanted hanging around. Not knowing where he was, she floated there, waiting for him to reveal himself.

Tim ran around behind still relying on his invisibility and took a shot with his eldritch blast at her back. Tim looked back over his shoulder and fired another from her right as he began to circle and move in and out from her to make it harder to find him. Tim figured if she actually hit him the battle would be over quickly.

This guy was good, she thought as she flew lower, both blasts missing her. She had no idea where he was and she couldn't dodge many more if her was going to send them crazily like he was. She knew that if he stayed invisible, she had no chance of even getting a solid hit on him. This angered her and in anger she sent three solid black blades down to her right, knowing she was probably way off.

She wasn't off by far, luckily Tim was closer than she thought. He ducked under the only blade that could have hit him, and fired at her expecting this would be where she expected the blast to come from. He knew she was powerful and that in the right situation she could have made a great ally.

She saw the blast coming and smiled, she had been right. She raised a shield, deflecting the blast and sent more swords his way. She was hoping that this time, she actually hit him. She waited, trying to see if this time, her aim was right on the mark.

Tim dove back and rolled to his feet before spinning behind a tree for cover. He hadn't seen an attack that close since he was a kid fighting Malharon. Tim stayed still a moment and then started up the tree, he kicked a rock out to make it look like he was running out though. Tim headed up trying to get above her.

Empress saw the rock and send blades flying in that direction. This was getting old, really fast. Plus, she was missing out on watching the fun she had caused for the poor pitiful humans. How dare he ruin her fun! Angrily she sent three set of blades (nine total) in that direction. One set came really close to the tree, scraping the bark just a hair. She was really irritated now that she was missing out on all the fun she had caused.

Tim had made it to the top and dove at her planning to tackle her hoping that she couldn't create the blades that close to her, he wasn't holding his breath though.

Empress kept sending blades every direction as she unleashed her rage. Her blades peirced glass, cut leaves off trees, hit some of the pets, and just caused much more chaos then needed. She screamed in anger and kept shooting the blades out from her.

Tim wrapped his arms around her and tried to take her to the ground. He tried to use his eldritch blast point blank. He was glad it was a beam rather than an explosive like Mal's. Tim did his best to try to pin her down.

Once she was grabbed and dragged down, she landed roughly on the cement. Grimacing, she made a giant hammer appear above him and sent it down onto his back. Sure it would hurt her too, but maybe he would get off her.
