Wandering (open)

After her fight with Phoenix, Aurora wasn't so much of a hurry to get to the Tower pointed out by the man she had met in the park. Instead she found herself wandering through a very busy part of the city, where she received a lot of strange looks. It didn't bother her, she was used to it from all the cities, towns, and even villages she had entered. It frustrated her that after so much time searching for a heroes that when she finally found a town where she would be able to meet them and now she was left so confused because of Phoenix's reaction at the park. Of course it had been against the whole venture from the beginning but now it was encouraging her to go in the another direction she didn't want to go. She rubbed her forehead, stumbling as someone pushed passed her. She looked around at the shops surrounding her, and ducked inside a random one to take refuge from all the people hurrying around outside.

"Shall I come retrieve you?" the Phoenix whispered in her mind. Aurora immediately ignored its question pushing it completely from her mind. She didn't want to deal with another argument between the two of them and if she knew Phoenix it would happen. She began to feel odd just standing in a shop with no money to her name so she exited rather quickly and looked around for another spot to sit and think things over. She really should have just stayed at the park, but she had been so angry with Phoenix and herself for being so naive that she had stormed off. She sighed again as someone else caused her to stagger as they brushed passed. She apparently wasn't going the speed these people desired. "And you want to protect these rude creatures." whispered the great bird, snidely in her mind. "Just, shut up!" she said suddenly, out loud without realizing it until she looked around at the people surrounding her. They all gave her strange looks and hurried past, casting worried glances back at her as though she might attack them. Her face burned with embarrassment, ducking her head she hurried along looking for some place to rest.

A girl of greys wandered the streets as well, having completed her purpose as indicated by a full cloth shopping bag. She was lost in thought, working out in her head how much jewelry she'd have to sell to make rent...while word of Three Valleys was vaguely starting to spread, she was still barely scraping by. Her stomach turned in disgust at the thought of eating more of that cheap junk that passed for food these days, and she let out an audible sigh.

"Just, shut up!"She heard, shaking her out of her reverie to notice someone who looked very out of place. Not that she didn't, either...after all, most who passed her easily confused her looks and mannerisms for that of an old lady before noticing her youthful face. The masses on the streets actively avoided her, both from fear and from worry of the other, of those with mental troubles. Victoria, meanwhile, knew of the many strange happenings in Jump City. No details, of course, but the mangled metal of a battlefield cried its tales of woe and made slight aches in her chest when she dared stroll by.

"M-Miss...?" She asked, wondering if she'd get through the embarrassed hurry the other suddenly found herself in. "Are you well...?"
