"Well spoken telepath" Aijarn agreed to shawn and walked over to Pacific. "Don´t worry" he sad to him and draw his dagger again. Slowly he drove with the tip of his dagger over the icecrust and released smal flames from it to melt the ice.

In the entryway he rubed his chin. Maybe this nun-chuks weren´t toys, although Aijarn thought it would be to much to call them weapons. He was looking around and wounderd what an organization could live here. Was it well known, maybe popular? Maybe he knew them before. But in the end he didn´t come to this land to encounter an more or less secret organization. He had a bloody job to do. Not to find peace but to gain satisfaction and a little bit of justice. Gain satisfacion and justice by bloodsheding...and maby by dying. All the pain would have an end if he took his last breath and without an aim to live it would the best solution. But this were thoughts of the future. At first he had to get into the lab and he was very excited what the telepath would say.

OOC: No, but taking a nun-chuck to the face without suffering any ill effects does. I'm quite okay with the freezing part. (I'm just glad you didn't fry him alive.) But if someone hits you in the face with one of those 'toys,' it's going to hurt, if not break a few bones.

Please excuse how old this video is. While Pacific is obviously not the world's best at nunchucks, he is a master with the weapon. So unless he missed Aijarn, or Aijarn's skin is made of steel, Aijarn should have been in severe pain right now. For now, don't worry about it, but in the future try not to brush off deadly attacks unless you have some armor. (I understand lizard scales to be slightly tougher than human skin, but not as hard as steel. Is this wrong?)

Sorry about the rant, I just didn't like my character's weapon being ignored. I'll be quiet now and wait for Bloodmoon to post.

Shawn again surpressed his anger and did not raise his voice and tried to ignore the magic being used around him said, " I have my reasons I do not think you unfit one I see you know he is part dragon but I saw the look in his eyes he knew you saw him as a monster yes he pulled the dagger out but as you can see it is a catalyst for his powers and he only used it to restrict you. I let him in due to the fact that from what I know of dragons when they see something that is theirs stolen they will fight to the death to get it back. Also there was no way I would get to you in time if he attacked and I do not like my odds against him alone he sees narret as finding a way at getting what he lost to them back what would stop him from getting her later when we are not with her and if he is angry he would get nothing from her which could cause him to hurt her with out meaning to. As well I'm thinking of narret saftey here not only phisacaly but mentally right now your yelling could cause a flashback or if they messed with her DNA whatever they did to her to activate out of that fear of being hurt. As for controling the anger comment it was directed at the half-dragon more so than you. Also I mean no offence to you half-dragon I speak of only what I know of your kind which only inculed those of greece" knowing he was listening. Hearing narret scream he rushed back upstairs to see his shield and parts of his room had become a large snake thing that was protecting narret but she seemed afraid of it almost as if it came from her nightmares. Shawn took a defensive stance and spoke slowly assuming she had created it some how, "Narret look at me your safe no one will hurt you Pacific is alright and is on his way up".

OOC: sorry for ignoring Pacific´s weaponskill but if Aijarn doesn´t show his pain this doesn´t mean he feel no pain. He is just to stubborn to show it. And actually scales are as useless as skin against dull weapons

OOC: Okay, I understand now.

BIC: Pacific listened to Shawn's explanation. Shawn did have his reasons for what he did. Whether Pacific would agree with them would have to be decided later. They had to focus on the problem at hand: an intimidating stranger who wanted to talk to a scared little girl.

"Okay, we can let our dragon friend talk to Narret, but only if Narret agrees and the dragon's kept in handcuffs..." Suddenly, there was a scream from upstairs. It was Narret. Pacific ran to the stairs, ignoring the dragon for the moment. He was not nearly as fast as Shawn, but was able to arrive in the room a few seconds later.

A snake made of random objects, including Shawn's shield, was slithering along on the ground. "What is that thing?" Narret was quite justified in screaming. This thing was scary.

Pacific made his way around the edge of the room until he was standing next to Narret. If the thing tried to attack her, he would try to destroy it...if it could be destroyed. "Don't worry, Narret. We'll take care of this."

Also Aijarn heard the scream of Narret. Immediately he ran anfter Pacific and Shawn and was frightened. "Allmighty Io" he wispered and put his Hand on his dagger "Be carefull. I´am sure she have summon this construct but I think she can´t control it." Aijarn had heared of such things before. Masters of psionic powers often summon these constructs to defend them in a Fight but he never saw such thing befor. "Maby she summoned this guard accidentally"

At first Narret was beginning to calm down, the soothing words from Shawn, and the reassuring words of Pacific made her unfurl from her little ball, to look at them in hope. In fact the agitated snake construct seemed to calm.

But then Aijarn stepped in.

Narret had no idea who he was, she was not introduced to him earlier, and when he spoke he sounded just like the shouting from earlier. As far as Narret knew he was the assailant that had come for her. Her eyes widened as the fear and panic set in. The creature reacted by growing. Multiple objects from the room tore themselves from their places to build up on the creature. It's mass grew greatly, and large chunks of Shawn's poor bed were torn asunder to make the creature arms. It let out a loud but whisper like hiss. Like as if it's vocal cords were made of fabric. It took hold of Narret, who of course screamed from the sudden physical contact. It's tail wrapped tightly at the windowsill edge as it plummeted to the ground with Narret in claw. As it neared the ground, it released her gently on the pavement below, and with a snarl shot back up and through the window and let loose a volley of bolts from it's head at all three of them.

Narret didn't know what to do at all, the monster that always chased her saved her, but it was after some people that had taken her in. In her confusion she ran. Not know how to handle this or what to do.

The creature however still remained. Attacking the three at random with wooden claws and bolts from the hidden crossbow. It wasn't that powerful of a creature, just very swift. And the materials it was made of made it highly combustible.

((Exit Narret; Stage left))

There was a moment of clarity in which the half-dragon appeared and suggested that the construct had been accidentally made by Narret. Pacific believed this without even thinking. Normal people would still be trying to figure out what this thing was, but the half-dragon had spat out an explanation without time to hardly even see it. Perhaps the dragon had seen this thing before, or at least something like it.

Then everything went horribly wrong. The construct suddenly sucked in objects around the room, including Shawn's now destroyed bed, and took on a larger form. And this new form had arms.

The construct grabbed Narret, broke through the wall, and jumped down to the street. A second later, it returned and unleashed a volley of crossbow bolts at the three of them.

One of the bolts hit Pacific in the shoulder. He looked down in shock as the projectile protruded from his flesh, seeping blood. The pain hadn't set in fully, yet, so Pacific charged foreward at the construct. His other arm spun a nunchuck into the construct's chest. Hopefully, it's makeshift frame would break and the thing would die.

Shawn raised his shield to block the bolts that where shot at him seeing Pacific hit in the shoulder rush the snake thing. Shawn shot forward as wellreturning fire he then sprung behind the shield head holding on for dear life and undid the face of the shield and begin to disable the shields hidden bow.

Aijarn drew his dagger in a wide curve, creating an ice wall to block the bolts and then ramed his dagger with a loud battlecry foreward to toss the wall against the snake´s head. "Her powers must be amazing if she is abel to create a independent guardian" he wispered awestruck.

The creature writhed about, trying to shake off Shawn from it's serpentine body. But due to the hasty and rather shoddy composition it was not really fit for direct combat, in fact Shawns weight now had the monster pinned down. Pacifics blows weren't just damaging the construct, they were tearing it apart. Aijarns ice-wall even impacted. The serpent tried to counted by ramming it's head into the wall, but all that did was shatter it and rain shards of ice onto the rest of it, cutting it's makeshift body apart. But even battered, and broken near beyond recognition, the thing was still active and thrashing against Shawns weight. With how endurable this thing was at this size and what it was made of, one might ponder at what true nightmares the small child could make on accident. With it's broken, and near zomble like body, the creature attempted to strike at Shawn with everything. It's body was broken and damaged, but all that had really done to it was bake it's body sharp and armed with pointy things.

But even as it tried to strike out with everything it had, the azure light that made up the creatures eyes seemed to fade to nothing. The serpents body falling to pieces as it's last attack flew. All that remained of it was a piled of broken and shattered objects.

And no one to pick up the bill.

The construct was finally beaten. Pacific was breathing hard. He grabbed the bolt in his shoulder and pulled it out with a grunt. Reaching for his medical kit, he quickly cleaned and bandaged the wound.

"Shawn, these aren't poison-tipped, are they?"

Narret was gone. Perhaps they could track her down, but now she was running scared again. It would be difficult.

Pacific had the urge to beat the lizard man for scaring Narret, but he held himself back. It wouldn't help the situation. "Mr. Dragonman, thank you for helping us destroy that thing. However, perhaps showing your terrifying face to a frightened little girl with superpowers was not the best idea. I don't know anything about you, sir, and I have had to make assumptions about you. Whether or not those assumptions are true, you must acknowledge that to the ordinary citizen, you look like a monster. Your very appearance inspires fear and will lead to violence if not handled well. Perhaps where you come from it is different, but this is how it works in Jump City. I am not blaming you for your genetics, and there is nothing inherently wrong with being a lizard-person. However, I demand that you take responsibility for your appearance. You cannot go around in this city scaring little children. We will find you a costume or disguise of some sort, and you are not to approach Narret again until I say she's ready. Have I made myself abundantly clear?"

Pacific hoped that the two of them could come to a quick understanding. They had to find Narret before someone else did. Who knows what the people from the laboratory would do if they found her?

"First I´am not a simple lizard-human I´am a halfdragon. So pleas stop insulting my mother and her family by call them lizards. Secondly this girl is an psimaster or something else with an incedibly power. I never saw something like that and i think neither you so maybe you will need me if you want to find her before she destroys the whole city accidentally" Aijarn responded with a calm voice but his bodylanguage told that he was about to get in rage.

The upcoming memories of his his parents, which were so different but loved each other so strong, of his mother which teached him the secrets of dragon magic, of his father who teached him allways to be tolerant, kindhearted and proud on what he is and of cause the memories of the one day which changed his life stirred him very much.
"And I´am not goning to disguise me more then my capuchin does. I want people to see me and I want someones to find me."

He clenched his hands and looked to the ground. His anger was clearly hearable in his voice "and when they find me I will let them pay for what they have done" he wispered and then looked back to pacific and shwan.

"So what are you going to do? Trecking her down the find her befor she hurts herself and others or wasting more time by talking?"

How was he supposed to know anything about halfdragons? This person had come from another dimension and invaded Pacific's home. Now he wanted to be respected? But they couldn't argue like this anymore. Aijarn was right. They needed to find the girl.

"You're right. I need your help. And that's why you have to disguise yourself. At least until we find the girl. We can't have stupid people like me attacking you while we search for the girl, can we? We don't have that sort of time. Please, just for this short time, do as I say. Afterwards, I promise that I will not only help you break into the laboratory, but I will also help you find the people who hurt you so much in the past. I will help you find them and get justice."

Pacific saw the emotion in the halfdragon's eyes. He hoped that a promise like this would help the dragon focus on the present situation. Gaining the Night Hawks as allies would hopefully be enticing enough to make the halfdragon willingly hide his true nature for a few minutes.

"Besides," Pacific said with a clever smile. "This will make us find her faster."
