| In return, Psychosis shakes hands with Pacific. He could see that the young boy was filled with hope that he could help the city and that he was willing to strive to do that.
It's not a problem. It's a shame that the guy got away, he was tougher than I thought, a mistake on my part for not making that spell wrap around him fully. I haven't heard my comm go off so he hasn't gone off to endanger anyone else. It's a good thing Shawn wasn't left alone for too long. I can't resurrect the dead.
Will hears Ignite asking for help from Pacific, Shawn, and himself. Unsure what she was asking though, he sees Pacific get out a lighter and holds it under her hand. Taking his hand to cup his chin and the other placed underneath his elbow, Will thinks of what he can do to help this girl. Fire spells were not his specialty, but it wasn't something he didn't know how to conjure. Dropping the arm that was under his elbow, Will moves his hand on his face out in front of him, aimed at the flame of the lighter. With his fingers curved out over his palm, a white orb shines brightly in his hand as the flame of the lighter starts trailing like a snake to the orb which combusts into a baseball sized fireball when the flame touched the energy and was absorbed to mirror. Getting closer to Ignite, Psychosis gets ready to fill her body up with fire.
I need you to be calm because I'm going to strike you with this, but it will bring you no pain.
Hoping that the lady understand what he was saying, Will aims for her chest as he moves his arm back and then drives the fire into her body by throwing his arm forward at her.

| Ignite had no clue what was happening. Where she was, she had no clue. Why the heck she was suddenly feeling two circulating currents around her was a mystery, as was truly how she was to respond or feel about two guys getting very close to her.
But by any means, the little pyro felt some type of security with these people.
“Name?” she repeated Pacific’s question as she tried to figure out how an ocean was talking to her, and if she should talk back to it anymore, “I… um, not have vohn. Und, ehm…” ยน this language was killing the poor girl. Suddenly, people’s names had become ‘Slaughter,’ ‘Pacific,’ and yet were all ‘Night Hawks.’ ‘Shawn’ was the only name that made sense to her, but she also recognised that she probably didn’t make sense to anyone.
The heat and flames that were starting to kindle her own were already starting to make her feel a little more cognitive, but this new interference made continuing the process of Heatwave nearly impossible. Her ears would have to do for now, and the words they sucked in like a starved vacuum would have to do for trust.
“Yeah, I can zhtay still,” she continued as she tried to force her eyes to make contact with Psychosis’s; his presence made her feel inferior as did Pacific and Shawn’s. If only I wasn’t blind, this would be a whole lot easier! Ignite pondered, Hmm... I probably won’t meet them again, so there’s no need to tell them that I am. Besides, it doesn’t matter… well, as long as I can fake it for long. “Are you, like, magical gang? I do not have goods, und I not good vith gun, eizher, und I appreciate help, but I not vahnt mingle vith bad man. Und… um, eef you are, you tell me vhere am before I leave, pozhalujsta? Por favor? Yeah? What language you speak, too?” ยฒ --- OOC: ยน “I don’t have a name.” ยฒ “Yes, I can stay still..." “Are you are magical gang, because I don’t have any valuable items, nor am I good with a gun. I appreciate the help, but I don’t want to stay with criminals. And if you are, could you tell me where I am and what language you speak before I get out of here, please? (Pozahalujsta=Russian word for “Please.” Por Favor = Please in Spanish.” :P

| "You don't have a name? That's too bad." The language barrier was getting really annoying. Maybe Shawn could do something with his pack-mind thing.
Or maybe not. A magical gang?
Wait. Pacific thought that he heard a word or two of Spanish in there. He didn't know much Spanish, but he decided it was worth a shot.
"Hablas espanol?" |

| Keeping the conjured fire steady so he didn't set fire to the bed accidentally, Will guides the flames to only touch the girl's body and nothing else. The girl starts to speak, but in a language Will wasn't able to understand. | |

| Ignite was about to reply to Mr. Pacific when...
FWOOSH!
Fire licked her veins and jump-started her dormant heart again, made her mind sharpen and her emotions sync with happiness. Reacting like a lifeless body to a pair of shock panels, her own form literally sprang up and sent her to her feet. Now standing and refreshed, the fifteen-year-old femme looked younger with an air of glowing confidence despite what had just happened. Her smokey, dark grey hair had fallen a bit from the swooping up-do that she had mastered without the aid of a mirror (or any sight, for that matter), and therefore let a few wavy strands rest gently on her forehead and some even over her owlish eyes. Her eyes, speaking thus, seemed even brighter now that Psychosis had generously revitalised her frozen body and now shone like effervescent flames. To a human, she might have looked too strange to be considered beautiful, or her ashen-coloured skin to be an immediate turn off, but the fact of the matter was: she loved the way she looked, even though Ignite had absolutely no idea what she looked like.
Smiling and using heatwave to find Psychosis, she practically leaped at the Titan and hugged him shamelessly, taking care to let go with brevity so not to burn the guy. โSpasiba,โ she thanked him in Russian, and lightly kissed him on both cheeks. โZhatโs Russian vord for โzhank you.โ You help made my mind be clearer, like ashes dust from dirty fireplace!โ
Then, turning to Mr. Pacific, โYou call me Ignite, da? I zhink it good name for flame. Und, spasiba, too! You save me, like true hero. I vas... foolish in doing zhe heroics. I not person cut out of zhat material to be,โ her voice became a bit softer, more humble, โLo siento, hรฉroe. Iโm sorry, for trouble I caused. Und, cรญ, hablas espanol.โ Ignite put her hands gently on Mr. Pacificโs shoulders, then proceeded to say, in English purposefully for Psychosis to hear, โEven hero sometime need saving. Sometime, zhey need more saving most; people, for granted, make mistake zhat ozhers voo are hero are perfect, invincible. I vill not make zhat mistake again. Neizher should you, Mr. Pacificโโbest of us tend to do.โ
ยน Again, smiling, she also hugged the brave hero and kissed on the cheek, only more as a genuine โI think youโre amazing,โ sort of gesture than the more formal pecks to Psychosis, although she respected them equally.
And finally, now facing Bloodmoon, the pyro kind of awkwardly gave him a hug, too. โI vould be more... uh, at-ease, but volfs are sort-of fear of mine. Please, do not take it personally... I am just sucker for local legends of creature. You not normal volf zho, eizher, I tell. Human, yeah, but you stand on hind legs. Zhatโs nice trick. Very cool!โ
ยฒ
OOC: โTranslationโ of sorts, again: ยน โYou could call me Ignite; I think itโs a good name for someone who controls flames. You saved me, like a true hero. I was foolish to try and be one; Iโm not cut out for the job. Thank you, hero. Iโm sorry for the trouble I cause. And yes, I speak Spanish...โ โEven heroes need to be saved, sometimes. Sometimes, theyโre the ones who need it most. A lot of people mistake heroes for being perfect or invincible. I wonโt make that mistake again, and neither should you. The best of us tend to do.โ
ยฒ โI would hug and kiss you more willingly, but wolves scare me. Please donโt take it personally, though; Iโm really into the local legends (I hear in Mexico, like the one about โEl Chupacabraโ), and youโre obviously not a normal wolf. Yes, youโre in human form right now [from what I can tell], but didnโt you stand on your hind legs as a wolf. Thatโs an awesome skill. Very cool!โ |

| "Ignite? I like it. Don't worry, Ignite. You're not the only fool in town. We were out there trying to be heroes too. The Night Hawks want to help protect people, and I already know you want to do that. We would be honored to have someone as dedicated and beautiful as yourself on the team."
Pacific hoped the language barrier wasn't killing his speech right now. "Do you want to join us?" |

| Giving a slight blush because of the girl's kisses, mostly because of the heat from her, Will dispels the fire in his hand. Hearing the mention of "night hawks", Will looks at the boy that's just a few years younger than himself.
The Night Hawks? Youre running your own vigilante group, Pacific? How long have you been doing this?

| Pacific looked at Psychosis. It was like looking at a giant. The man was a prominent member of the Teen Titans, well known for his magical powers.
And Pacific, a mere mortal, dared to look him in the face.
He hoped that he wouldn't come into conflict with the Titans, at least not unless it was necessary. Truthfully, Pacific had nothing against Titans East. Titans Central was certainly more corrupt. They had been killing people for quite some time, and Pacific would not allow that to continue. Not even in the name of justice.
"Yes. It's like my own private army. We've been around for about a month, now. I plan on making Jump City a better place." |

| Intending on making Jump City a better place? Pacific has a lot of spirit, but this team of his. Is Shawn the only member in it right now?
Will senses a fraction of agitation coming from the boy, but not any directed at him. Maybe because his pride was hurt because he had to be saved.
Pacifc, you're doing a good thing and I can tell youre doing this with your heart, wanting to look after your family, friends, and city, but I'm not going to lie. Don't take this as rude, but what happened out there before I arrived? This army of yours, how is it going to be effective at all if you go against criminals that are able to take down your friends without much trouble?
Trying his best to not put a damper on Pacific's spirit, Will tries to cheer him up by patting his hand on Pacific's shoulder and giving him a grin.
I believe that you're trying to do what you can, but think carefully next time and take in the situation.

| Good. Psychosis didn't want to fight. In fact, he praised Pacific for his initiative. Pacific smiled, even as Will asked what they would do against powerful villains like Mr. Slaughter.
Pacific had been thinking the same thing, lately. What would the Night Hawks do if they had a serious fight and there were no Titans to save them. He had tried to recruit people with differing and useful skills, but you couldn't be prepared for everything. As the leader, Pacific would need to take responsibility for the safety of his team. He would do whatever it took. The game he played was dangerous, but he had decided to place the greatest risk upon himself.
"Next time, I hope to be invincible," Pacific joked politely. "But if that does happen, we'll do the same thing the Titans do. We'll fight anyways. We don't do get into this line of work by considering your own well-being." Pacific gave Will an insane smile. "We'll be fine. We're crazy." |
