Land Ho!

As predicted Mike's lackies arose form the van with armed automatic weapons and began to unload on Spider-Girl and Tsesso. Spider-Girl being the closest would get most of the barrage, but dodging gunfire wasn't too much of a hard task with the aid of her senses and reflexs. As bullets flew past her from both sides, now that the other guy seemed to be returning fire. She would drop the smoke pellets while doing back flips, leans, twists and turns to avoid the flying bullets and what also appeared to be flashes of light? Soon the entire area would be covered in a cloud of red smog and the only thing visible were the outlines of men, the zipping of gun shots, and what appeared to be fireballs?

"Now to switch to heat sensory."

Liz would then press a button on her goggles, which effectively changed her sight to register thermal imaging of the men shooting blindly through the fog. Spider-Girl would then move about the group with speed and prowess taking them out one by one. All that could be heard by Stokes and Tsess were the screams of the men as a figure could be seen leaping around in the cloud knocking the henchmen down, combined with Tsesso's magical shells of course. The super-heroess continued pouncing on each one of them, one by one taking them out until their numbers were diminished to a very minimal few. However, their leader seemed to be missing from the pack. She woudl then attempt to speak aloud while scanning for Mike, but of course her voice was muffled by the sounds of the on going shoot out. Although it didn't matter, because she was mainly talking to herself anyway.

"Hmm, where are you?"

As Liz continued to look throught he fog for Stokes, she would decide to continue her search inside the building Mike had crashed into through the hole in the wall that the vehicle made on impcat. It was an office building and as Spider-Girl entered she would look about quietly to keep the element of surprise. She couldn't feel anything from her spider-senses yet, but that's probably because she wasn't in any danger due to the guy not knowing she was in here. Getting annoyed with searching the building out in the open where he could strike, she hopped up onto the ceilding and began wall-crawling from above where she could get a better view.

"Where are you?"

Suddenly Spider-Girls danger sense would kick in just as she thought her last sentence. Then while quickly turning around, she would see a fist flying her way that caught her right between the eyes and sent the girl spiraling down from the ceiling into two cubicles! As she hit the first one she would tear the entire thing sending papers and compute parts flying about and then break the desk in half on the second.

"Urgh...Didn't your mom ever tell you you shouldn't hit girls?"

Liz would start to sit up from in between the two pieces of the wooden desk, rubbing her head as she arose.

"Nunchucks, really guy? This isn't Mortal Kombat, but like the game I prefer the second option."

While talking Spider-Girl would latch her palm onto one half of what used to be a desk that she was resting in between with her wall sticking ability. Then with one motion of her Spidey-strength, she lunged it at him. Hoping to catch the man off guard due to no grabbing motions being made or anything that would tip him off before hand.

Spider-Girl would seem offended by his last remark truly hurt, sarcastically.

"Like you!?! Like what? A woman, a girl, a child, someone with lady parts??? Girls can fight to ya know, you shovinist pig. I knew you were sexist when you slugged me, but now, oh now you've gone too far."

As Liz played dumb, she would run and do a front flip up onto the ceiling above. After her feet hit the ceiling, she would latch onto it with her wall sticking ability and the lunge off at an angle towards Mike Stokes in a tackling motion or a spear from above. This movement would actually happen much faster than described, taking place in under 2 seconds. All the while however, she thought to herself about what Stokes had said.

"What did he mean by someone like you? A meta-human, a teen hero, or all superheroes in general..."

As Mike would grab hold of Liz and spin her around, upon his release she would fly upside down into a rolley chair that wheeled across the floor away from Stokes. But, Spider-Girl's reflexes were quick and while wheeling back she shot her grappling hook towards the man, which ended up missing and hitting the wall behind him; which actually was better for her. For as retracted the web-line, it would yank her and the chair she was in towards Mike Stokes like a sling shot. As she neared him with object, she would twirl release it from her wall-crawling ability and send the rolley chair in itself hurtling towards him. Although she also continued to soar in his general direction to right behind the object.

"Ok, he's definitely no average man. In fact, if it wasn't for the whole murdering psychopath thing. He would be a great ally and a pretty handsome guy."
