• Please read rules in the main roleplay topic first before filling out an application for a character here. If you have a question feel free to ask me via PM or in this topic. Most likely it won't be an issue at all since this is all about your original character's journey through the region of Kanto.
  
  
• Using sprites, digital images, anime photos, and pictures will help to enhance or give a better feel for your application; which can eliminate confusion in the future. An example being if you have a boy Nidoran or a girl one or if you have a shiny Pokemon. This is not a requirement however.

Personality: JaK is young, determined, and dreams of being a pokemon master. He's very serious for a boy his age and pretty witty but at the same time can be extremely ignorant when it comes to situations foreign to him. He wishes to battle and win against everyone he comes across. He is an extremely sore loser and is overly competitive in everything he does. He cares a lot for his fellow man and pokemon and always has a crush on older female trainers (although he'll never admit it.) JaK likes to try to solve issues on his own and is an extremely hard worker. His secondary goal is to catch his favorite legendary pokemon...

Bio:  JaK was born to a failed adventurer from Viridian City and a former Gym Leader from Sinnoh. JaK’s father set out to see the world when he was 12 and entered many Pokemon Leagues in every region. He failed time and time again but eventually gave up on his dream to start a family with JaK’s mother. His parents met when his father was challenging a Gym in Sinnoh. The battle was fierce but neither of them would give up! JaK’s father loved his mothers beauty and skill. His mother loved his father’s determination and strength. 9 month’s later JaK was born and they moved to Pallet Town where life was simple and the world class Pokémon academy was ran by famed Professor Oak. However at the age of 5, JaK’s father had the urge to seek adventure again and started a foundation to help out regions suffering from natural disasters via utilizing Pokémon all over the globe. His father returned once from his new venture when JaK was 7 years old and gave him his first Pokémon and then never returned home again. He had actually passed his exams a couple of years ago but was unable to leave due to his mother's ill health and the fact that his father was working away in another region and was unable to return. Bio: Originally born in Viridian City, when her mother remarried, Evelyn became Pallet Town natives. Evelyn Oak is the niece of Professor Oak, by marriage only. However, even though they aren't blood relatives, she calls him Uncle Oak instead of Professor and wants to follow in his foot steps as a researcher. As a small child she would often intern for Professor Oak and literally follow in his shadow taking notes. One day Evelyn wants to become a researcher of all different types of Pokemon and wants to build a large institute dedicated to studying all types of Pokemon, even legendary ones. Evelyn's dream is to create a world where human beings understand Pokemon as much as people understand the human body. Evelyn at first was warry about venturing out on her own into the world but after taking a year or so to think about it, she has finally decided to take the plunge into creating her own legacy by studying and capturing all the many different types of Pokemon around the world.

How that can be so, is beyond comprehension, but Jay is known for his overconfidence in his abilities, which is only complimented by Kay's extremely vain nature in talking herself up, especially when it comes to her beauty. Bio: Kay was born in Saffron City to a family of scholars. They never wanted her to get involved with Pokemon, although kay always loved the idea of being a trainer. No, Kay was the prettiest of her five siblings and thus had to be perfect. The perfect daughter, the perfect model, the perfect girlfriend, the perfect...Everything. That is until one day she met "The Boss" while out on a modeling gig. He was so charming. He was so dangerous! He was so so so perfect!  After a couple wild night's together the boss asked her to join Team Rocket and she couldn't sign up fast enough. A life of adventure with Pokemon, it was all she had ever wanted. Something that would fulfill her every desire. It was only later she discovered that this life she had entered in to was highly, illegal....Oops.


Bio: Jay was a street rat in one of the most fast moving city's in the world, Vermillion City! Here mercy was for the weak, scammers and thieves were around every corner, and if you didn't have a Pokemon to help you out, you were nobody. Jay worked odd jobs and stole what he needed from the age of four to twelve. After that he noticed he was slightly better than most regular people at darn near everything and decided to try to find what he was meant to do in this world. Jay succeeded at every attempt he made in society and always landed that big part, that huge role, and that one highly coveted position over and over again. However his attitude was always so bad that others could not stand to be around him. Jay found he was always harmoniously kicked out, cast aside, and pushed away by others more inferior to him. One day after being fired from his forty-eighth job he was approached by a stranger. The Boss took Jay underneath his wing and showed him a world on the underbelly of society. A world in which his many talents could be show cased in a much different, yet useful fashion.

She’s also known as headstrong, stubborn and also known to be quite competitive never turning down a battle. This free spirited nature of hers and lack of seriousness tends to get her in trouble in the dojo where a certain demeanor is required.

Habits/Likes/Dislikes: This girl loves sweets, the outdoors, exploring, fighting and especially, Pokémon battling. Nothing thrills her more than seeing the progress of her and her Pokemon getting stronger together. She does like her peaceful moments as well that involve meditating, learning about plants and berries that could be used for medicinal purposes and benefit both humans and Pokemon.

Bio: Eunji’s mother was a leading scientist who worked for Devon Corporation in Rustboro City in the Hoenn region, until she was transferred to work in Silph Co. in Saffron city. There she met Eunji’s father who was a skilled brute from the fighting dojo there. When Eunji was born it was clear she was her father’s daughter, with a love for fighting, and pokemon.

Personality: Nicole is an interesting young woman, who has an almost unhealthy obsession with the ancient past. She very much prefers following in her father's foosteps and be spelunking in caves, or excavating things from ancient history. Many acknowledge that she's kind of eccentric, even at her age and at a glance people think she's unreliable. Nicole's interest in history also extends to the more spiritual, and ghost pokemon seem to innately be more interested with her, adding to people's image of her being strange. She doesn't seem to even be aware of this, or at least doesn't think there's nothing weird about her hobbies and interests- it's everyone else thinking she's weird that are weird! But one thing people can say about her, is that she can be relied on when it really counts. She does not crack under pressure and actually does better under such situations. it should also be mentioned that while she is mostly interested in learning about the ancient past, she also does take interest in other people- especially if they're a would-be challenger of her gym.

When a challenger can actually get a hold of her to challenge the gym, her ability to persevere under pressure ramps up. Her usual easy and laid back attitude gives away and she seems to cut loose more in an assertive way. As a gym leader, she feels it her duty to ensure those looking to go on to the league are prepared for the journey ahead. She is a firm but fair gym leader, challenging opponents and testing them without going too overboard, but it is implied that she still isn't going all out.

Place of Origin: Lavender Town



Bio: Nicole was born to a pair of former archaeologists. Her father was originally from Lavender Town, but like many before him, took the first chance to leave and challenge the league. It was during this journey, and his apparent failure to go all the way he found a new calling in archaeology. It was in the Alola region where this new journey took place, and where he got a pokemon that would become a close member of his family down the road. He visited different regions to invetigate ruins and uncover long lost artifacts where he eventually met his wife (who had a Lycanroc like him), and some time later returned to Lavender Town to settle down. Nicole was born and at an early age, took after her parents and developed a love for ancient history and collecting things she dug up; this passion extended to long lost prehistoric pokemon. Her first actual pokemon was a Rockruff. Their family often took vacations to the other regions, her parents revisting old haunts and growing Nicole's collection of prehistoric pokemon.

Then as with all things, her parents soon passed away. She decided to follow in her father's foosteps, and went on to try challenging the league herself! She got pretty far, further than her father at least but in the end also suffered defeat. For reasons unknown to everyone but herself, she decided to move to Pewter City and at some point became the new Pewter City Gym Leader where she still has to often remind people that she is indeed the gym leader. In her spare time, Nicole has taken after her father and is most often can  be found within or somewhere around Mt. Moon, digging for fossils or the odd contractor job.
