Weislogia had decided to try adjusting to the way this primitive world worked and start offering her services online. She was told this would be a much more effective way of gaining followers and providing services in this century. Getting the patents was hard and required a lot of studying and time spent in long lines since she didn't even have a cell phone or a computer. Luckily, a lot of men at the local library seemed willing to help her figure out how to navigate the internet and directed her to all the proper websites and channels to get things going. None of them seemed to want to be one of her followers however but they all did give her their contact information in case she wanted to come over and ask for more help. Many of the men oddly asked her to come late at night, and Weis liked to sleep in so that was an issue. Oh well. She could figure out the rest on her own!
Weis was even able to finally scrounge up enough money to pay for the license! Yes, Weislogia's business was almost finished. Now all that was left was to choose a venue....That being said she couldn't find any space available in Jump City. But in Steel City office space was cheap! Something about hazardous work conditions. Anywho, Weis made her way to Steel City by using her last bit of currency to buy a bus ticket. Once she arrived she immediately got to work on getting a return on her investment. She found the abandoned lot she had purchased, which was a small plot of dirt between two large office buildings, and grinned from ear to ear. This was it! This was her start. A few hours later with the help of a little bit of white paint and some wooden boards she had found by the nearby dumpster the girl had finished.
It was a crude little lemonade stand like desk set-up with a stick figure happy face drawing of herself with pig-tails and a sign that read "Goddess-4-Hire" on it. Now she was officially open for business! She even bought a sign that said open & closed, which she hung off the side of the counter. Weislogia - still covered in paint - stood behind the counter of her booth and waited patiently with a smile. She had done the research this was going to work!
The time was 2 am, and she had read between the hours of 2 and 4 was usually rush hour traffic in this city. Which was odd considering there weren't too many people out in this area except women in high heels and men wearing hoodies with gold plated teeth. It all seemed kind of strange but Weislogia was a foreigner here, maybe she just didn't understand the ways of the past. Once she got some followers she would ask them to explain everything about this archaic past world in more detail to her.
Yup, any minute now...Someone would come. She just needed to wait for her business model to work it's magic.
