Main Power Origins: All of his abilities have been honed through extreme intense training as well as a life of constant combat followed by a child hood as a acrobatic.

Powers:
• Almost Super Human Agility
• To make "The Great Leap," as he called it, Grayson had to jump longer, faster and farther than any non-powered person in DC's history. After taking a balloon about 132,000 ft up in the air, Grayson withstood temperatures that were 75 degrees below zero and ultra-thin air in nothing but a thin pressurized flight suit. During his 15-minute trip down to Earth, he broke the sound barrier with a top speed of about 930 mph. By the time he reached the ground, Grayson had broken four world records for altitude and endurance.
• After joining the Spiral agency, Grayson received Hypnos, hi-tech contact lens-esque devices that gave him a number of abilities suited to the world of espionage. Grayson can essentially use the Hypnos as a form of artificial telepathy. He could hypnotize untrained minds or make his targets hallucinate. The implants also masked Grayson's identity by making his face look like a swirl on any kind of electronic recording and in people's memories. The Hypnos, which every Spyral agent wore, could also be used to upload information, including live feeds from other agents, directly into their users' minds.

Physical Weaknesses:
• No matter how skillful he is he is still mortal. His since of honor and saving the innocence has gotten him in trouble from time to time but as he grows in age and wisdom (learning most cases in life the hard way and of course having it beat into him by his sensi Batman) he will not fall for the same things all the time.

Mental Weaknesses:
• Overuse or misuse of the Hypnos could result in the ominous -sounding "two-brain scramble." They could also give their users memory gaps or result in "post-mental interrogation trauma" after being used to pry secrets from someone's mind. Hypnos could even be used to take control of someone wearing them.

Equipment
• Nightwing Cowl: Nightwing's current suit was built by Richard/Dick himself and specifically designed for his abilities. It appears to be colored for dark camouflage in order to utilize Nightwing's mastery of stealth. It is made out of hard and soft Kevlar to allow Nightwing complete mobility and protection against advanced weaponry. Dick Grayson was not the only one to wear the Nightwing suit, Damian Wayne in the injustice series as well as Jason Todd have worn the suit at least once, which seems to be forgotten about. They both seems to have some unique equipment.

• Mask: Nightwing's domino mask grants the ability to focus on points farther than the naked eye as well as night vision.
• Holographic Computer: Nightwing has a holographic computer interface and hacking cable attached to his glove which gives him easy access to building schematics and data files. There is a USB-cable that he can hook up to larger systems that allowed him complete access through his advanced hacking programs.
• Utility Belt: Nightwing like the rest of the batfamily carries a utility belt which has several pockets around his waste for instant access to his several gadgets including his:

• Escrima Sticks: Nightwing's signature weapons are his close combat twin fighting batons. They are expandable metal bars that Nightwing utilizes to maximize his close quarters fighting ability by striking quickly and powerfully. They are stored on his right thigh in their retracted form for instant access. The escrima's also contain tasers at the base, which gives Nightwing the possibility to shock his opponent.
• Wing Dings: Nightwing's custom variants of Batarangs. They are boomerang like shurikens that can knock out most people with a direct hit to the head. They also posses several abilities such as having a electric and explosive effect.
• Wrist Darts: Hidden darts inside Nightwing's gloves that he can fire from his wrist. These darts can also have several effects such as connecting to a rope and possess an electric charge.
• Brass Knuckles: A single metal knuckle that grants Nightwing greater punching power against opponents.
• Re-breather: A small device that allows Nightwing to breathe underwater or filter out harmful gases in the air.
• Grappling Gun: A hand-held devices that fires a grappling hook across far distances giving Nightwing the window to make hasty escapes and climb high objects and buildings. The grapple lines can be lengthened and pulled back utilizing the buttons on the gun.
• Handcuffs: Nightwing is equipped with custom handcuffs that hook and lock much faster then average, though this may be due to Nightwing's skills.
• Explosive Pellets: Tiny marble like devices that can utilize various effects such as explosion, gas release and a tripping element.

Personality
During Nightwing's time as Robin he was described to quite the opposite of his mentor Batman. While his mentor was cold and very serious Robin's demeanor was naturally a very lighthearted individual who seemed to take joy in nearly everything that he did. Despite his immaturity he could get along very well with people who were older than him and tended to act more maturely whenever he was tasked with a certain level of responsibility.
When simply interacting with his friends during his time with the original Teen Titans, Robin behaved in a jovial and oftentimes "little brother" role, in which he joked freely about his teammates, and even made fun of them when they made mistakes. He had a particularly close friendship with Kid Flash, with whom he was able to joke and often treated like a brother of sorts. Robin also seemed to take great pleasure in creating back-formations, by removing "prefixes" from commonly used words such as "disturbed" and "overwhelmed" to create neologisms.
Robin also had a deep respect for all his comrades and his mentor. He would always look to aid those of them in need over the mission itself, which directly contradicts what he was taught by Batman. This eventually caused him to become more mature and serious towards Batman's actions and they have many disagreements so Robin starts to spend more time on the Teen Titans leading him into getting fired.
Dick then chose the mantel of Nightwing and has developed a personality significantly more mature then during his time as Robin, as he takes his missions far more seriously then before, and now interacts and trusts his comrades equal to or more so then he trusted his former mentor Batman. Nightwing eventually came to terms with Batman but decided to move to Blüdhaven in order to be his own hero. After understanding what Batman had to go through as a lone Hero, Nightwing began to interact more and regained his respect and trust for his mentor as well as his new protege Tim Drake.

History
Richard "Dick" Grayson was the child of the acrobatic circus family "The Flying Graysons" of Haly's Circus. He was named after his uncle, ick. His parents John and Mary, along with cousin John and aunt Karlacident" caused by mob boss Zucco on April 1st, 2000. Dick, who did not participate in the fare. Robin under Bruce's training (eventually bringing Zucco to justice together). Batman's main motivation was to make sure young Dick would not grow the way he did with vengeance and revenge.
During his time as Robin, Dick trained hard to master his acrobatics and eventually developed expertise in impressive martial arts, marksmanship and detective skills at the age of only 10. During this time he also trained alongside Barbara Gordon who was Batgirl at the time and the two become close friends and a cohesive unit alongside Batman.

Robin continued to grow as a hero during his teenage years
Several years later, at the age of 13, Robin also met other young sidekicks including his close friends Aqualad, Kid Flash and Speedy and formed the Teen Titans while remaining Batman's protege. Robin developed a nact for leadership and was more experienced than the other sidekicks but struggled to develop a Team until he decided to step down from leadership until he was truly ready.
During these years Robin began to develop a conflicting personality with that of Batman due to his priority of his teammates rather than whatever is at stake. Batman also continued to treat Robin as a kid despite he was growing into a very capable superhero during only his teenage years. Robin began to drift more and more away from Batman due to their issues but eventually disbanded the Titans and returned to Batman's side, only to make matters worse. Soon after, Barbara Gordon was shot and paralyzed by the Joker traumatizing Robin. Robin blamed Batman for this due to his sense of urgency for "the mission" instead of protecting Batgirl while Robin was away. Dick then decided to quit the role of Batman's sidekick the Boy Wonder.
Nightwing Early
Nightwing became his own hero after leaving Batman's side
Dick left Gotham to travel the world and exposed himself to the many people he wanted to protect by becoming stronger independently. During this time he ventured to Metropolis and was mentored by Superman who inspired him to become his own man and not that of Batman. He returned to Gotham and decided to show Batman that there is another way to be a "hero" and invented himself into the superhero "Nightwing", named after one of Superman's past Kryptonian friends.
The two looked over Gotham as more rivals than partners due to Nightwing's anger towards Batman over Bruce's morality. Eventually, Nightwing decided to leave Gotham in Batman's capable hands and soon became the Guardian of Blüdhaven which intern led him to come to terms with Batman after realizing how tough it is to bring a city in darkness to the light. Nightwing then began to reconnect with both Batman and his old allies in order to reform the Titans. Due to his great heroism, Nightwing was invited into the League but refused and instead became the leader of the Titans in Aqualad's place.

Nightwing stands a top a skyscraper outlooks Bludhaven, the brisk night are tossing his dark locks around almost playfully as he takes a deep breath and then smirks. Gazing across hundreds of roof tops his past comes to mind and he can't help but shake his head at all the memories almost giving a slight chuckle. He blue symbol on his chest shines bright against the glorious glow of a full moon. “Well might as well get the party started.”

He says as he crouches low then using his almost super human agility he pushes off with such force one of the slightly loose pieces of stone seems to crumble. Even with the slight change in his footing Nightwing's Ariel triple front flip into a perfect swan dive goes off flawless. Nightwing raises his right arm after removing a small Titanium Alloy rod from a compartment on his utility belt, he gestures with his arm extending the rod as a small grappling wing-ding shaped hook fires outward and grabs holds of a building edge ahead allowing for his momentum to swing him at heightened speeds to his specified trajectory, the rooftop of a local coffee shop.

“Guess I need to watch my liftoff next time need to jot that area down so I can make sure it gets properly repaired later. Now then times to tune in to our local goon hotline.” Nightwing walks to the edge of the rooftop and with a simple touch to his mask a scan activates a green graph like laser grid appears momentarily as his equipment establishes a link to the Batcave and runs a system check through all of the nights police calls and logs looking for anything the young crusader could possibly lend a hand with. “Tonight seems kind of slow… that’s odd especially for Bludhaven. Probably means someone’s up to something I just have found out what yet.” Nightwing reapplys himself and with a small jump forward tool in hand he swings off on patrol.

Hello, welcome to the forum! So from what it looks like here based on just a glance, it seems like you're apping for a DC at large NW. The forum here is based on the Teen Titans Animated show, which has its own lore that only adopts things from DC on occassion- writers and all that.

But more importantly- this is awkward but Robin is already around as a canon, played be me lol

So with that in mind, unless you try for an AU/time travel angel, I would advise trying for another canon instead. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I did enjoy the work you put into this and hope to see what else you come up with Smile

That is to bad. I haven't been on this forum in 6 years but it looks like there is no room for me here then. There are not very many characters within the world of the main Original TTG series to allow for many to have a slot. I could probably do Red X since someone did steal Robins tech or I could crush the entire Titan Team as Slade.

I will think on it. My main characters before were Slade, Joker and Nightwing plus a couple OCs. I can't really do a different timeline as it would not be canon to your content as you said. So what are your ideas?

Just an FYI, Red X is also claimed at the moment, Slade is considered MIA, and Joker is currently on track to be used as an NPC in a larger event.
